Can not send photo from inside iphoto.

I can not send a photo from within iphoto'11. I follow all the steps. It shows my me.com mail address and starts sending but then I get the messate that the server maybe down and try again later. I've tried the smallest version of the photo. So what can be wrong.
This is a MacBook that is partially enabled into the icloud.
Any ideas?

Well actually it isn't the server. I finally discovered if I changed my iPhoto >Perferences> General> Email photos using: "from iPhoto to Mail". I don't know why I can't use the perference "iPhoto" but it won't work.

I recently got me a new MacBook and thus dumped my old one at my parents.
They also have an iPad 3 and I configured their MacBook on Mountain Lion to work with their iPad.
I have a bunch of pictures in my iPhoto library that I want to make available to them. Ideally I would send them an entire album and it would magically appear on their iPad.
In lieu of that it would be nice if that album would just appear in their iPhoto account. Is there an easy way to do it?

If you've used iWeb at all you could get yourself a website and create iWeb album or photo pages with the option to download the photos. These two demo pages are examples of those iWeb pages. The secons has the download option activated (just click on one of the thumbnails): Using an iWeb Album Page as an Alternative to MobileMe Galleries and Using an iWeb Photo Page as an Alternate to a MobileMe Gallery.

You could also restrict access to those webpages thru the hosting service with passwords and usernames if so desired. The webpage could be access by any computer or mobile device.

It's only difficult if you get all emotional over tiny things and don't stop to look for answers first. I find Macs very simple to use.

YES Terence! Thank you. Exporting allowed me to move my photos from iPhoto into the Burn Folder on my desktop. But that doesn't explain why I'm having to go that route now. Have I done something (accidentally changed some setting) on my computer that will not allow me to just click and drag anymore? I really liked the convenience of the click and drag option.
I don't have the time tonight to export and burn a lot of CD/DVDs. I'll try that tomorrow and make sure my photos are moving properly. I also need to export photos to my external hard drive to make sure that route is working.
Wouldn't you know that my Apple Care Plan runs out this Wednesday?! I need to make sure everything is working properly before that expires.

I still can not send email from my .mac account or a .comcast.net from my ipad. I how 2 people so far that has brought to my attention. We have exchange accounts setup on the ipads for work. I compare the settings from iPad to iPhone from my view it appears identical. I am looking at an iPad 2 and a Mini.
I turned on and off the ipads and nothing really changed. The emails come into those accounts.
Any suggestions?

When you say you can't send...as in they never get the email? Does the email appear to send? Error message? When?

I have a 1st gen iPhone that I just updated the software to 2.0.2
Now whenever I press the mail icon it goes to the mail app for about 4 seconds, does nothing, no loading of folders, old messages, nothing.
Then it reverts back to the home screen. Tried restarting, haven't tried restoring, thought I'd look here first.

2. What version of the iOS are you running (Settings > About)?
3. Do you use MobileMe/ iCloud or another server based sync solution like Google or Yahoo?
4. Do other changes to synced information like Address Book content sync successfully back and forth?
Based on your description it sounds like you have a 1 way sync issue. Events sync fine between the iOS devices and fine from the computer to the iOS devices but not from the iOS devices to the computer.
Try:
Backup your computer and iOS devices before doing anything else:

Delete them the same way you put them there. The sync process. Deselectg the album in itunes and sync.
Photo Album contains ALL synced photos and you can also view those exact same photos, not duplicates, from the albums.

Lightroom doesn't use the Camera Raw plug-in. So downloading the latest Camera Raw didn't do anything at all for you. The only way to update or upgrade Lightroom is to obtain the latest version. If you have Lightroom 4 then the last version of Lightroom you can have at no additional cost is Lightroom 4.4.1. If the camera you are using requires anything newer than what is supported and that version of Lightroom then it will require an upgrade to Lightroom 5.

Dear Jillbuli, exactly like this i m doing. do i understant correct that this is a standart way to synchronise pfotos via iTunes??? the problem that it looks like my iTunes try to synchronise folders (all of of them or just few of them, i tryied both way) but on the step 4 its just stops. step 4 from all 8 steps. and looks like computer. just finished but iphone is still without synchronised photos. the same with music. i tried to put music on it. it doesn work
