Can not get past language setting

I have reset, updated.....you name it......everything that the web site suggest doing and some of the suggestions in these discussions. I can get the apple when holding down the menu and select buttons and then it goes back to showing language. Can anybody tell me how the heck to get this thing working?

ok, that seems to make more sense anyways. that sounds like an unfixable problem
you might want to try this:
resest (MENU+SELECT)
while you see the Apple, hold in MENU+REWIND
this will bring you to the built-in diagnostic program
try some stuff in here: maybe you can at least figure out what the problem is...

To change the iCloud ID you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone (if you're using iOS 7), then sign back in with the ID you wish to use. If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https//appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID. Tap edit next to the primary email account, tap Edit, change it back to your old email address and save the change. Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address. You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud). Next, go back to https//appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was. Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

I verified my email, then went to sign in and I can not get past the Sign In.

Thanks, Andrew for your help. Not sure if you will see this, but I did the above and it said the HD was okay. Rebooted it and still won't go past login page. Tried it again and this time typed in the line /sbin/fsck -fy and then it came up and said HD was okay, but said something about being modified. I once more rebooted, but it still won't get past the login screen. Besides taking long to reboot, as before, I am able to enter my password, but then it hangs up with the rainbow icon rotating continuously. New Build can not get past 2E on debug and 2A on dashboard

I have a new build - Big Bang, I7 -950, Corsair xms3 8gb 2 X 4, Radeon HD 5770 HD-577A-ZN, WD Caviar Green 1 TB, Liteon 24X DVD, Ultra X4 750 W modular power supply, 932 HAF Case.
When I boot I can't get past 2E on the debug and 2A on the dashboard and nothing on the monitor. I have removed everything and replaced it and checked the pins on the processor which are good to go and still comes up with 2E and 2A

How do I get past the set up screen after restoring a new iPad 2 from an iTunes backup. I'd like to sync my apps on my iTunes to my iPad.

What setup screen? I have restored from a backup several times and the iPad always syncs when the process is complete. What are you seeing on the setup screen?

Can not get past program load-up

The program was working fine however recently I can not move past loading up the program. I access aperture and the program comes up however then I go in to a in-definate loadup and cannot move forward.
This all happened after I deleted a project and then tried to move it back from my trash. The folder name was created however it never loaded completely and told me to re-boot system.
After re-boot, this is the current situation.
Any ideas are welcome.

Hi Tony,
My guess is that putting the trashed project back has caused the problems; you can't just move them in and out of the Aperture library and expect things to be peachy. In Finder, right click the icon for the Aperture library and choose "Show package contents", and then drill down until you see all the project folders. Delete the problem project from the Aperture library, then take all the image from the trash and reimport them into a new project.
Alternatively, restore your Aperture library using Time Machine from the point just before you deleted the project accidentally.

Stuck in single user mode and can not get past it

I am experiencing a problem I recently had lent me a Mac g4 tower. I decided to upgrade to tiger and accidentally set the start-up preference to the disc, every time I boot up it goes into single user mode, if I boot up holding the option key it brings up 3 icons on the right is an arrow in a circle formation which is refresh at a guess in the middle is the hard drive which is depressed kind of thing and on the right is a straight arrow. I have tried selecting each of these individually and even pressing enter all but the refresh icon goes back into single user mode. When the disc is in and I go to this it does not ring up the disc as an option.
I have zapped the PRAM reset the CUDA button and even telling it to reset the NRAM etc.
I have tried it with the disk in and out and all paths lead to the same outcome it starts up I hear the tone and the screen goes grey with an apple icon on then it goes to lack screen saying localhost:/root#.
I have also used the (fsck –fy) in single user mode to scan the disk and it says it appears to be ok. I have done all these steps multiple times but I am still getting the same outcome.
I have also tried pulling the logic battery and pressing the cuda switch and leaving it to stand and even pulling the RAM but this has not worked and I am still getting the same out come of been put straight in to single user mode.
I have tried starting up in safe mode but again this just goes to single user mode as well.
As yet I have not tried booting up using this machine as a slave drive or using another Mac as a slave drive and seeing what this out come does as I have not got access to another Mac at this time.
Unfortunately I do not have the original discs that came with the machine either so can not even boot from them.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated thank you.

I have tried several key commands such has D, C and even holding (option, command, shift and delete) when i do this it just brings up a folder with two changing flashing icons.

Ok checked them out and followed the instructions given, but still getting the same outcome, looked at the system log and it tells me.
