Can not start $./emca, how to set the parameters??????

I have Installed Oracle 10g(10.2)(Enterprise Edition) database on HP UX 11.11.
when I try to run $ ./emca it asks me below parameters to setup.
where to set these parameters???Why its asking me so many parameters???

Hi Dashan,
it depends or in other words what is management server for you? There's a change from 9i to 10g. In 10g we have dbconsole dedicated to one specific database or gridcontrol as centralized monitoring utility for many databases, application servers and so on. If it is standalone console command is 'emctl start dbconsole', this command starts the console itself and the integrated agent. For gridcontrol use 'opmnctl startall' to start all necessary services, these are many as 'opmnctl status' shows.

Thanks, This caused me to go back and try again since the solution seemed so simple. What I did was when it started downloading, it started with the iphones apps to my computer. Did you try to wait a bit longer before restarting Firefox to give Firefox more time to close down completely?

HT1657 A movie I rented failed to download and I was still charged. I can not figure out how to retry the download without being charged again. Any thoughts?

I rented a movie teh other night and started the download. It was taking a while so I went to bed. In the morning there was an error message and the movie did not download. I did nothing as I figured I would just try agian another day. A few days later I received my receipt by email. I had been charged even though I never got access to the movie. I tried to access the download again, but can not figure out gow to download the movie agian without being chraged. PLease help.

You could try the Store > Check For Available Downloads menu option. If that doesn't start it downloading then you will need to contact iTunes support (rentals are a one-time only download, so they will need to add it back into your queue).

We use system copy to build SAP system.

In target system, we want to use the instance profile as source system,
but after copy from source system we find that if parameter em address_space_mb = 512 in the profile,
we can not start SAP instance.
Could anyone explain it?

Hi Shirley,
I assume the hardware is less on the target than on the source or they are different at least in terms of hardware specs
If the system is not starting, check the dev_disp.log, the stderr* files, and the dev_w0 log from the work directory to find the exact error. Does the system start if you increase or decrease this value?

My 3gs screen suddenly enlarged beyond the edges of screen and I can not figure out how to set it back to normal

I have tried to figure out how to set my history to only save 2 days. I am sure that in previous version of firefox that this option was available where as in this one I don't see that. So I am either blind that I can't find it in the history option or it doesn't exist. It seems the options are remember history no limit or always to remove when closed. I want the options of setting how many days not the other two. Is there a way to do that? Thank you.

No need to crop your clips. The mask does the cropping of the upper clip.
To use the image mask, you need an image to place into the drop zone in the inspector. In your case you'd want a simple black to white gradient as the image mask and choose Luminance in the Image Mask source luminance pop-up. I'm attaching a sample gradient. The original was 1280x720 to match a 720p movie but the forum shrinks it down. This gradient was created in Photoshop in less than 30 seconds.
You import this gradient file into your event. Click on the Mask Source in the Image Mask effect and then click on the gradient file in your event list and click Apply Clip. Change the Mask Source to Luminance. Change the offset mask parameters to move where the gradient lines up in your movie.

Can not start Weblogic server after Reordering the provider

Dear Geeks
I have ran into big trouble. I defined a new authentication provider in the weblogic and set the Control Flag to 'Required'.
I didn't realise that the user weblogic doesn't exist in the AD and because of AD's naming convention, we can not create a user named as weblogic.
Since, the installation was done using the weblogic user and the authentication provider has been changed, is there a way to start the server back up.
It is too critical and i am running out of time.
I would appreciate if anyone out there could help.

Hi,
Goto Domain_home/config directory. Take one backup of config.xml, edit config.xml make Control Flag to SUFFICIENT against authentication provider that you have added. try to restart the server.

Can not find out how to set size of photos

I have iPad 1 and iPad 3 and iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S and ATV
bur I can not set the proper size for photos.
My TV-set is of course 16:9 and ATV sends photos OK to screen
but I have to resize them in iPhoto or PhotoShop.
I have also an 6 year old Canon camera and there is the possibility to take 16:9 photos (still) direct
Anyone know how to set iPhone to shoot 16:9 stills.
I do not belive Apple have missed something important as this.
Everyone must have a 16:9 TV-set today.
Perhaps anyone know about an app as does this?

Check in the Task Manager (XP: Ctrl+Alt+Del, Vista: Shift+Ctrl+ESC, Processes tab) if there are hanging Firefox processes.
If you see any ''firefox.exe'' processes then click the End button to end those Firefox processes.
You can only start Firefox in [[Safe mode]] or launch the [[Managing profiles|Profile Manager]] is all Firefox processes are ended.

My both the web services are not running simultaneously .
If I start the AddMacroTask web service then it show me the message that " Another instance is running ,OC4j will shutdown the previous version ...

Hello,
The embedded OC4J in Jdeveloper 10g can run only 1 application (EAR) at the time, this is for testing/debugging.
My guess, is your 2 web services are located in 2 different applications this is why Jdeveloper does that.
The easiest way will be to deploy one of your service in a stand alone OC4J that you have started separately, you can take the one that is distributed with Jdeveloper located in $JDEV_HOME/j2ee/home.
