I can not open any websites using Mozilla browser. I have attached a screen shot of the error message that I receive. You will also find it below: .

This error appears on all pages that I try to browse to. All other browsers work fine on my computer.

I can not see some parts of web pages, some things are visible others not.
In my mail program most of everything is viewable but the different styles that are available to use above the body of the message are not able to be seen. I can run my mouse over the different spots in the cell to see what that space is but you cant see it. On some web pages that I shop on all the details are available but the buy now button may be doubled and overlapped or just not visible. If I scroll with my mouse over the open areas I can usually find it but not see it. The screen also looks very bright, I've tried to change the colors to try to get the missing data to show but it's been no help. Oh, even now the button to submit this is not visible and the troubleshoot information box is only visible when scrolling over it. Thanks for any help

Where can I find a users blog web page on the server?
I know I can access the blog from the internet (http://myserver.com/users/username). I have a link on our web site set up for surfers to access this blog. I want to add a last updated line but the code [updated: <!--#flastmod virtual="http://mysever.com/users/username/" -->] obviously won't work because I need the actual web page name. Just what is this name? Where can I find it?
There is no file, so you can't use this approach.
The blog content is written in a database format, and the page is built dynamically when it's requested pulling the latest content from the database.
The #flastmod will only look at the filesystem and return the modification date of a file.
In order to get the modification date of the blog (i.e. the most recent post), you're going to have to query the database, which can't be done with a server-side includes tag. -

First off they are not even pop ups....your crap blocks everything and don't save user names &/or passwords when you have it checked. I saved web page as html file, but can't open saved file as web page
I did a FILE, SAVE PAGE AS, then chose 'WEB PAGE COMPLETE' - and a directory is created on my hard drive - with the directory name, for example - "c:\....\Ask a Question _ Mozilla Support.htm". (for this web page).
When I try to open the saved web page from Firefox, using FILE, OPEN, I see a new window that looks like a file manager window, I then select that saved .html file and click OPEN, and a new window opens that looks like file manager - displaying with all the files in that directory - "Ask a Question _ Mozilla Support.htm". That is, it does not open and dislpay the web page as I expect it should (that I saved earlier).
However, if I go to the file manager, I can see that directory is saved, and has the Windows Explorer icon associated with the directory "ask a question ....html", and also has a file type of HTML listed. If I double click that directory in file manager, Windows Explorer will open that directory and dis[play it as a web page, as I expected.
I would like to know why Firefox does not open the directory name as a web page from the FILE, OPEN command, but instead shows me the directory contents(all the files in that directory)?
BTW, if I try FILE, OPEN, using Windows Explorer the same thing happens - it opens a new window listing all the files in that directory.
Is this the way the FILE, OPEN is supposed to work?
It seems confusing, because if I am in any other program, for example WinWord, and do a FILE, OPEN command on a Word file, it opens the file as a Word Document - it does not just show the file in a "file manager window.
But when I click FILE, OPEN on an HTML file(directory using Firefox, it does not open that html directory as a web page?I am in the Windows Explorer 'Details' view, and I see the folder with 'Type' of FILE FOLDER. In that folder are all the .js and .css and .png files - as cor-el said.

I was clicking on the wrong one! Instead of clicking in the .html file, I was incorrectly clicking on the folder!

If I click on an e-mail address link in a web page instead of a blank message opening I always get a pop up screen with a log-in for googlemail. I do not have and do not want a googlemail account. I just want to be able to send e-mails using Outlook.
OUtlook was already set as the mail client for FF, and is my operating system (XP)'s default mail programme. therefore problem not solved at all. what I get whenever I follow a link in a webpage to send an e-mail is a little pop up window asking me to sign in to gmail or open an account. any other suggestions?

How can I get Safari 5.1.2 to automatically open pdf files on web pages by using Adobe Reader?
Safari 5.1.2 always opens pdf files on web pages as a single frame and thus it will not print properly. How can I get Safari to open all pdfs with Adobe Reader 10.1.1?

I use HP SimplePass Identity Protection to control my passwords. Everything was fine until I updated to Firefox 4. Can I remove version 4 or is there a solution to my problem. from the menu bar, then select the frozen application from the list and press return. As a last resort, force a shutdown by holding down the power button for a few seconds. Then press it again briefly to start up. Test. -
How to tell Safari to open and save a web page
While on vacation, I would like to save a daily puzzle that occurs on a web site that uses the same URL for each new puzzle. Using the Energy Saver Preference panel, I can schedule a daily start up and shut down and add Safari to the Login Items. How would I tell Safari to open that URL and then save the web page to the Desktop?

An Automator workflow can save the page in a web archive format:
First download the Save Safari Web Archive workflow.
I would add two additional actions at the beginning of the workflow, each from Automator's Safari library, so that your final workflow would look like this:
1) *Get Specified URLs* -- Deselect or use the minus sign to remove the default www.apple.com address. Open your puzzle page in Safari, make it frontmost, and click on the Current Safari Page button.
2) *Display Webpages*
3) *Run AppleScript* -- No need to modify the existing script.
4) *Get Selected Finder Items*
5) *Move Finder Items* -- The desktop is default.
Save the Workflow as File Format: application, and add it to your Login Items.
It all may be for naught however. I suspect that upon your return from vacation, you'll be disappointed to find that opening any one of the saved files will only result in opening the current day's puzzle. For example, on Tuesday April 29th, the puzzle linked from the URL you posted opened the puzzle for +that day,+ Puzzle Number 760. A quick look at the 30 Day Killer archive (scroll down the page) reveals that each day's puzzle has its own URL. The actual URL for Puzzle Number 760 is:

You'll notice that the URLs for the individual days' puzzles in the Killer Archive differ only in the dates appended to them. You would likely need to find a way to incorporate that pattern into an AppleScript -- correlating the current date to the updated URL.

Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding error.
This has only begun to happen after the ios5 upgrade.
Steps to recreate the issue:
In safari enter URL https://portal.keane.com
Safari waits a while and returns the error "Safari could not open the page because the server stopped responding error."
I see this behavior both on my iPhone and iPad after the iOS 5 upgrade.
Try it with any browser in your Mac or PC and this does not happen.
This didn't happen in the earlier versions of ios either, in either device.I just tried it from a pad on ios 5 and it worked. It took a real long tome and i assumed it had tomed out, but it finally came up to a log in screen for keane something. I note this is a secure server (https). So it is not a safari problem. It may bebthat their secure server can only handle so many requests at one time? Try again, and give it time.
