Can not start the isqlplus

I am a beginner and can not open the http://homer:5560/isqlplus page ? Any solutions ? I could open it when I installed Oracle 10 on Solaris 10 - x86 system

I can see that the db is up But when I start the listener I can see the port 1521 but when I have the login screen of oracle I open the web page using : http://homer:5560/isqlplus/login.uix

I get this error message of Can not start the service "Apple Mobile Device" please verify if you have enough permission to start a service. I have tried reinstalling itunes but could not get rid of the error. I use Win 7 64bit OS. Please help me to resolve the issue

ThinkPad Twist - I can not start the bios or the start-up menu pressing Enter

Think Pad Twist i7-3537U
No matter how fast or how many times I press the enter key when starting, I can not access the start-up menu.
Immediately after the white "ThinkPad - To interrupt normal start press Enter" letters appear for just a fraction of a second on the bottom left corner, there comes the windows blue logo, and windows starts.
- The enter key is working fine (I can use it with any application)
- I am completely shutting down the laptop, not sleeping or hibernating.
- I have tried a "safe mode" start from msconfig -> same results.

Ok, I've been able to access the BIOS with the following procedure:

But this is only a temporary solution. What will happen if I can not start Windows and I need to access the Startup for recovery purposes?, or to boot from a USB device?

I have the mobile server as an module of IAS on Linux, actually I am trying to start it but is the only component of IAS that I can not start

Do you actually get that HTTP error when you try to start the mobile server. Or do you get that error when the setup executable is running ?
I feel you are mixing up things.

Can not start the cluster database using srvctl

Created a RAC database with CRS.
When i start the cluster database with srvctl, it appears that the database is started (i made sure using srvctl status), but when i try to login to the database using sqlplus, i get a message 'connected to idle instance'. if i try to start the database from sqlplus, i get message 'requested INSTANCE_NUMBER is busy!.
any thoughts why i can not connect to the database using sqlplus after i start the database using srvctl?
I stop the database using srvctl and started using traditional sqlplus, it will start with out any problem.
what am i missing?

check ur oracle_sid,also try to connect as sqlplus sys/****@prod as sysdba
may be this is due to improper setting of init.ora file.
and post ur sqlplus output here.

I can not start the repository browser

Can NOT start the dispatcher on windows NT

We installed a SAP system on NT.
However whenever we try to start the service DISPATCHER, we get the error: "process terminated unexpectedly".
There is NO other message about this.

there are no services called DISPATCHER.
please provide the exact service name you are trying to start. it should look like SAPPRD_00.
check pathname/executable of this service, this file must exist.
as a last resort, copy this executable path and past it in a Command prompt. you might get more meaningful error messages that will help you fix this.

Error 5: Access Denied can not start the DHCP Client service on Local Computer.

Ran into this error problem with both the DHCP and BFE service. Neither will start and both give me the same error code 5 access denied.
Found this little nugget below:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Dhcp
Right click and choose Permissions. There should be the following:
System = Full Control
Local Service = Read
Network Service = Read
Local Admin = Full Control
Local Users = Read
Dhcp = Read with special permissions
No problem adding the missing Local Service and Network Service. How does one add Dhcp? Is there a way to create this because under permissions there is no way to add this or search it up. Is there a NetSH reset command that will add this in for me?
The Netlogon service was not running and to get the Netlogon service going I ran NetSH int ip reset and it started to work. The other services were not running either and I was hoping they would after resetting IP
Any ideas on to fix this problem? Also, the user turned off the laptop when it was doing updates. Still I do not think it would have created this headache.

Then I checked for the listener.ora under admin dir and there is no listener.ora file there.I think,there should be that file because in my first installation of oracle 10g developer suite,I am aware of there is listener.ora and in that time ,I have some trouble connecting to the database from sql plus and can't login .So I deinstall and reinstall after that I have no listener.ora file.I hope somebody can help me out.
I have oracle 10g developersuite and oracle xe database installed.Anybody can advise me from the scratch because I am just a beginner.Thanks.
