Can not open OPA Mass Case Tester

When I click to run Mass case tester, the following error will appear, anyone knows the reason?
By the way, OPA rules engine can work well. OPA version is 10.0. My system language is Chinese.

  • Can not open any files CS5  Win 7 64 bit

I can not open any files in Photoshop.  I can open them in Bridge or LR.  If I open a file in Camera Raw and try to go to Photoshop, PS opens and just sits there and looks at me as if I opened the program only.

Is this a new installation that has never worked, or is this a problem that has cropped up recently?
In any case, there are two things you can do that between them have a very good chance of getting things working for you.
    1.  As a diagnostic, click Edit - Preferences - Performance, and uncheck (disable) the [ ] Enable OpenGL Drawing setting, then close and reopen Photoshop.  If this corrects the problem, then chances are good that your display driver needs to be updated.  To do so, go to the web site of the maker of your video card (e.g., nVidia or ATI) and follow the links to the driver download that matches your hardware and operating system.  When you've updated the driver and rebooted your system, re-enable the OpenGL Drawing setting (remembering to close and restart Photoshop) then re-test.
    2.  Clear all Photoshop preferences to standard defaults.  To do this, press and hold the Control, Shift, and Alt keys IMMEDIATELY after cold-starting Photoshop from its shortcut or menu entry.  If you're quick enough, it will prompt you.  You'll need to go through all the preferences again to ensure any customizations you want are re-done.
    Hope this helps!

  • Exception in Mass Case Tester

While using the Mass Case Tester for reporting, I am getting the following exception:
*"Think cycle has not stabilised after 20 iterations. This is probably due to a fault in the inferencing listener."*
This is coming up when I am trying to generate any of the following:
    Exhaustive Sample
    Random Sample
Decision GraphWhat could be the possible causes for this?
Following is the entire error message and the stack trace:

The bug that I mentioned in the stack trace turned out to indeed be the source of the issue. It is a bug in 10.1 when inferred relationships are used when the engine is using what is called "Immediate" think mode, as opposed to the usual "Deferred" think mode that virtually everything uses. As it happens the MCT is one of the few tools we have that uses immediate think mode.
I've found a workaround, which ironically uses an inferencing listener to fix the issue. I will have to email it to you as I can't attach anything to the public discussion forum.
The issue is already fixed for our next release, so should not be an issue in future.

  • Unable to investigate all relevant rulebase paths using Mass Case Tester

I have been trying to generate a series of test cases for a global level attribute in the rulebase using the Mass Case Tester in 10.1 and have found that it does not seem to see all the relevant paths that are involved in proving the goal fact and doesn't seem to want to use all the base-level attributes that I know are involved. From the investigations I've done so far, it appears as if it is getting stuck at the first row of one of the rule tables in the rulebase and only seems to be investigating the attributes in that row.
Can you please advise whether this is indeed what is happening. I have supplied a range of values for many of the relevant base level attributes, but it does not seem to be using them. It only seems to think it needs answers for 7 base level attributes, but I know that there should be many more than that. Is this a known issue or is there something that I am doing wrong?

    Hi Anthony,
Long time, no see. Thanks for this. We were hoping not to have write our own utility, but I was starting to think that this was probably going to be the only way forward for us.
I have done a bit of additional experimentation with the MCT since my last post and everything seems to confirm that it does not actually seem to to find all the paths through the rulebase that prove the goal. I have tried everything I can think of to try to trigger it to investigate the rules, including creating a new goal atttribute and writing new procedural rules to force it to investigate all the paths, but have had no luck so far. I would like to know why, but don't really have the time to debug the product to figure it out for myself, which is why I am posting this thread.
I don't know whether it has something to do with the fact that the rulebase contains a lot of entities, or whether it is because most of the rules in question in this section of the rulebase are in an Excel spreadsheet, which doesn't compile properly. We have to run a special tool that Nick Miller wrote over the xgen file to get it into shape. (BTW, I have found this bug is still present in 10.1 when we were hoping it would be fixed, as this has been quite an issue for us. I have also been asked to use this project to evaluate 10.1 and discovered this yesterday.)
Back to the MCT issue, if I run the MCT report without the answers file and just rely on the learned answers, it only ever asks me for values for 3 base level attributes, when there are actually 27 non-boolean attributes that prove the goal.
If I create an xds file to use as reference data, the MCT throws an exception and says that the functionality is not supported. This was the same exception I got in version 9 of the product and the main reason why I am now trying to do this in version 10.1. I suspect this has something to do with the number of entities in the rulebase because there doesn't seem to be anyway to setup relationships between entities in the MCT, but am unable to confirm this. Can you please advise whether this is the case?
Even though I shut the product down and restart it, in an attempt to get it to see changes to the rulebase, it still doesn't seem to recognise all the changes. Is it caching data, or writing something to another file somewhere that is not getting updated when the rulebase changes?
Today I am going to try replacing the answers.xml file with a screen definition, to see if that works, although our rulebase doesn't actually use screen definitions as it is not used interactively. I will let you know how that goes. I just wanted to advise you of the problems we are experiencing with the product, but I don't really have too much more time to play around with this. It would be appreciated if any known issues with the product were properly documented, so that people like me don't waste time trying to get it to do things that it can't handle.
    Cheers
    Clare

  • Can not open my web page?

Installed my new 2T unit 5 days ago, it was fine till this afternoon. I can not open web page or connect to internet. (wired or wirelessly)
No issue with my cable modem as i tested by pluging wire direct from the modem.
"Green" light in front is OK, i have to unplug power and plug power back in after 10 sec to restore the unit to function again.
I read about the new time capsule will loss connections over time, wonder if anyone has experienced this problem in the past?

  • I have been working on a document in Pages 4.3 and now it tells me I can not open the document unless I upgrade to Pages 5.2. When I look up Pages 5.2 the App store says "installed" nor can I find a "purchase" or "install" button.

My OS is 10.9.3.I've been working on a document in Pages 4.3. Now is says I can not open the document unless I upgrade to Pages 5.2. The Pages 5.2 page in the App store says "installed" nor can I find a "purchase" or "install" button. How do I get Pages 5.2?

If you have already updated to Pages 5.2 on your Mac, you may be trying to open the file with a previous version of Pages. If this is the case, you have two versions of Pages on your Mac & are trying to open Pages 5 documents with Pages 4. Are you launching Pages from an icon in your Dock? Installing the update does not change the Dock icons & it does not remove the older versions. Go to your Applications folder & launch the new Pages from there then right-click on the Dock icon & select Options > Keep in Dock.
Installing new versions of iWork has never replaced existing versions. This is nothing new. The only thing new is that the '09 apps are moved to an iWork '09 folder if they were purchased from the Mac App Store. If they were installed from disk they should already be in a separate folder in Applications.

Try a reset: Simultaneously hold down the Home and On buttons until the device shuts down. Ignore the off slider if it appears. Once shut down is complete, if it doesn't restart on it own, turn the device back on using the On button. In some cases it also helps to double click the Home button and close all apps from the tray before doing the reset.
You might also consider deleting and reinstalling the programs.
PS: For future reference, posting the crash report is not particularly useful.

    please help

Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad. Click Utilities, then Console in the icon grid.
Make sure the title of the Console window is All Messages. If it isn't, select All Messages from the SYSTEM LOG QUERIES menu on the left. If you don't see that menu, select
    View ▹ Show Log List
    from the menu bar.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try the action that you're having trouble with again. Select any messages that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard (command-C). Paste into a reply to this message (command-V).
When posting a log extract, be selective. In most cases, a few dozen lines are more than enough.
Please do not indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Important: Some private information, such as your name, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

  • I can not open PDF files in safari

I can not open PDF files in safari. How can I fix this problem?

    Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

  • Can not open flex application in IE

    Dears,
I met a problem as below.
I login a pc client which restricted to access D drive (no read permission) and can not access internet as well.
But, it is able to access the intranet servers.
However, I found that I can not open the flex application deployed in the intranet server by IE.
I tried to open the flex application in Firefox, it is no problem.
I do not know what's the constraint configued in IE by our windows administrator.
I just know the IE's temporary files is configured to D:\Documents and Settings\pschung\...., and I have no D drive read permisson.
Will flex application need to be downloaded to local drive?
And since I have no read permission of D drive, so it is failed to download the application?
Is there any settings I can set? Therefore I can successfully open the flex application in the intranet by IE.
Really thanks for your help in advance.

Today, I have a new test result that the user account is allowed to access internet, but still can not access D drive.
The user can not change the IE's internet temporary files location.
I can not open the flex application from yahoo server.
Is there any method to execute flex application without temporary files support?
    Thank you very much.

    Hi,
You mentioned you tried some steps but I'm not sure what they are, you may try my suggestion to resolve this issue, follow these steps:
    Click Start, right-click Computer, click
Properties, and then click Advanced system settings.
On the Advanced tab, click Environment Variables.
Locate and select the __COMPAT_LAYER variable, and then click Edit.
Set the value of the __COMPAT_LAYER variable to EnableThemes. Or, delete the __COMPAT_LAYER variable.
If the issue persists, we can troubleshoot this problem in Clean Boot to determine whether background programs are interfering with PowerPoint:
