I have a mac pro OSX 10.7.4 Lion and i cannot find my processer preference anyware on my mac?

Since I run Snow Leopard I do not know what this maps into in the xcode 4 developer tools. So do a search for the Processor.prefPane (assuming you installed xcode 4.x of course). You may have to use Find Any File since I think allof xcode is buried in the xcode bundle.

When you use Migration Assitant it creates another user account and puts your files there. Please log out of your normal account and log into the new account. Had you use Setup Assistant when it asked if you were migrating that would not have occured. You have a couple of options, combine the two accounts (not recommended) or start over, use Setup Assistant and have everything in one user account. Had one mac backed up with TC went to back another to same time capsule now can not find back up for original mac

Had my main mac computer in office for many weeks backed up with TC, all was fine. Earlier today went to back up my Mac Book to the same TC. All appeared to go fine. However went to original mac to see the back ups from the main mac. Said connection error could n ot connect. I can not find any of the original back ups?
I was told that it was a straight forward procedure to add another computer's backups?

On the main computer I try and enter the Time Machine and it is telling me that there is no Location for Time Machine Backups. It then tells me that I need to set time machine up again. I then select the time capsule and ask to use it for back up. It then goes on to tell me that "There was an error connecting to server. Check server name or IP Address, then try again.

I have the same issue. Yesterday I could connect to my wifi just fine, but today I turned on my wifi and the wheel just spins and spins. I restart my phone and I get the "greyed out" wifi switch. So I restart, and I'm back to square one. The wheel just keeps spinning.
I've updated the router firmware, I've power cycled everything multiple times, and still nothing.
Can anyone give a real solution? Or do we just have to suffer until apple update this **** IOS6?

That is correct Steelgrrl you will want to locate your installation media and copy the installation files to a USB drive on a computer which does have an optical drive.
Alternately if you purchased from Adobe directly and choose the download option at the time of purchase then the download will be available under your account. You can find more details at Find a download link on Adobe.com.

Have you checked that zoom is turned off? Open System Preferences > Universal Access, and turn off Zoom. You can also try to hold the Control key and scroll down, so zoom will be turned off.
If it doesn't work, open System Preferences > Displays, and choose the biggest resolution

Try the following, in order, until (hopefully) resolved:
1a. Delete Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Under "Preferred Networks," delete the network(s) you regularly use from the list.
1b. Delete AirPort Keychain Entries
Launch the "Keychain Access" application located in Applications/Utilties.
In the windows on the left side: Select login for Keychains and "All Items" for Category.
Click on the "Kind" filter at the top, and look for any "AirPort network password" entries...and delete them.
1c. Add Preferred Network(s)
System Preferences > Network > Wi-Fi > Advanced > Wi-Fi tab
Add the preferred network(s) using the "+" button.
Restart or log out then back in.
2. Move System Configuration Files
(Note: You will have to reestablish your network connections settings.)
Go to /Library/Preferences
Move the SystemConfiguration folder to the desktop.
Restart your Mac. (Note: OS X will rebuild the files that are now sitting on your desktop. If this doesn't resolve the issue, you can move the folder back to it's original location.)

Mac mini can not find the NAS

In my network I have a Mac mini, AirPort Extreme base station and a Netgear ReadyNAS Duo v2. Everything is connected by cable. The problem is that the Mac mini can not find the NAS. Mac mini is looking for wirelessly connected devices, type TimeCapsule. How do I get my Mac mini to find the NAS and set the NAS as a source of data storage?

I have a ReadyNAS and use it as a Time Machine destination with no problems, even over WiFi. The ReadyNAS and Mac are both on the same LAN (even though the Mac is on WiFi), please check to see if your WiFi is on a different LAN to the Ethernet side of things, I have my Airport set to bridging mode so both sides of the AirPort count as the same LAN.
Next you need to check you have actually configured Time Machine in the ReadyNAS, as shipped it is initially turned off. You need to go to the ReadyNAS web management interface (FrontView) and then click on Backup on the left, and then select Time Machine. You also need to make sure Bonjour is enabled for the ReadyNAS, this is accessed by clicking on Services on the left and then selecting Discovery Services, make sure all the Bonjour options are ticked on.

Open a Finder window, select Applications in the sidebar and look for iMovie. Make sure there are no external disks connected, and if so, disconnect them, open the App Store and install iMovie.
You can also use Spotlight to look for iMovie, so press Command and Space keys and type iMovie

Installing windows 7 on mac pro retina, can not find cd/dvd driver

Hi there, I have bought mac pro retina. Trying to install windows 7, running boot camp. I have downloaded windows support pac on the same usb flush. When running instalation, the system is looking for cd/dvd driver. Even though I browse to the usb flush. It can not find the driver. Than I can not go futher. Anny ideas?Thank you so much

Could be you khave a corrupted Win 7 install file/files.
Try downloading the Win 7 ISO for the version you have from here.

Then burn that ISO to a USB or DVD, USB would be better.
