That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

Ok, well I found it quickly without really finding the source of the problem. I created my account here in order to post this problem, and when I received the account confirmation email to activate my account, clicking the hotlink opened a browser window WITHOUT the address! So I restarted firefox and lo and behold, I could confirm my account via the hotlink and dvd@ccess now works, even in the dvd studio pro simulator. Why this bug appeared remains to be answered. Hi, I use typicall Word formatting...nothing special, like Arial 10. I have not tried this is safe mode. Should I have to?

PDF files are extremely reliable. You may have a software issue. I have the problem on 2 identical systems with the exact same specs. The problem occurs at the same exact interval. It may be a windows update. We have had to re-install software form the DVD in each instance. This fixes it for awhile and then it recoccurs. Adobe acts as if they have never heard of the problem...imagine that. I'm the only one with th problem.
This is happens with CS6 volume lic product.
If you dont own Adobe product it will be even more difficult to find and answer as the reader is used my so many people.
We know we have the problem again when we double click opn a PDF and nothing happens. SOme have reported that reloading does not fix the problem.
Wish I could help you. I am looking for answers to this issue right now and phone support is a 30 minute wait.
Very frustrating.

Why does opening some links in Firefox causes a "Server Error in '/' Application Runtime Error" but not in "Internet Explorer"?

When I click on some links in an email (and Firefox is the default browser) I get the following error:
Server Error in '/' Application.
Runtime Error
Description: An exception occurred while processing your request. Additionally, another exception occurred while executing the custom error page for the first exception. The request has been terminated.
If, however, I click the same links (and Internet Explorer is the default browser) I do not get any error and the proper content of the link is displayed.
What is causing this error? As I prefer Firefox, how can this problem be fixed?

When you look at the address in the address bar, does it seem to match up with the email?
Sounds like Firefox sent the server something it wasn't expecting. Sometimes this can be caused by obsolete or corrupted cookies -- assuming you have visited the site before. It also might be caused by modifications to standard information sent to servers such as the "user agent" string that specifies your browser version and OS.
To clear a site's cookies, while viewing a page on the site, either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* (menu bar) Tools > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

You are not on Mountain Lion anymore, right? You are on Mavericks and have downloaded Pages 5 and then created docuemnts in it which can't be opened in Pages 09.
No, you don't have to buy a newer Pages but you have to be particular about which version you use.
