When I try to sync new photos from my laptop to my iPod touch, it tells me " iTunes cannot sync apps to the iPod "Jesyca's iPod" beacuse the apps installed on the iPod could not be determined." I have tried restoring my iPod but it will not let me do that either. Please help me with this issue

I literally just had this problem and restarting the actual ipod fixed it. Holding down the sleep button at the top until the red slider appears will make all the difference once you turn it back on. Some of the other discussions on this topic were able to helpe me.

If all you want right now is your music, you can turn off the option to sync apps, that should help.
With your iPhone plugged in, open iTunes, and go to the page with details about your phone (on the left side of iTunes, it should be under the Devices header). When you are there, go to the top, click on the "Apps" tab (next to "Info"), then uncheck the box that says sync apps.

I upgraded to ios6 on ipod touch and after I completed a sync on my PC but I suppose it did not sync, because now it will not restore from a back up and wants to restore from another account that I have saved. Can I some how restore from the apps?

As I said, the backup that iTunes makes does not include apps (and music) if those items where not in the iTunes library on the computer on which you restored they will not be on the iPod.

On your iPad and iPod touch tap Settings > Store
Make sure Music is switched On under Automatic Downloads.
Now restart your iPad and your iPod touch.
Hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button down until the red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider to turn off iPhone. To turn iPhone back on, press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Try to reset all Skype settings. Quit Skype or use Windows Task Manager to kill any Skype.exe process. This is a cropped image - of course hungarian, because I'm hungarian, but I think many of us could see this as well. How this is possible? "The Skype can not start because the system is not available" *** What kind of system? The Skype was on a P2P system, where is impossible that the system is not available! This is why the skype was much better than the Microsoft's messenger. Then they bought it, and make it wrong...
I found a solution for this problem, this can happen if my client is not updated. But IT IS!
How does it works? Can we use the **bleep** Skype how we would like to use? Or this time we need to find an other application (like Viber), and using that while they not buying that as well, just because that is better?

Itunes could not sync because a connection could not be established to the Iphone

I have been trying to sync my 4s and I keep getting "Itunes could not sync because a connection could not be established to the Iphone"

I am also getting this error with two iPad 2s and an iPhone 5. All are on iOS 6.0.1 and this is with iTunes 11 on a Windows 7 PC. I also have an iPhone 4 that does not seem to have an issue that I can tell. When I plug in the iPhone 5 and one of the iPads, it will start to to sync and right at the end I get that message. It will, however, still continue to sync the device after the error message pops up. With the one iPad, which is rarely connected to computer, it will find the iPad via wifi when iTunes is opened, but I will get that message when it is performing its initial sync.
While I kept having sync issues when using iTunes 10.7, this is a new issue for me. I was also getting a lot of warnings that the iPhone or iPad could not be synced because the connection was lost even though the iPad and iPhone were connected via USB cable. In those cases, the sync would just abort. I have not gotten that error though in two days. At the time to resolve that issue, I needed to disconnect the USB cable, reset the iPhone/iPad, and then reconnect the USB cable.
I really wish Apple would figure out these sync issues.

Make sure you don't have Restrictions enabled under Settings/General. If it's enabled, you might need to restart your phone afterwards.

Try to reset sync history.
If you have a Windows machine, press the ALT key to bring up file, edit, view, etc. Click edit and go to preferences. Click the tab titled "devices" and then at the bottom it will say "reset sync history."
If you have a Mac it's a bit more complicated. You can find the instructions here:

If this is your first time syncing then try a different USB port.
Make sure there are no third party software conflicting your connection. (Anti-virus software, etc)
Make sure your lightning USB cable is in working condition.
Restart your computer.

I plugged my ipod touch (4 gen) into my computer to sync and charge and itunes will not sync it any more. I the the error: the ipod could not be sync because the ipod could not be found on the network. It says it backed up on 11/4/13 which was just 5 days ago, but it won't let me back up or restore now at this point. It will charge the battery but that is all. Are yo set up to sync via USB vice wifi?
Try:

- Reboot the computer
- Try another USB port and cable
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.

I seemed to have figured it out...... I hard reset my Iphone and rebooted my computer and it seemed to work. It also seemed there was a music file that was not being recognized, I just erased it and everything worked fine after that.... very strange but I am so glad I figured it out.....
