Can not get my MacPro to connect to iCloud

I can not get my MacPro to connect to iCloud.  It tries periodically but returns the message "This Mac can't connect to iCloud because of a problem with [my account]@aim.com."  This aim.com address is one I have not used in years. I have tried to purge all references to this address in my system but must have missed some.  How do I correct this?

Is it still functional ? iCloud sends a welcome mail to this adress. Look for it.

    Guess I understand what is going on as I'm also experiencing the problem.
    Basically the issue is about the iPhone 4's personal hotspot.
    I'm trying to hook on personal hotspot to my toshiba laptop but it couldnt work as the connection is limited to local only without Internet access.
    The hotspot works well on other laptop and I-devices, but not my toshiba...

    Additional things to try.
    Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
    On your iPad go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset network settings and see if that enables you to connect.
    If none of the above suggestions work, look at this link.

    If you plug up both to computer, open itunes, click "back up to computer" on both (not necessary for the one that's being transferred to) then on the one that's sending data click "back up" in the iTunes menu. It will then back up (if not already done in sync). Now plug up the second one (being transferred to) and on the iTunes menu, click "restore from backup" then choose the device you just backed up, and click "ok" or what it says.

    After updating my ipad 3 to ios 7, I can't get Keynote or Numbers to connect to iCloud. Pages works just fine. I move the slider to use Icloud but it wont stick. Any suggestions.

    It's about what happened to iPod connectivity after a MacBook was upgraded to 10.6 due to a new iPad.
    Solved. Had to do a reformat-install of 10.6, then a complete wipe-reset on the iPod from another computer. What a pain!

    I have an imac with OS X 10.8.2 and an iphone 5. i have AT&T service and msn email account. My contacts and calendar are not syncing with icloud! I have all the settings adjusted correctly and I can not figure out why it won't sync.

    iPhones running iOS 6 require iTunes 10.7, which requires OS X 10.6.8 or later. You will have to upgrade OS X, then download the latest version of iTunes.
    You can copy your iTunes library to the new machine either manually, or you can use the migration assistant built into OS X to transfer the entire account. Up to 5 computers can be activated using the same iTunes account.

  • Can not get Wi-Fi to connect

    I have never been able to get my Wi-Fi to connect. It shows my home signal, I enter the pass code and hit join. It says it is "unable to join the network linksys-g". If I go into settings under Wi-Fi Networks is shows my signal there but is no information for it at all under any of the headings. I do not understand this network stuff. Someone else set up my wireless because I dont get it. Can someone help me. It would be great to use the iTunes on my phone but at this rate it will never happen. I would greatly appreciate any advice anyone could give me.

    I had similar problem with easy fix after reading SEVERAL discussion boards. Go to you router settings and check your DNS server settings on your router, then manually enter this same DNS address on the iPhone (settings/wifi/touch the name of your home network) I had a similar problem with my Powerbook G4, had to manually enter the DNS settings. Took just a couple minutes and now works just fine. If you use a wireless laptop, you can also check the DNS server settings on the computer versus going to the router. Hope it helps.

  • I had to move my modem and router, when I reconnected them my desktop connected fine but I can not get the iPad to connect to the internet.  It recognizes the network but won't connect to internet.

  • I get a message the message " Can not get mail. Not connected to server" Yet I am connected with Wi-fi and can access all other websites. Can you advise? My iPad is only a month old!

    Has any one experienced not being able to send mail and only receiving some? I get the message " can not get mail. No connection to the server! " Yet I get some mail but can not send out any. My iPad is only 1 month old! It worked perfectly for about 10 days.
