Can not set up print option to print multiple pages in interactive pdf document

I have created a multipage document --- acutally it is set up as two layers with one layer that is hidden and an interactive button can be pressed to view it.  I want it to  so both pages print, and I am unsure how to do this  I am working in acrobat 8 on a mac

You need a scripting solution. Please try the Acrobat Scripting forum.

  • How do I scan multiple pages into one pdf document on a HP Envy 4501 Printer

My HP Envy 4501 Printer won't let me scan multiple pages into one pdf document.
I went to "Advanced Settings", clicked on "file" and made sure that the check box next to "Create a separate file for each scanner page" was unchecked.
When I clicked the Save button it showed the page that I scanned and showed 1/1.  On the right side it had options for changing the brightness and Contrast, Rotate and Crop and "Back", "Save" and "Done" buttons, but nothing about scanning another page.
Not to mention HP's Customer Support is useless!
I'd appreciate any help I can get with this problem.
    Thanks,
    Mark

    Hi BH,
I see your diagram.  I just scanned something.  The screen that I'm looking at right now shows the preview page and the scroll box to the left of that just like in your diagram.  The screen does not show the + button nor does it show the red x button under the scroll box as in your diagram.  I can't see the plus sign because it is not there.
I tried re-installing the software and drivers as you suggested but that did not have any affect.
Thank you for trying to help me with this problem but it hasn't worked, therefore I can't mark the reply "Accept as Solution".
I've noticed that on HP's support forum web page there is only 1 solved request for assistance.  That doesn't give me much confidence in HP.
Please reply back to this post to let me know if there is anything else that I can try or if you know someone else at HP that can help.
If I don't here back from you, I'm returning this HP Envy 4501 Printer to get my money back to use it to buy a printer from one of HP's competitors.
    Thanks,
    Mark

  • How can I change the format of some of the pages of a PDF-document?

I use Adobe Acrobat and have a PDF-document with A4 pages and some pages of another format (half of an A4).
How can I change the format of these pages to A4 (with a lower blanc part)?

You can increase the page size with the Crop Tool of Acrobat Pro.

    Hi @darshan9 ,
I see that you are experiencing issues setting the default printer for users and you are unable to print over the network.
I would be happy to help you.
Do you mean individual computers setup with the printer over the network users or one computer with multiple users?
Do you have Admin Rights on the computer to make changes?
What is the full name and product number of your printer? How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Download and run the Print and Scan Doctor. It will diagnose the issue and might automatically resolve it. http://www.hp.com/go/tools>Using HP Diagnostic Tools for HP Printers in Windows.
I would suggest you to check if you have a different user account or from an administration account.
I would also suggest you to create a new user account and check if you are able to set the printer as default.
Create a user account. Create a user account.
If you are still having issues run the Fixit Tool. Diagnose and fix printer and printing problems automatically.
What were the results when you ran the Print and Scan Doctor? (did it print or scan, any error messages)
If there is anything else I can help you with, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!
    Thank You.

  • How can I set up a share virtual printer on my macbook to print to pdf from my iPhone 5 or iPad?

I've never had the occassion to use a virtual printer setup but I've seen where other people have when they need to print to pdf and have no printer available where they are.  So, my question is really a spin off of that type of situation, except I have a printer, I just don't want to print.  I want to save from my iPad or iPhone to my MacBook's hard drive in pdf format.  From what I've seen online, I would imagine it involves setting up a virtual printer on the MacBook that I can set up as a shared printer, but there are so many conflicting responses on setting up a virtual printer and most of them are for older.  Does anyone have any experience with setting up a similar virtual printer in Maverick?
For completeness, I'll add system info:
MackBook 5.2 Core 2 Duo 2 GHz upgraded with 4 GB DDR2 RAM and Maverick OS
Obviously the virtual printer needs to support iPrint.

If I can not set up a second Contacts folder, does anybody have an alternative way of having contact information that a person could see the information from an Outlook Format available for viewing?

    Hi,
From the application being used to print, Click File > Print
Click Properties or Preferences to access the Printing Preferences Dialog.
Click the Advanced button at the bottom of the window.
Under Printer Features, Click the Print as Grayscale selection box and set as High Quality Grayscale or Black Ink Only.

  • How can I set up my iPad to print to my Kodak ESP 7250 wifi printer

How can I set up my iPad to print to my Kodak ESP 7250 wifi printer

Kodak has a firmware upgrade to allow a version of air printing via a third party service, google docs I think. You can e-mail documents to your printer, or you can set up a hardwired printer as a local print server and send them to that.
Or you can look into an app. I have that same model of printer and use Print n Share and it works fine...slow but fine. I didn't go for the firmware cloud printing simply because I didn't want yet another online account.

  • Can not set time and date fax setting on officejet 4620

Can not set the time and date on Officejet 4620 when faxing.  There are no setup options available.  The log always shows "Jan 00  00:00 AM".

The time and date setting should be under the setup tools or fax setting in the printer control panel.1. Click the wrench icon on the control panel of the printer.
    2. Scroll to Tools.
    3. Scroll to Time and date.

  • About 2 weeks ago, not able to print all pages in a .pdf document using internet explorer 11?

About 2 weeks ago, not able to print all pages in a .pdf document stored in a folder (I'm using Windows 7)?
It only prints 1 page then my Brother MFC-J4510DW Printer says "Please put another piece of paper in the feed slot"....the problem is the print setting is set to "manual mode" in Windows 7 rather than "general setting".  If you try to change the setting to "general", it will not accept the change.

    Hi.
I did try using the printParams feature and it worked, but since I need to be able to print sets of non-consecutive pages,  I end up having to bring up the print dialogue multiple times and have the user set watermarks each time.
I decided to just create a new pdf in a temp directory containing the selected pages and open this document in a new window.  This works well and allows them to use the print button on the window to print, bringing up the print dialogue just once.  However, since I need to open the document in a way that shows the print button, I am using OpenInWindowEx, with AV_DOC_VIEW, and the option PDUseBookmarks or PDUseThumbs, rather than PDUseNone.  This displays a toolbar which also includes icons for creating a new pdf, deleting pages, etc.  I do not really want to include these icons on the toolbar.  Is there a way to remove unwanted icons from the toolbar, or make them invisible?
Hope this makes sense.  Thanks for your help.
    Mary

  • Controlling print options esp. fit to page

is there a way to control print options, particularly fit to page, from within the PDF itself?
We provide print ready files for our clients who print them as needed, but they are brochures that are set up for fit to page OFF, otherwise the white border (because it can't bleed) around it is uneven.
So they would send the file to our print shop and the printer would automatically print it with this option off, based on the pdf settings for that document.

Go to Properties (Crtl+D) and the advanced tab, you can set the print porperties that will come up by default there, it is still possible to over ride them though.

  • I can not set up my officejet 4500 with windows 8

    I NEED HELP
I can not set up my officejet 4500 with windows 8
I put disk in but no good

You  can get the software from your printer's website:
    Start at
    HP 4500 officejet
Select your exact model, put in your Operating System...
You are looking for the Product Installation Software -- the Full Feature Software for your OS
Download the package, it may be large..
Then install it... Reboot your computer after the installation.
    That may do it!
    Good Luck!
    Kind Regards,
    Dragon-Fur

  • Is it possible to give each page within one pdf document a specific set of print settings?

I have a complex document (catalogue) that requires printing. There are several different printer settings required and each one is specific to each page within the document. For instance pg 1 is single sided in colour, page 2-3 is duplexed in b&w, page 3-8 is duplexed in colour, etc.... Is it possible to give each page within the pdf document a given set of print settings and then print the entire document as a whole?

    Hi jennyskop
I assume that is not feasible ...You need to give the print command again and select the respective pages and their settings !

I have the same problem...  IDK why I have an empty shutdown dialogue.  I also have a bunch of non user users appear through it's menu.
It appears the problem has to do with most Arch installs not having consolekit anymore...

When you have a problem you'll get a faster, more effective response by including as much relevant information as possible upfront. This should include:
    <li>Full APEX version
    <li>Full DB/version/edition/host OS
<li>Web server architecture (EPG, OHS or APEX listener/host OS)
    <li>Browser(s) and version(s) used
    <li>Theme
    <li>Template(s)
<li>Region/item type(s) (making particular distinction as to whether a "report" is a standard report, an interactive report, or in fact an "updateable report" (i.e. a tabular form)
It's even more essential to include full version information if you suspect a bug. Knowing the versions involved enables Oracle and other forum members to try to replicate the problem properly. It also allows us to look at the documentation or MOS bug database to compare the problem to known bugs and fixes.

is this a bug , or i am missing something?Confirmed as appearing in ARP (DML) processes in APEX 4.2.1.00.08. This does indeed appear to be a bug. However it is only cosmetic. DML Fetch Mode is an ARF (fetch) process option that is deprecated in APEX 4.x. Setting it for ARP (DML) processes is unnecessary, so you can safely ignore it.
The appearance of the radio group in ARF processes is subject to a bug in APEX 4.2.0: +{message:id=10713985}+
However it should not be appearing in an ARP (DML) definition at all as it was only an option for fetch behaviour.
