Can not print to my HP officejet 6500 printer. Have to use internet explorer to print documents that are sent

with Firefox as my default browser, can not print documents. Have to change to internet explorer to print.

I see you're having issues regarding your print output.  I'd like to help! Although you've performed steps similar to a power reset, I'd recommend running these steps before working with the steps found in the document.  I would recommend removing the ink cartridges from the printer, and perform a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar. I would also suggest following the steps in this document on Fixing Print Quality Problems for the HP Officejet 6810 and Officejet Pro 6830 e-All-in-One Printer Series. Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps.   • Opened up Firefox this morning and can't open a single website....have to use Internet Explorer (oh the shame). I tried reinstalling firefox and restarting my computer. Don't know what else to do or why I can't get any internet on Firefox.

    It is always a good idea to back up your bookmarks, if you are able to do that now it may help, and if you are considering using them in an alternative browser it may be a good idea to back them up as HTML as well as the default .json files.

    Have you read the articles shown in my first message above with the blue clickable links. One of the first things to try is using Firefox in firefox [[safe mode]] which should be available from your program list, BUT when trying that on the first dialogue do not make changes just click on continue.

    I've been having this problem for weeks and have found no solution to it. There are lots of other people with this issue too if you look back on the boards. I even e-mailed AND called Apple and have had no luck. I tried all the suggestions they gave me and all the ones I found on here- nothing worked. I even uninstalled and re-installed iTunes (boy was that a pain!) and no difference.
    The weird part is that I have an old laptop that works and if I buy music with the laptop I can download it with my regular computer buy buying does not work on my regular computer. That tells me it's not a connection issue. I can't get to my account either.
    I can't figure out why an issue that has kept so many people from purchasing a product has been ignored!

When I try to download any alternate browser, all I get is another warning that the alternate is "not compatible with your operating system." Is Firefox preventing this? The site listed below is a job application site. I've had this same problem with other job application sites also.

    There should be a User Agent Switcher menu item under Tools, which gives you the browser names you can impersonate.
    The menu item name changes to the browser UA you are presently using.
    There is also a User Agent Switcher button, you can add it using View -> Toolbars -> Customize, and dragging the button to your toolbar.

    You can just start trying IE versions (or the versions it says on the site) until it lets you in.

    I have just opened a new account with the Post Office but I am unable to access this on the net. Telephoned Customer Services but say that I will not be able to access through Firefox and will have to use Internet Explorer.     I doubt if Firefox is blocking access. More than likely, that website is made to use ActiveX, or other proprietary Microsoft code, that only Internet Explorer can handle.
    If you post the address of that "Post Office" website, maybe one of us support helpers can figure out the exact reason for that.

    You may have zoomed the page by accident with Ctrl and the mouse scroll wheel.
    Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.

    You should make default printer in remote pc.
    first in server pc write this syntax in run command
    Remote PC IP
    press enter.
    You find share folder and shared printer on Remote PC IP
    After that select printer and make default it. now whenever you will print from Server PC it will print on  Remote PC.

    On the page where you enter username and password after entering and pressing "Log in" the page just stays in place. If you look at the error log you see

    Make sure that you do not block the referrer.

    Hi--I tried your suggestion and no dice. A window came up with the following:The item 'Firefox.exe' that has this shortcut will no longer work properly. Do you want to delete?
    Another window said 'C:Program files (x86) Mozilla Firefox\firefox.exe' specified in the target box is not valid. Make sure the path and file name are correct.
    I have no clue as to what that means. I did delete the shortcut.
    Finally went into our Kaspersky virus protection and found Firefox is in quarantine and that is probably why I am unable to uninstall and reinstall.
    Any ideas????

  • Can Not Print Document -- Prints in Foxit

    I have several Acrobat documents that were e-mailed to me.  Most of them have no problems printing, but those with signatures will Not print in Acrobat Reader XI or Acrobat Pro 9.  Trying to print to a local printer, network printer, or PDF all result in the message "The document could not be printed. -- There were no pages selected to print".  It doesn't matter if I select one page or all, if I try to print to an image, trying to print from other computers, etc.
    Looking on Google I can see that this problem has been reported more than Five years ago and people still see no resolution.
    The only solution I have found is to print them with Foxit Reader which is not the optimal solution.
    Why is this still a problem?

    I have HP PAVILION N278SA model laptop and I have HP F4100 series all in one printer and using many years. I was printing some documents. I printed off one document from one of my email . Then when I clicked other email and wanted to print other document which was not attached file.  My laptop gave 'printer is off line' sign, since then I tried many word documents from my laptop or other email documents but I could not print off any of documents. When I want to scan a document, the printer let me scan the document. The scanning is not problem. My printer connected to my laptop via usb cable and also plugged in via cable on wall. I switched off printer few times and disconnected from my laptop around 30 seconds but it did not work. 
    I also went to 'devices and printers then click default printer which is F4100 series then open printer window.Then I went to 'what is printing' part then click print and start but did not work either. the printer does not print test page

    Try following the tool below by selecting Fix Printing and check if that may rewsolve the problem:

    If that doesn't help, power off the printer and reboot your PC.
    Next open Devices and Printers and select See what's printing for the printer.
    From the Printer menu click on Cancel All Documents and ensure the print queue is clear, then turn the printer on again and try printing.

  • Printing from internet source too small to read. Have to use Internet Explorer to print.

    When using the Firefox browser, printing from an internet source, print font is too small to be readable. Can go to Internet Explorer to print from an internet source and the size of the printed font is readable.

    In Preview>Preferences>PDF tab, is Greeking Threshold ste, and/or Anti-Alias text & Line art? Images Tab... Actual size, Respect DPI?
    If you want to Print better Rez, dont print from Safari, but download it, load it in Preview, don't save it, it'll go to 72-150 DPI, just Print from there... any diff?
    To save PDFs in better resolution from Preview, try these Quartz Filters courtesy Jerome Colas...

    I uninstalled Firfox and after I reinstalled the program Facebook works. I can use hotmail thru Internet Explorer but I wouild rather have Firefox work.

    Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
