Can Not Install OS Update 10.1.0.2014 Onto My Z10

Hi, I have beem trying to install 10.1.0.2014 onto my Z10 on the Telus Mobility network.  I have spent hours trying to get this problem figured out.  I have tried over the air update 4 or 5 times.  It seems to download normally and install.  But, when it says to reboot the reboot icon goes to 100% and stays there.  I have let it go up to 6 hour but phone will not reboot.    I have also tried installing numerous times using the Link software and the www.blackberry.com/update and the same thing happens.  Icon goes to 100% but goes no further after numerious hours, will not reboot.  I also tried reinstalling software using the Link software.  When I begin reinstall process on the Link software, it says there is a software update avalible and asks if I want to install update.  If I click yes the update installs to the 76% level and says there was an error.  When I click retry, the same thing happens download stays at 76% and will go no further.  If I click to reinstall software without the update it reinstalls.  But, then when try to install the update, it gets stuck at the 100% for a few hours and goes no further.  I was on for an hour and a half with Telus tech support but they couldn't help me out.  They told me to call BlackBerry.  I am so upset, I've been loving my Z10 until this problem began.  I have been trying to get this problem corrected for quite a few days.  I would be thankful for any advice.

Of course I am upset. Would you like to be without your phone for a day and have to visit your supplier repeatedly for a problem they caused you? I have spent over $35,000 with Telus since 1997 when I became one of the first clients of the then Clearnet company (which gave Telus its branding that we see today).
Thanks for your information but here is the real issue. The Telus manager said that the one Installed now (and what would I know because I am basically a monkey that pushes the buttons when asked, this is the first time I have even looked at the OS version) which is OS version 10.1.0.273 would actually be a newer version so I should stick with it. He told me that release .2014 has problems reported online but that .273 is an approved release directly from Blackberry. if this is true then why would I upgrade? How does it help me? What has Telus added that assists me, saves me money, improves my experience? In other words I need a clearly articulated value proposition if I am to spend more of my valuable time on fixing this issue. I pay top dollar to be a Telus client and I expect results and performance from my suppliers.

Photoshop CC show me, if I look on "Help" -> Update, there is no update. But my actual license is very old....
I tried it, to do it manual. But there is also some problem.

  • HT1766 Recently updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6. Now I can not install application updates, my music library has vanished, iTunes Match (in Settings) keeps setting itself to "Off".

I recently updated my iPhone 4s to the iOS 6. Now I can not install application updates, my music library has vanished, iTunes Match (in Settings) keeps setting itself to "Off". I have also logged off of iTunes in Settings, and it will not let me log back in. Just a few moments ago when I again tried to log into iTunes, it asked me for my Password, then replyed that I had no Match account; but I do. Is Restore the best option?
    Any suggestions

I couldn't find the edit button on my original post so I am posting an update here.
I have gone through more apps and have had good luck on all but one more.  And it's not that the app doesn't work, I am talking about the Yahoo Weather app, It works fine, but when you swipe between cities the screen lags a bit and it sometimes doesn't move between pages the way it should.  On iOS 7.1.2 it was smooth as butter but on iOS 8.0, not so much.  I will post a note in the app store to let them know.  I really like the Yahoo app better than the new stock app.
I have been going through my games and they all work fine. Angry Birds (Original and Stella), Canabalt, Minecraft, Bejeweled 2, Silly Walks, PopWords, Doodle Jump, Deep Green all seem to work just fine.
Starbucks app works as it should.
I will stop back again next week after I have had the weekend to play with it in detail and post my thoughts again.

  • HT5622 I have verified my Apple ID several times on my Iphone but a can not install APP updates?  The same Apple ID works fine on my Ipad for updates etc.???

I have verified my Apple ID several times on my Iphone but can not install APP updates. Everything work fine on my Ipad using same AppleID ect.?

Sign out and back into your apple id from Settings>iTunes and App stores>(Your apple ID)>Sign Out and then sign in again with the new address. Close app store from running in the background (or restart the phone if your unsure how to do this). If when trying to update any apps they are still asking for the old apple ID, delete and re-install those apps.

  • Can not install any updates on macbook

    This is what I have...
    Hardware Overview:

    Memory: 2 GB
    Bus Speed: 800 MHz

    Used: 93.67 GB on disk
    (100,580,335,616 bytes)
I also have a copy of iLife 09 that has been installed on my iMac. I would like it to go on the MacBook as well so everything is compatible. It says I need to update the software for OS X but I haven't been able to do that for awhile. This is the message it gives me.
+The update "Mac OS X Update Combined: can't be installed.+

It gives me a simular message no matter what software I try to update, printer, itunes...
I have tried making sure I have 15% available memory and I tried making a new user account.
    Any help would be appreciated!

    First, to the following:
Repairing the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your OS X Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Installer menu (Utilities menu for Tiger, Leopard or Snow Leopard.) After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list. In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive. If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer. Now restart normally.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
If this doesn't help then download the updater at support.apple.com/downloads/ and try again.

  • Can not install this update for kb2667402 windows 7 professional. I tried various fix-it but it did not help Update KB2667402 failed with error 80004005

I'm not sure where to turn now and am soooooooooo frustrated! I have been trying to get security update KB2667402 with error code 80004005 to install for a couple months without any success.
So, I finally turned to microsoft tech support... Case# 1186572463
On Fri. Oct. 26 I was on the phone with a microsoft tech for over 3 hours. The tech that took remote access of my computer said she did not know how to fix my problem and that my case would have to be escalated to a higher level and that I would
receive a call back on Mon. Oct. 29th. However, I never got a return call.
Yesterday - Tues. Oct. 30th I called in again and was on the phone for 4.5 hrs with a microsoft tech and he also took remote access of my computer but was not able to fix the problem. I asked to speak to someone at a higher tech level and was told to call
    back into the microsoft helpline.
The 3rd call - Although I had been told during the prior 2 calls that I was still covered under my warrenty I was now told that I needed to pay for the support call. It took a while to get that straighteded out and to give all my information again to
the call center but I finally worked with a 3rd tech for over 2 hrs. but had to terminate the call for a conference call I had with a client. The person I worked with said he would call me back between 7-8pmEST so he could continue helping me but I never
    got a return call.
I have already invested over 10 hrs in the last few days regarding this issue and fear that if I call back in I will once again start over completely with no success which is why I am reaching out here. Is there anyone that has the knowledge of how to fix
    the problem?

I've been having the same problem and today did some searching and found something that worked.  Check that the download hasn't already been installed - look in the Installed Updates listing for an entry.  If it exists there, uninstall it, and
then force a Check For Updates and retry the install. This worked for me and I hope it helps.
    Good day, Chuck.

  • I can not install updates for Adobe 9 Pro

I can not install updates for Adobe 9 Pro

When you can not install the updates from the Help menu, go to http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=1&platform=Windows (similar for MAC) and install the updates in order. It is a good idea to download from the most recent back in case there are any you can skip (each updates indicates the prior version required). You generally need to reboot only after the last update.

    (1) Download the Windows Installer CleanUp utility installer file (msicuu2.exe) from the following Major Geeks page (use one of the links under the "DOWNLOAD LOCATIONS" thingy on the Major Geeks page).
    http://majorgeeks.com/download.php?det=4459
Here's a screenshot showing the particular links on the page that you should be clicking:
After clicking one of the circled links, you should be taken to another page, and after a few seconds you should see a download dialog appear for the msicuu2.exe file. Here's a screenshot of what it looks like for me in Firefox:
Choose to Save the file. If the dialog box does not appear for you, click the link on the page that says "CLICK HERE IF IT DOES NOT". Here's a screenshot of the page with the relevant link circled:
When the dialog appears, choose to save the file.
    (2) Go to the Downloads area for your Web browser. Doubleclick the msicuu2.exe file and follow the prompts to install the Windows Installer CleanUp utility. (If you're on a Windows Vista or Windows 7 system and you get a Code 800A0046 error message when doubleclicking the msicuu2.exe file, try instead right-clicking on the msicuu2.exe file and selecting "Run as administrator".)
    (3) In your Start menu click All Programs and then click Windows Install Clean Up. The Windows Installer CleanUp utility window appears, listing software that is currently installed on your computer.
    (4) In the list of programs that appears in CleanUp, select any iTunes entries and click "Remove", as per the following screenshot:
    (5) Quit out of CleanUp, restart the PC and try another iTunes install. Does it go through properly this time?

    Upgrading to Snow Leopard
You must purchase Snow Leopard through the Apple Store: Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard - Apple Store (U.S.). The price is $19.99 plus tax. You will be sent physical media by mail after placing your order.
After you install Snow Leopard you will have to download and install the Mac OS X 10.6.8 Update Combo v1.1 to update Snow Leopard to 10.6.8 and give you access to the App Store. Access to the App Store enables you to download Mountain Lion if your computer meets the requirements.
         Snow Leopard General Requirements
           1. Mac computer with an Intel processor
           2. 1GB of memory
           3. 5GB of available disk space
           4. DVD drive for installation
           5. Some features require a compatible Internet service provider;
               fees may apply.
           6. Some features require Apple’s MobileMe service; fees and
               terms apply.
Actually, you cannot download Snow Leopard. You downloaded a Snow Leopard updater.

In Snow Leopard you update Java from Software Update (in the Apple menu). You can check your version by opening Terminal and typing
    java -version
(don't get creative and type anything else)
    The latest version is 1.6.0_65.

  • HT4759 I can not install app's from the app store on my phone, and when i try, i get a message tells me (cannot connect to itunes store) that happened after i updated it to "IOS6" . it's a "IPhone4 S"

I can not install app's from the app store on my phone, and when i try, i get a message tells me (cannot connect to itunes store) that happened after i updated it to "IOS6" . it's a "IPhone4 S"

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it.  So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID).  If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.
