Can not for the life of me get printing to work on my mac mini duo core

I have a photosmart 7550 and laserjet 1012. And I can't get my mac mini to recognize either printer. This has been driving me nuts. I was a long time mac user in the 80s and early 90s. Switched to Windows. Just switched back with the mac mini (intel duo core). And I hate to say it, but it's just been an awful transition. My wife, which hates me that I made her get rid of her windows machine and switched it with this mini. If I don't get this mac printing I'm going to have to get rid of it.
I've installed/reinstalled drivers from HP, removing the library/printer/hp directory. Guten-print. Nothing is working for me.
Can anyone help me?

If the printers are not being recognized by the Printer Setup Utility, it may mean that the printing services has not started up. You can check for this by using the Activity Monitor (/Applications/Utilities). Set it to show "All Processes", then click on the "Process Name" tab. That will sort the running processes in alphabetical order. Look for an entry for "cupsd". If you find no such entry, printing services is not running. You can probably turn it on by enabling Printer sharing (System Preferences-->Sharing).
There should be a driver for the Laserjet 1012 that will be useable once you get the computer to recognize that there is a printer there. This according to the Apple article listing the drivers included with Intel Macs . Unfortunately, that article does not list a driver for the 7550. According to HP's support site, they do have drivers for Mac OS X 10.4. There is no entry, however, for the Intel Macs. I think you will have to wait for HP to release Intel drivers for the Photosmart printer.

Clicked on the episodes and the same message popped up. How do I get these to play? I also see my download box with an error message saying it has paused the download. I click unpause and it just pauses again. I have been able to get one of the episodes to play once through, but now it gives me the same message.

It's been months, so you may not care anymore, but you can't download songs from multiple Apple IDs over a 90 days period. Sorry, it's not allowed for legal reasons.

Everytime I click on a video it says I need to update to the newest version of flash, but my computer doesn't support the updated version. So I feel like I'm in a Catch-22.

I can not for the life of me setup googlesync for my Mac contacts andiPhone

I have tried everything.I already have a google account so I followed the guide and setup exchange on my iPhone and iPad and turned off MobileMe, the iPhone and iPad did successfully sync contacts in the exchange section but then I needed to setup my Mac adress book to also sync with google contacts. I went to adress book preferences and checked sync with google then entered my google account info, I hit the sync button on the menu bar and nothing went to google contacts on the web, I do not have any contacts at all in google contacts but I do have about 50 on my Mac my iPhone and my iPad.
Basically I am desperate to get this to work I've been trying for hours, all I want is if I add a contact either in my iPhone, my iPad or in my Mac address book for it to be added to all other places, is this possible?
As of now I deleted all exchange accounts and turned MobileMe back on so everything would go back to normal..
How do I set all this up? Thank you for any help.

I'm not sure why the Address Book/Google sync isn't working, but I have had issues with the Address Book sync features in the past. If all else fails, you could instead set your iPad to sync with your Mac's Address Book when you hook it up to your computer physically. When connected, select the iPad in the Devices section of iTunes, and go to the Info tab and click Sync Address Book Contacts.

I can not for the life of my apply any color correction or any other effect to a png logo I dragged into my Premiere Pro project.

Someone please help. I can't figure out how to apply a color correction or really any effect for that matter to a png logo. I could have sworn I've done it before but maybe you just can't.

I can definitely apply a Video Effect to a still image that is a PNG file in Premiere Pro CC (2014.2)
Here is what I tried (that worked):
Set the playhead at the start of your still image (shift+drag playhead) in the timeline, you can now see it in the Program monitor.
With the Selection Tool, double-click the still image clip in your timeline.
Display Effect Controls (Window menu).
In the Effects panel, expand Video Effects > Adjust and drag the Levels effect into the Effect Controls. Make sure you don't have the 'Master' image selected (if it is you'll be making changes wherever the still is used in a sequence),
Now adjust the settings for the fx in the Effect Controls panel, and you should be able to see a change.
Hope this works for you. If not, can you let us know what version of Premiere you are using and what steps you are trying to use?

I can't for the life of me get a SWF or FLA file to play in IE 8.

What in the world do I have to do to get a flash file to play in IE 8. Dreamweaver can't embed it correctly or any other code I can find on the internet can do it. This appears to be the result of either a IE 8 update or a Flash player update.

If the camera registers itself as a standard UVC compliant Cameras (UVC = USB Video Class) then the Mac will recognise and use it with nothing else needed as the Mac has a built-in UVC driver. If it does not act as a UVC type device then you could look at the following third-party drivers.

Okay so last year I bought an ipod touch 2nd gen off a friend I lost it 3 months later the other day my mom managed to find it in the stuff I left behind. I'm not getting error messages just the apple pops up and itunes tells me it can not access my ipod with the password on it.

I tryed to sync my ipod touch 4 Gen. and for some reason I got An ipod has been detected,but it could not be identified properly. please disconnect and reconnect the ipod then try again, I did that 3 times then I got I need to Restore it back factory settings.
Now I am getting the ipod could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (2003) what should I be doing I did check for updates for the computer got some and then did a restart, still have this problem and I can't use my ipod touch at this point.

This is ludicrious. Please fix your product so it will install flawlessly. I have tried all the help suggestions with no results.

That's true , sorry that was not professional, but I was frustrated.
I was trying to watch a video and need your update.
I did the procedure, and then it failed, and stated I should close the I.E.
and retry. Nothing happened.
Read the help, checked the Internet Options, but they were already adjusted
properly. Checked the safety options_ retryed
No luck. Retarted the computer, no luck.
Ran the uninstaller, and retried no luck.
What frustrated me where 2 things: this is not the DOS age where one had to
muck around in the registry to make things work and I could not find a Chat
help link to solve the problem. Why should I be going through all thaw
hoops? Just make your product work!
So I looked on the web for the Adobe products for SALE. There I chatted
with a sales rep who said I should shut the I.E. and install through Google
Chrome. I mentioned I would loose the chat and what's the chat address if I
still needed help?
He sent me a chat link which I saved, memorized and had tatooed to my
forehead!
I pulled up the install link via Google Chrome and it ran flawlessly all by
itself the first time!
I think it would be noble of Adobe to offer a chat help link if nothing
else works.

Can anyone help can not get my ipad to connect to wireless today. has been working fine but all of a sudden will not connect to Router. I have a kindle and a mobile and both of these will connect to the router wireless but the ipad will not.
Been to my parents with the i pad and this will connect to their wireless router.

Also try this - Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
