Can not recive message nokia n73 ( Very Urgent )

i have nokia n73 , i am facing this problem "sometimes" when someone send me a message , i will recive it after long time (in one case i recive it after 10 hours and now soemone send me a message from about 1.5 hour but i did not recive it yet), even the status report in the sender will be that the message is delivered succsfully to me .
there is no problem if i send a message to them.

Damn... I am getting almost the same problem as well on my E61.
For my case it can be temporary fixed by a Firmware upgrade or overwrite.
But of course it comes back after a few days which gets very irriating... The people at the Care Center was not able to find anything when I was there... will see what they say tomorrow when I go back yet again...

One contact can not recive my texts.

One contact can not recive my texts, he has a Samsung Galaxy s3 with AT&T and I have an Iphone 5s with Verizon and IOS8. Other people with the iphone 5s, verizon and IOS8 can text him and he will reccive theirs. Why can he not recive mine? We both can still call each other and he can text me and I reccive them. The texts I send him never come back and say not delivered so I am assuming they are getting lost somewhere. Is this an AT&T problem or Verizon, also how can I fix this? I need a quick fix!!

You said that your iPhone is saying "Not Delivered" which means that for some reason your iPhone is trying to text him via the iMessage system as that is the only time that you'll get a "Not Delivered" "Delivered" or "Read" message sent back underneath the text that you recently sent. I also noticed that you said that your friend is using GS3. So if I'm thinking correctly, your iPhone think that your friend is using an iPhone as well. If you go into your settings and turn off iMessage then every text will be sent as SMS over the cell tower...then he should start receiving them. This is only a temporary fix unless you don't care to use the iMessage service anyway. Hope this sheds some light...

Can not start Messaging server in Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1

I installed Sun Java System Messaging Server 6 2005Q1 from Solaris 10 DVD on Solaris 10.
After the installation, I got directory server, admin server running but messaging server not running. I can not start Messaging server (start smtp, http, pop, imap). I found in directory which I installed messaging server but I could not see script "start-msg" and "stop-msg".

Reasons why a phone cannot update:
1. It is a country variant - country variants often get the updates later, or have updates skipped altogether. A Turkish country variant product code for example, skipped v40 and updated from v31 straight to v50.
2. It is network branded - phones acquired from network providers or these providers' stores SIM free are branded, and will not get updates until the networks approve and modify the updates to their liking.
3. Special editions - These special editions are chartered editions and may never get updates unless taken to a Nokia Care center.

Map Trash disappeared completely out of my account in TB. I can not delete messages anymore in Inbox. I created a submap in Inbox. Can not delete that either.

On my daughters iPad mini she can not send messages. She can receive them but the send button stays light gray after you type a message. It worked when we first set it up but now it does not. Tried resetting and logging out and back in. With no change.

Thank you for the details of the issue your daughter is experiencing with sending messages on the iPad. It sounds like you might have the Subject Field turned on. To disable this go to Settings > Messages > Show Subject Field.

yes you are correct in all the above points...
as the third one is referring to data element directly the refer check box is not coming...
to maintain your own text for the other two..you have to uncheck that....
you can also use Go->Translation to maintain text in other languages instead of SE63...

Check Settings>General>Date & Time>Set Automatically>On. Make sure that the time zone setting is also set correctly.

Can not delete messages

I can not delete messages from the inbox or the junk box. I can not drag messages to the trash box. I have downloaded and reinstalled Thunderbird but still does not work. All other functions seem to work.
It is possible to move messages from the inbox to the junk box but can not delete them from their.

Thanks for your help and suggestion. This fix did not work. I can now move messages to the junk folder then using right click, empty junk the messages are deleted. They do not go to the trash folder however. I guess this work around will work but its not the way it should be.
