Can not import imges to key note

Morning all,
I'm having a problem with key note on my iPad. Can can import tables charts ect, but when itry and add an image from my photos, it won't add. When I select the image, it darkens the image so showing the one i have selected, but then does nt add it, just leave the select box open.
Any rhombus, as this is driving me mad.
As I said, I can add all the other things, it's just mede a that is failing.

How long did you wait? If you're using large photos, it may take a few seconds to copy the photo over and scale it to size. Try something small, e.g. a screenshot taken on the iPad.
Heh, I just tried it with some 12 megapixel photos and Keynote crashed after about 6 seconds. Oh well ...

Does your slideshow have animation in any of the slides? Are you using a unique transition between slides?
One way to get the slideshow into a MMe Gallery is to select all of the pages and do a Print ➙ PDF ➙ Save PDF to iPhoto. This will create a jpeg of each slide in the slideshow and import it into an iPhoto album. There you can create a MobileMe Gallery with those files.
Another is to export the slideshow as a QT movie file, import it into iPhoto and create a MMe gallery with that movie file.

I imported 100 photos, when I was reading photos iphoto crushed, and when I restarted iphoto all photos imported had disappeared!Is there a way to find them. They were imported, they can not have disappeared from the hard disk?

I imported 100 photos from my camera (Canon) into iphoto. The importation went well, and when I was watching the photos, suddenly iphoto crashed. I restarted iphoto and realized that the photos had disapered. The events are availbble into iphoto but they are empty, the photos have dispeared. I can not believe they disapeared as they have been imported and read once, they must be hidden somewhere on the disk? Is there a way to find where they are?

Assuning you're running iPhoto 9 or later try the following:
1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down to open the First Aid window.
2 - Run Option #4, Rebuild Database.

Key chain dissapeared - can not recreate - also safari gone wrong

i was working on my email and had safari opened. I had an error message trying to read an email account and it said your keychain can not be found, reverst to default? I said no and since I have no key chain and can't recreate one. error message is error occured while creating key chain.
I then tried to access this forum though safari and it worked well until the login screen where is said:

i have a backup of my keychain on idisk but when i try to access it it says there is no keychain to write the password to. if I cancel, nothing happens, if i say reset, i go into a loop with the same error asking for a passw but saying it can't be saved
i guess there is some corruption somewhere but have no idea what I can recreate or delete
any idea anyone??? i have a backup at home as well but i am currently traveling so also don:t have my original set up disk
i will be backhome in 6 hours, will check email and this forum then, hopefully with a solution...

The only way that I know of to fix this problem, is to reinstall the system software. You can choose and option that will import you current settings after the system is installed and all you files will be put in a folder labled "Previous System." I would still back up any important files you may have because I don't know how reliable it is or to what extent it works.

Can not locate iPhoto 9.6 (910.29) files to import into iMovie (10.0.6) on Yosemite (10.10.2)

I am trying to import some photos and movies into iMovie (10.0.6) from iPhoto 9.6 (910.29) but I can't do it. I've searched for solutions but can't figure it out. I can't locate my iPhoto files and it's driving me bonkers! It's probably a very simple solution.
When I use iPhoto I can access all my photos and movies. When I search through Finder I'm unable to locate the files. When I use the "reveal in finder" function in iPhoto it shows the files are only in "iPhoto library" and provides the full file path. When I try to follow the file path and go to Pictures > iPhoto library and click on this it opens iPhoto instead of allowing me to go to the files as in previous versions of OSX.
I can't get to the files through finder, and i can not import them into iMovie (as am trying to follow the same file path).
Any solutions would be appreciated!

Either export the photos and movies from iPhoto to a folder on your Desktop and import to iMovie from there,
or use the Media Browser in iMovie:
The "Libraries" panel will show you the iPhoto Library in the sidebar. Import your photos and videos from there. If the "Libraries" sidebar is missing press the keys ⇧⌘1 (Windows > Show Libraries) to reveal it.

I can not access my hard disk protected by Bitlocker drive despite the right recovery key

I had locked my 1 TB harddisk 1 year back with BitLocker Drive. I have been using its recovery key to unlock it since then. But since 3 days back, it has been displaying the message " Error recovering disk. The recovery key entered is not correct, try
it again." And I am not able access my important documents despite of having the right key.

One of the greatest feature of MBAM is single-sign of Recovery Key which means if a recovery key is used once, it will be automatically re-generated. So, first match the 8 digit starting of Recovery ID with its associated recovery key.
Or re-request for the Recovery Key to your MBAM Administrator by providing him the starting 8 digit recovery ID. You can also get the recovery key again using the MBAM self-Service Portal.

I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

New pe9 elements can not import pe6 catalog

I just purchased Photoshop Elements 9 and Premiere elements 9. I insstalled elements 9 to a win 7 system with no problem. I can not import my PE6 catalog to pe9.
in the pe6 catalog manage the catalog is located in " catalog accessable by all users" I did run repair in the manager and was told it was not needed would I like to index any how ? I did. I also optimized it.
The catalog still did not appear in the pe9 catalog manager. pe9 will not be of use if the 9000 photos from pe6 can not be imported?

You can do that by clicking File à Get Photos & Videos à From Files & Folder
Then navigate to Pictures or My pictures and press Ctrl+A to select all sub folders, then click Get media or open.
That will import everything from the pictures folders but if you want all your key words and albums etc you need to convert the catalog.

ICal stuck displaying 'importing iCal data'. I can not shut down.

iCal is stuck displaying 'importing iCal data' with a candy cane display to the side. I can not close iCal nor shut down. How do I determine where it is seeking data? How do I get it stopped?

Force quit iCal. >Force Quit>iCal.
Then remove the com.apple.iCal.plist file from your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder. Drag the .plist file to your desktop.. Also go to your HD/Users/yourusernam/Library/Calendars Folder and remove any files with "Cache" as a part of the file name. Log out/in, or restart and check iCal/Calendar for functionality.
To find the correct Library Folder for Preferences/Calendar, select Finder>Go and depress the Option key.

When I try to zoom the text of an e-mail I received or sent , I can no longer use the keys Command + to enlarge the text, although I can reduce it with Command -.
As I have a problem with my eyes, This is a serious matter for me.
When I write an e-mail, if I select text and press Command +, it just displaces the text to the right.
Now, my husband has a USB keyboard. If he connects it to my computer, his regular Command + does not work either, but he uses the extended keyboard, then it works. Unfortunately, he needs it for a musical application which does not work with a wireless keyboard.

Firefox 3.6.4 and 3.6.6 use a process called, "plugin-container.exe" which was using up most of my CPU when I opened up multiple tabs that contained Adobe Flash files, and caused Firefox to lock up.
My solution was to use Firefox 3.5.10 which you can get from the Mozilla website at [http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-older.html]
I am using Adobe Flash 10.1.53.64 without any problem in this version of Firefox. Check the release notes, I believe it contains all the latest security fixes in "Firefox 3.6.4".
Hopefully, they will fix Firefox 3.6 in the next version (e.g. Firefox 3.6.7), until then you should probably use "Firefox 3.5.10".

When you restore from a Time Machine back up, you can tell it to not transfer folders like Desktop, Documents. Downloads, Movies, Music, Pictures and Public. Take a look at the article below for the steps to restore from your back up.

Can not unlock the keys in my 8900!

Top lock button does not work for me as apparently created because of corrosion
Lbenateime only solution is to lock the buttons to hold down *
After that I want to open the buttons I can not open back by clicking on * then press Send
Must specify the latest version is 5.0.0.900 device.
Have a solution? There may be other buttons can be set lock and unlock?
If so would love to hear a solution for this.
Perhaps through a file that should open with the device software?

when we want to find data by key, the length of key
should plus 1.

Can not insert null into foreign key issue

I am having parent-child relationship table.
In the child table when I am adding a new record , data is getting inserted with foreign key.
After insert if I immediately update the same record. Its giving error that can not insert null into foreign key.
If i click on rollback button I am able to update that record properly.

"Can not get a key" error when assigning the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate

I am migrating from Lync Server 2010 to 2013. When deploying the 2013 server, it fails when assigning the OAuthTokenIssuer certificate. With the KeyException error below.
I've tried "re-keying" the cert and confirmed that the key is exportable. Does anyone have any insight on how to resolve this?

Please try to assign the certificate with Lync Server Management Shell.
Run the following command:
Set-CSCertificate -Identity Global -Type OAuthTokenIssuer –Thumbprint <string>.
Check if you can assign default certificate to Lync Front End Server.
Check the Root Certificate Authority certificate is not expired.
