I can send pictures to other iphones via imessage but can not send it to other phones. It trys to send but gets about 3/4 of the way and then the red ! shows up. Please help...

Is this on wifi or cellular data?
Have you tried a reset? Hold down the home/power button until you see the apple logo and then release, then wait for the phone to boot back up.
Have you gone into the email settings and making sure the password are still there?

Safari doesn't support the attaching/uploading of files. If you want to send documents or photos that you have stored on the iPad then you can use the Mail app - if you've set up your email account on it, then you should be able to start in the app that contains the document, and then use that app's functionality to select the document and attach it to an email e.g. in the Photos app you can use the icon of the box with the arrow coming out of it to select and email a picture

Yeah if you plug your device in to iTunes and back-up all your data. For Apple help & support on backing up Click Here.
Once it's all backed if you go into Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings this will then take you to the initial set-up.
To save you having to call you can register your replacement SIM Here.

My IPhone 4s can not receive or send picture messages from non Iphones. Also, I do not receive group text if there is someone in the group that does not have an IPhone. thanks for the help in advance.

First lets reset your network settings. For directions on how to reset your network settings click http://vz.to/19OMzKU . I also noticed you mention you have no problems sending pictures to iPhones. You cannot text a picture on the iPhone
However you can email one to a MMS compatible phone if you know the service provider for the specific phone number . If you know it then you email the picture to one of this addresses(just match the service provider)

You might want to contact your carrier to confirm that your account is correctly provisioned for MMS messaging.

Try creating a new folder on your desktop.
Put a couple of pictures in that folder.
Now connect the iphone and st the iphone to sync photos from that folder only.

I've opened up a enhancement request with Apple. Photos is not ready for prime time in my opinion. I've tried to work around this issue by trying to attach a photo in Outlook, but the Photos media browser (which worked fine with iPhoto) does not work at all, either. Both of these features work fine when you're using Apple's Mail application. So it's either Microsoft doesn't support the new Photos, or Apple doesn't support Outlook.

Now whenever I press the mail icon it goes to the mail app for about 4 seconds, does nothing, no loading of folders, old messages, nothing.
Then it reverts back to the home screen. Tried restarting, haven't tried restoring, thought I'd look here first.

I can receive emails containing pictures but can not send pictures from my computer.

I have gone into my pictures on my computer and right clicked then picked send to, choose mail receipent and then choose picture size as smaller. It looks like it is going to go through to the email so that I can add an email address but nothing happens.
Please help

Try to compose the message in Thunderbird and then add the picture as an attachment.
