i have a tc 1tb and it is running my wireless signal in my house. but for some reason i can not get my airport express to extend the wireless signal. its like it will not pair up with eachother. any help please??

Can not get my notebook to go wireless - CODE 22

I am trying to get my comp to go wireless but when I try this it shows the pro/wireless connection as being disabled.
It also says when I try to enable it "The device is disabled Code 22".
In the box below this with the heading "Device useage", it says "Do not use this device (disable)
Any idea's please anyone as it is doing my head in?

You did not mention what operating sistem You use , did wireless adapter ever worked for You, on what conditions it stopped working. So I had to make some assumptions.
In my oppinion you have following options. Try them in listed order:
1. Look in computer's BIOS if there is an option to enable wireless adapter
2. reinstall wireless adapter driver
3. Reinstall OS
If nothing helps then it is most likely hardware issue and needs physical repairing.

Yes, from within Windows install the drivers you downloaded when you first ran Bootcamp Assistant. It was the first menu item in Bootcamp Assistant.

Funny how I can ping the Extreme but the Hard Ethernet ports dont seem to work correctly.
When the AirPort Extreme is configured to "Join" a wireless network, the Ethernet ports are not enabled.
Oddly, the AirPort Express has a special feature that will allow it to to "Join" virtually any wireless network.....and the Ethernet port can be enabled. So, an Express would work for your purpose to provide an Ethernet connection to the media player. This assumes that the Express is located where it can receive a strong wireless signal from your main router.
Note that the Express will not provide any additional wireless coverage when it "Joins".

Temporarily connecting your AirPort Express to one of the Time Capsule's Etherent LAN <-> ports...as LaPastenagure suggests....is always a good way to setup and configure other network devices.
If you want to configure the Express using wireless, remember that the Express broadcasts a default wireless signal with a name like Apple Network xxxxxx. You must log on to this network first....no password is required....then open AirPort Utility to "see" the AirPort Express.

Yes, you can do this as you stated. In essence you will want to configure both routers for roaming network. Please check out the following Apple Support article that describes this type of network. Although this article uses two or more AirPorts, it can be done with just about any manufacturer's router.

I have the DSL phone line plugged into WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem and then the ethernet (yellow) wire from the WIndsteam Seimens Speedstream 4200 modem to the port on the dome that is a circle of dots.

1)Can you explain how using the AEBS as a bridge will work with the Seimens Speedstream4200?
As a bridge, the AEBS will basically become a wireless access point. This will allow the AEBS to provide a wireless network, but still allow the Speedstream to provide NAT & DHCP services for the wireless clients connected to the AEBS. If the AEBS was left as a router, you would have a double-NAT condition which isn't necessary bad in itself, but would create a second subnet. That would make it more difficult for clients connected to the AEBS to access clients connected to the Speedstream.
2) Is there a link that will guide me through the steps to set the AEBS as a bridge?
You can easily reconfigure the AEBS as a bridge using the AirPort Utility.
ref: AirPort Utility > Select the AEBS > Manual Setup > Internet > Internet Connection > Connection Sharing = Off (Bridge Mode)
3)Can I just connect the DSL phone line to the AEBS and eliminate the Speedstream4200?
Unfortunately no. The AEBS does not have a built-in DSL modem. You will still need the Speedstream to provide this function.

Try this:
Turn off or remove power from the DSL model, the router, and your computer. Wait not less than one minute. Restore power to the modem and wait until the status lights indicate a connection to the ISP. Next, restore power to the router and wait until the status light shows connection to the modem. Last, turn on the computer. Check your Network preferences to be sure they are configured for a DHCP connection and that the router has received a valid IP address (not 169.xxx.xxx.xxx).

If you go to Photoshop>About Plug-in and click on the words Camera Raw, what version does it list?
I suspect you still have Camera Raw 7.0

Friends can not get into see my photos in Express

Hi,
I am having a problem that I hope someone can help with.
I use Express, although I have Elements 8 installed and have transfered some of my photos into E8 while still using Express, friends can not get in to see my albums.
It said that natureschild122 has not shared any albums. Check back again soon.
I have 18 albums all listed as shared and I created 3 this month so far Aug1,4 &5.
I have deleted E8 hoping this would help but it has not.
Any assistance would be gratefuly accepted.
When I do switch over to E8 will my friends still be able to see my albums?

Would you please provide some more information about your current network so that we can help you? For example, is your AirPort Express the only router in your current network configuration? That is, is it connected directly to a broadband modem or to another router upstream of it? Regardless, what is the make & model of this modem?
