Can't get Apache mod_jk To Work In Mountain Lion

Hi,
I'm trying to get Apache and Tomcat to communicate via mod_jk. I have had this working fine in the past on servers running 10.4 through 10.6.
Now whenever I try to load the mod_jk module with 'JKMount /appname/* ajp13' in my virtual hosts file Apache barfs at startup with the unhelpful message...

Everything else in my config is taken directly from a setup that works under Snow Leopard and I have (after much pain and grief) compiled and installed the latest version of mod_jk under Mountain Lion.
Has anyone got mod_jk working under Mountain Lion? Is there a better forum for this question...

OK, it seems that mod_jk isn't getting loaded by Apache and I can't figure out why. No error messages or anything?

How can I get software update to work on my iMac?

I get message that there are no updates available but I suspect that's incorrect. I'm running 10.4.11, but there must be some updates since this past January that I have not been able to get. What's the issue?

10.4.11 is the final version of the now obsolete Tiger, which is no longer supported by Apple.
There will be no further updates.

after update to OS4.2.1 I can not get the ringer to work for incoming calls. If I set Vibrate on, that's the only notification I get. Tried everything including blowing away ALL my apps and restoring phone to new. Lost all my apps but the ringer still won't ring

God Bless u! LOL I have an otterbox case on my phone and had no clue that the mute button was there....Thank you so much!! The volume on my movies & everything else worked...even when I would go into "settings" and adjust the volume of the ringtone. I knew it was something simple...Thanks again..

Getting Software Update to work?

Hi guys,
We're looking into trying to get Software Update to work on our Xserve.
The network team have put the IP address into their Inty client to allow us direct access to the net.
Problem is that when I start up the service and click update list nothing happens even tho it's downloaded some updates perviously (So confused.com)
Looking back through the logs to see what the **** has gone wrong I found this under each log:

* AFP
* Netboot
* NFS
* Open Directory
* SMB
* Software Update
Can someone please offer some advice on what I need to do to get this service working. As it would be handy to get the Mac's to communicate with the xserve rather than going to the net or sending the updates to the Mac's and not logging on each one at a time

Run fAPN and create new APN with MMS setting which you can get from your operator or find on this page (this may not be needed for all users, see note below)
Run fMMS and it will start with configuration
Put APN name the same you named your MMS APN point during fAPN configuration
Type MMSC which you can take from your operator
Type your number starting with +
Put max size of pics you want to have in outgoing MMS
Save all and start sending MMS from fMMS menu.
It is very important to put correct setting in new APN and be sure if there is proxy needed in your operator.

Hello, I am having problems migrating data from my old PC running XP (SP3) to my new Mac Pro 2012 using the Migration Assistant.
- I downloaded and installed the Windows Migration Assistant from Apple
- My Mac recognized PC and displays passcode
- The sasscode does not show / display on my PC
- My Mac is then stuck in "authenticating" loop and the PC is stuck "waiting for Mac to connect."
- Both computers are connected on same network (have connected PC on WIFI and using ethernet to Reuter)
I have looked on support site and only response I saw says to reinstall Windows Migration Assistant (which I have done)
Any ideas? If cant get this to workare there instructions for manually bring across relevant data eg itunes music and apps, photos, picasa data etc?

Why not turn off the Windows firewall and uninstall any other firewall software you have installed?
If you are using a Norton product uninstall it and discard it. To fully unistall most Norton products you have to go to the Norton website and download a soecial program to completely get rid of it. The normal uninstall feature built into the program will not remove all of it.

If the downloads are gone, it's possible that Windows is removing the downloads based on security policies set in IE. I realize that sounds strange, but it's related to Firefox's feature of submitting downloads to your virus scanner and marking them as having come from the internet.
To test this theory, you could try disabling the scan feature. I assume you have good "real time" antivirus protection which checks every file saved to your hard drive. (If not, you really should get that, and you can use Microsoft's free [http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/products/security-essentials Microsoft Security Essentials] for now until you have time to review all the available choices.)

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

Help.... I can NOT get my microphone to work with my Blaster X-Fi XtremeGamer Fatal1ty Professional card. When I plug it in and test it (in either Configure Speech Recoginition - Windows Vista / or in Counter-Strike Source, Test Microphone Button under the game options) both indicate that the system is not receiving any sound. However, both the speakers (5.1) and headphones work fine. I am using a Plantronics headset.
I am not sure what I am doing wrong. Below are my complete system specifications. Let me know what additional information you need, if any.
