Can not print. Error message "no pages selected"

Help, my computer upgraded to the latest adobe reader, and now it wont print. When I go to print I get the message "unable to print because no pages were selected" I have read some things on here that said to uncheck the secure printing. I have done that and still get the same message. Any help will be appreciated

I called HP and after being on the phone for 1 1/2 hrs They reinstalled my printer and I printed an alignment page without then I tried to print arouble I was also able to scan a page to HP. When I tried to print something from my email it barely printed 2 faded lines and that was it I openrd my word documents and was able to print a clear copy. HP told me my cartrige was empty so I changed my cartridge with no results it was the same. I use refill CATRIDGES AND NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS but they told me they can ruin a printer. I told them I would purchease new HP cartridges and they we agreed they would call me back on Monday to determine if my problems were solved with the new cartridges. What I don't understand is how I can print documents but not emails. HELP

Photoshop not printing: error message

I am having serious trouble, I would label it an impossibility, printing in Photoshop CS6 (and Photoshop CC, I tried both) When I select print, I get an instant error message:
"There was an error opening your printer. Printing functions will not be available until you have selected a printer and reopened any documents."
I am running Mac OSX10.9.3. I have done a de-install and re-install. I have also re-installed the printer drivers. I have no difficulty printing through InDesign or any other programs. No matter what printer I try (I have three to use) Photoshop will not print.
Mysteriously, I had no trouble printing this time yesterday, and have not changed my hardware or external software since. The problem is with Photoshop. Thank you (anyone!) for your help.

I have the same problem, so my slow work around is this: Save as PDF and print from either Preview or Adobe Reader which both work fine (suggesting that Photoshop might be the issue).
NB, the fault occurs on both CC and CC 2014.
Can't seem to find any info on the fix or work-around so any help would be appreciated.

Booklet Duplex Printing: Error msg: No pages selected to print

After solving the problem regarding duplex printing where the backpages were printed upside down, I´m stuck in another problem.
I use Macbook Pro, Snow Leopard OSX.
I´m trying to print a huge document, 669 pages, so I know I must divide it into groupings of smalled booklets, so I select the pages to print in print range:
2 - 41
the preview composite is then updated and it now shows 1/20.
In Page Handling Area I now have 1 to 10 sheets
After everything is set and everything looks good I hit enter, to start printing.
No later than that I get the first of 2 error messages from Adobe Acrobat:
The document could not be printed
followed by:
There were no pages selected to print
Whats wrong?

I´ve tried printing as image from advanced settings and it worked.

now i have a badi problem.
I use t-code migo to post a purchase oder to complete goods receipt.
I need to control the stock when user click the 'post' button, then maybe I WILL give a error message and then stop the migo program.
for example, i wirte the code 'show message e398(00) with 'error message'' in the badi implementation ZMB_DOCUMENT_BADI,method 'MB_DOCUMENT_BEFORE_UPDATE' and active it. it will come to a runtime error 'MESSAGE_TYPE_X'.
I debug the programe I found when the progamm come to
'show message e398(00) with 'error message'' ,next it will return sy-subrc = 4.
if I MODIFY the e398(00) with i398(00) then it will be OK
but I can not stop the program migo.

Try using the BADI "MB_MIGO_BADI" it has an POST_DOCUMENT where you can do the validations.

Can not start - error message not enough storage

This morning - when I push the start button there is an error message - Not enough storage ..... But the close abd settings button will not work. The bottom slider button will not work. I cannot shutdown to restart either

Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears

Can not print more than 32767 pages

We have develop an application using vb.net 2005 using Crystal Reports for .Net that is used to print returns with very large amount of pages. For some reason when the program generates a report with more that 32767 pages it displays ok in the ReportViewer but whe you try to print all the pages it just sends an error. I try using the PrintToPrinter method of the ReportDocument and it does the same thing, once I specify in the parameters to print a page greater than 32767 it just does not do it.
I don't know if it has to do with the fact that a small integer or Short data type (int16) has a max value of 32767, but the specifications of the paramaters of the function PrintToPrinter are set as Integer not as Short...Help please!!!

I can not print a pdf file that was sent in an email. I get an adobe error message that it can not print with an ok to check and when i do I get another adobe error message that says I did not select a page to print. I have downloaded the latest adobe download. I forwarded the email to my husband and he printed the document just fine.

This first question which comes to mind is how do you display the pdf file in the browser?
For this the browser uses a plug in (e.g. adobe reader) which already has the ability to print the pdf file. Depending on the version of your plug in, printing is started differently.

J4550 error message "Alignmnet page not detected" -alignment page prints ok

j4550 Printer will not align. Alignment page prints correctly (per HP website), but scanning page gives an error message "Alignment page not found". Printer copies fine. Default alignment results in blurred printing.

Hello , Welcome to the thread! I understand that your HP Officejet Pro 8500 All-in-One A909a Printer is experiencing Printhead and Alignment failures. Because you have already replaced both the Cyan and Magenta Printhead (twice) and Black and Yellow Printhead in the past and the issues continue to occur over time I believe that the Printhead sensor or print system within the actual printer is going. Should this occur then print system issues, such as Alignment, Printhead, cartridge, quality, etc issues will occur and will usually become worse over time. 1. When I move the "sound on/off" button, I get it buzzing 10 times before the setting is changed and I can do anything else, just not reacting to the round button on screen touches.
2. Impossible to copy text from most websites into notes.
3. Impossible to delete an email account in settings.
4. Uses up the battery twice as fast as before. I have "update apps" setting turned off, just reading a couple of mails, making a couple of photos and open maps apps twice a day, and the battery is dead well before the evening.
5. Got extremely slow, and it was getting slower and slower with every system update.
I'm sure I forgot something... But well, that already a lot.

Well, actually number 3 in my list is not true any more, I just tried to delete my account 15 times, then I've written my post, then half an hour later my Settings finally updated my accounts list. Whohoo

New preview function for iPad–error message "Multiple page sizes not supported"

When I try to use the new preview function with my iPad I get the error message "Multiple page sizes within a layout are not supported". I have a page that is 768 x 1296. I would really like to preview this folio before publishing. Any suggestions?

If you're trying to create an article that scrolls vertically, you can create a 768x1296 article in a 1024x768 folio, but you need to select a Smooth Scrolling option when you create or import the article, or in the Article Properties dialog box.

I understand that since upgrading your Mac OS X 10.10 computer to Mac OS X 10.10.4 you have been unable to print colour photos wirelessly from your HP Officejet 5740 e-All-in-One Printer. I would like to assist you today with resolving this colour printing issue. To be honest, it does sound like Mac may have loaded the generic Apple Airprint driver on your printer rather then the HP Full Feature Software and Driver package. Should this be the case then you will only have basic print capabilities. Please follow the steps below to confirm that your HP Officejet is utilising the correct driver on your Mac.
1. Click the Apple menu, and then click System Preferences. 2. Click Print & Scan, and then check if the name of your printer displays in the Printers list. 3. Click the name of your printer, click the minus sign (), and then delete the printer.  4. Click the plus sign (), click Add Printer or Scanner, click the name of your printer, 5. Click the Use or Print Using box, and then select the name of your printer in the pop-up menu. Ensure that the Officejet driver is selected and not the Airprint driver.
  6. Click Add to add the printer to the list.  Once your printer has been installed with the correct HP driver, please test printing a colour photo to confirm that the issue has been resolved. How can I print emails? Printing Error message that no printers are installed. (Printers are installed.)

When I click File > Print, I get a Printing Error message that no printers are installed. Printers are installed. When I click Yes to install a new printer, I receive a new error message that "Windows can't open Add Printer / The local print spooler service is not running. Please restart the spooler or restart the machine." I updated to the new version of Thunderbird 24.6.0. Using Windows 8. I restarted the machine. I confirmed printers are installed using Control Panel. I do not see any way to restart a print spooler. How can I fix this? Thanks.

The print spooler is a windows service and is required to print. I would hazard a guess you can not print with any application.
What I am saying is I think your windows instalation has a problem, not Thunderbird.
