Can not move the video on ipad
Hello!
I want to add video, do not try and add drag and add a file is not working!
Tried to add it to "Automatically add to iTunes" - is not added, but rather appears in the "not added"
It"s not only my problem(many people in "ru net" have the same problem), file format .mov. File in english.
the decision was easy to make you just uninstall Quick player and then re-install and everything works

The problem with flash player is definitely negative for a device such as Ipad 2 ...
Flash is not, and quite possibly never will be, suppported (and which is well known about iOS devices) : http://www.apple.com/hotnews/thoughts-on-flash/
Apps such as Skyfire claim to support flash, but their reviews are mixed. Some websites, especially news sites, have their own apps in the App Store, so you could try checking there. -

Hello everybody, I have a problem, I can not synchronize the videos taken with my camera from my PC to IPad (sorry, in my last question I put iPhone but is iPad )
Are they in a compatible format ? The iPad natively supports (from here)
Video formats supported: H.264 video up to 1080p, 30 frames per second, High Profile level 4.1 with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; MPEG-4 video up to 2.5 Mbps, 640 by 480 pixels, 30 frames per second, Simple Profile with AAC-LC audio up to 160 Kbps per channel, 48kHz, stereo audio in .m4v, .mp4, and .mov file formats; Motion JPEG (M-JPEG) up to 35 Mbps, 1280 by 720 pixels, 30 frames per second, audio in ulaw, PCM stereo audio in .avi file format
If your camera's videos aren't in any of those formats then you will either need to find a third-party app that doesor a PC program that can convert them prior to syncing. If you can get them into your computer's iTunes via File > Add To Library but they don't sync, then have you tried Advanced > Create iPad Version and then syncing those versions ? -
From my Ipad, when I am in Facebook, I can not hear the videos posted to my FB page...Sounds works on all other apps just not my videos on my FB page.
Homesharing has issues that have not been fixed over several versions of itunes and ios.
Only kind of fix is go back through your library and retag it. -

I can not change the view of Ipad from vertical to horizontal
Since 2 days I can not move the view of the screen of my Ipad 2 from vertical to horizontal?
rsOn the top of your screen do you see a little padlock with a circle around it? If so, that's the rotation lock. There is a little switch by the volume controls that serves as either the rotation lock of an all mute. If you see the padlock, try flipping that switch to see if it allows your device to rotate.
Is it not rotating in everything or just in a few apps? Because there are some apps out there that will not rotate, they are portrait or landscape but will not do both.
If the switch doesn't help you can go into the settings, general and see if the side switch is set to all mute or rotation lock.
If none of that works, try giving your device a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys for about 20 seconds. Once you see the silver apple let the buttons go and let it reboot. See if that helps
If not, try going into the settings and 'reset all settings'. You will need to retweak your device but it may clear things up. -

You have no choice but to lose your data back to the last backup you made.

Garage Band, I am using an MBOX with a digi design audio core as a mic interface to recod into Garage Band. Now when I Change the preferences to use the MBOX I can not move the recorder slider and there is no sound going into garage band? Any solutions
10.5.8 with latest garageband 5.1 with MBOX 1. On Nov 4.09 I did a software update, now i get no output volume or input volume to the computer itself. I get it from head phones from my mbox, but not to the computer. Before the software update It worked great. I've tried upgrading software through digidesign .com, but they dont seem to have one for what i need. any way to get my old garage band back? go from 5.1 to earlier? Or maybe it was the upgrade to 10.5.8. update? Can i go back in time lol?
Any help would be appreciated

Ive tried all the system sound prefs, and garage band drivers. Back and forth.

I am using pages designing a flow chart, question "I seem to have an issue with the arrows that you can add text to, it appears I can not move the point of the arrows up or down they only switch from left to right.
Last point...who archives? On my regular email page I now have the Archive icon to the left of my Delete icon which I would prefer was to the left, first in the line as this is the icon I use mostly. With Folders, my Sent and Trash lists, who needs to archive?
I can help you only with the placement of the icon placement -- if you right-mouse click on the toolbar, then select Customize Toolbar, you can move an icon to where you want it to be. -

I updated my OS X to Yosemite last week.
First problem: Since then, I can not update several applications any more. Yestersday, there where 5 updates: iMovie, iPhoto, Keynote, Pages and Numbers. iMovie and iPhoto updates were ok, but for the other 3 I received a message ""Update Unavailable with This Apple ID.This update is not available for this Apple ID either because it was bought by a different user or the item was refunded or cancelled"". As far as I know, I was never refunded, or I never cancelled an app that was originating from Apple. I even don't know how to di it !!
Second problem: I can not move any more the icons on my display. And sometimes thy are moved to an other position after start. For example: the Mackintosh HD and the external Time-Maschine HD were always in the right upper corner on the display. This morning, after starting, they were in the left lower corner!! No way to slide them back to the other side. They always jump back to the lower left.

Mac OS X's Desktop is the de facto location for downloaded files, and for many users, in-progress works that will either be organized later or deleted altogether. The desktop can also be gluttonous, however, becoming a catch-all for files that linger indefinitely.
Unfortunately - aside from the effect of disarray it creates - keeping dozens or hundreds of files on the Desktop can significantly degrade performance. Not necessarily because the system is sluggish with regard to rendering the icons on the desktop and storing them in memory persistently (which may be true in some cases), but more likely because keeping an excessive number of items on the Desktop can cause the windowserver process to generate reams of logfiles, which obviously draws resources away from other system tasks. Each of your icons on your desktop is stored as a window in the window server, not as an alias. The more you have stored, the more strain it puts on the window server. Check your desktop for unnecessary icons and clear them out.
Keeping as few items as possible on the Desktop can prove a surprisingly effective performance boon. Even creating a single folder on your Desktop and placing all current and future clutter inside, then logging out and back in can provide an immediately noticeable speed boost, particularly for the Finder.
And it is why Apple invented 'Stacks' for Leopard.
Keep your Desktop as clutter free as possible!

My kids dropped my iPad and the volume control on the side got jammed in and it will not move, how can I fix this? Can it be pulled out to unstuck it. The glass got chipped right next to it, but it is not that noticible. Everything else works on the iPad, but the other problem is that I am past my 90 day warrenty and it will cost me $265.00 to have Apple fix it. Is there anyway I can save my iPad?
Your warranty is actually one year - the 90-days is only for free telephone support - but the warranty would not cover damage due to the iPad being dropped. I doubt there's anything you can do to fix the rocker, so you'll probably need to pay to get the iPad exchanged (by Apple) or repaired (by a third party repair service).

In camera on iPad with the iso7 I can not get the video aspect of camera to work., any ideas?
In the camera app. I can take pics. But when I touch the video ,to change to taking a video it does not let me. All I can do is take pics. Any ideas of what I can do to make this work.
It took me a whole to work it out as well, it's not at all obvious. you don't press "video", like any normal person would assume. You have to slide those words up and down. Some of the design choices they have made in ios7 are just plain weird. My favourite is in Game Center... They have hidden the "play game" option behind three little dots.

ITunes U can not change the video view size to 1x
After updating to iOS 6, I realised that the iTunes U video play can only display the maximal size view which makes the video quality very poor and there isn't any way for to change the video to 1x size. I wonder if anyone has found a solution for this issue yet. Thank you and look forward to hearing answers about this issue.

See the attached photo. I have a photo open but I cannot see the top part of the application. It will not let me scroll up. I cannot move the application. When I click on F3 I can see the full screen and can see the photo but as soon as I click anywhere it goes back to the cup off screen.
That's the organizer? Sorry, but the Grab menu is in front in your screenshot.
If so, go to your username>library>Application Support>Adobe/>Elements Organizer/11.0>organizer and delete status.dat.
BTW, just for future reference, you don't need to bother with Grab for general screenshots. Cmd+shift+3 captures the whole screen, cmd+shift+4 and drag to capture part of it. Here are some other shortcuts (article is for 10.8 but they're the same in 10.9)
