Can not turn on Nokia Lumia 520 after Microsoft up...

Hi, I've got Nokia Lumia 520 with Windows Phone 8
before yesterday Microsoft update appeared on display and wanted me to instal. So I clicked on "instal" button and after that there was "restarting..." on the display for a while and phone went off. Since that I can't turn on my phone. I tried keep it on charger for a long time, I tried take off battery for a long time, I tried to hold all buttons combinations, but my phone is still dead. Do you have some advises or there is only one option to send that to Nokia for service?

First try rebooting by ressing and holding the vol down + power button for around 10 seconds. If it works, the phone should vibrate and restart. If this does not work you could try hard resetting, instructions as per link below. Faiuling that, you will need to get it to your local Nokia Care Point.

I can not turn it on my laptop after shut it down manually

Dear Communities,
I need a help for my cause since this is the first experience I had,
I can not starting up my laptop again after I shutting down manually, by pressing the power button.

Try holding the shift key down to start in safe mode which does a file check. If you can also do a SMC and PRAM reset.

Can not turn on Nokia X3-00

I am having trouble turning on my Nokia X3-00 phone. After the Nokia logo appears, it blinks a couple times before it shuts down. I checked the battery by using it on another Nokia X3-00 phone, and it functions perfectly. I tried to access the phone via USB to computer, it keeps stating "Device driver software was not successfully installed." Could someone advice me please? Thanks

Try without the Memory Card.. Next keep the Charger connected when you switch the Phone ON..
If both these do not work..then the ONLY solution remains is to visit the Nokia Care..as it being as S40 phone, you can not Soft / Hard Reset the phone that may solve the issue..

Aside from WhatsApp, do you also get the same issue with other internet-based apps? Do you get any error message when trying to use WhatsApp? Try testing the internet connection by visiting websites using the mobile browser. We recommend using WiFi if it's available, but it's best to try more than one connection to further isolate the issue.
If a simple rebooting didn't work, you may also remove the app and redownload it from the Store. To remove it, go to the App list, and then tap and hold on WhatsApp. Once it's redownloaded from the Store, try to log into your account and chat with your friends.
If the issue continues, it's best to contact the developer to report the issue. Check this link: WhatsApp support.

Nokia Lumia 520 offline maps can not be downloaded...

I had downloaded offline maps earlier on my Nokia Lumia 520 and they worked very well. But after resetting my phone to original setings (which deleted all the previously downloaded map), I can no more use them. When I try to download offline maps, it gets stuck on 10% or something like that and then says "We can't reach maps library at the moment. Make sure flight mode is turned off and check your and mobile data or WiFi connection, then try again.".
Tring to resolve this, I had already done following things-
1. Again reset the phone
2. Soft reset the phone
3. Updated the HERE MAPS and HERE DRIVE
4. Tried downloading it from settings > Applications > maps > download maps
5. And lastly I was using WiFi for downloading and my Flight mode was off
I need this feature working on my phone at the earliest.
Please suggest a solution for this asap, NOKIA!!!

Hi, kanishkk. Glad to hear that you're now able to download your map data. Based on the information presented, the issue can be on your connection. If the same issue occurs, try to download using your cellular data to further isolate the issue.

Well if you got the Phone Pggray43 at a Local Corporate store in your Area) you should be able to return it as long as you have all the contents.! Phone, Charger and any other accessories that came with it the Box of Course.. As long as you have not went past the 14 Day return.. the store can go over what you used as in Air Time and Data..
Now if you've went past the 14 Day return you be Liable to pay a E.T.F = Early Termination Fee the fee for this is around $300 so hopefully you have not went past the 14 Day return window the Manager if Available is the one I would talk to tell them your on Social Security and you just can't afford a phone as this I'm sure they'll work with you to get something solved..

Nokia N95; can not turn on

I have the old version of N95. I was doing an update. But it turned off an can not turn on again. It vibrates when the buton is pressed but nothing happen after. Any suggestion please?

It does sound like it needs a care point visit to sort it but try a hard reset just in case.
Hard reset:
1. Switch off the phone.
2. Hold down the following three buttons: Green (the call answer button), * button, and '3' button.
3. While holding these buttons, press the power button and switch on the phone.
4. Release when the phone shows the nokia logo or shows other signs of life like the language selection screen.
If that fails to fix it try the advice offered in this post by drummer27:

If that still fails then the last option is to take the phone to a nokia care point.

Speaker problem after an update to windows 8.1 on Nokia lumia 520

After an update to 8.1 my windows phone nokia lumia 520 has encountered a problem with the speaker. I am uable to play any music neither am i able to hear any ringtone of any kind. The phone had no problem till an automatic update took place when i got connected
to an internet acces.
Can anyone let me know if this is an issue of an update or malfunctioning of the speaker without any reason.

As you tried already a reset, did you consider the Nokia Software Recovery Tool on a Windows computer as well?

Ray is correct, Windows Phone only play YouTube videos (thru YouTube clients or the mobile website, or thru YouTube videos embedded in webpages themselves).

Nokia Lumia 520 saying 'incorrect password' after ...

I downloaded the 'Mobile accessibility' app yesterday, it required a reboot and i agreed . After that i entered my password as usual but it say ' incorrect password'
I kept on trying and it said ''try again in 2 minutes'' and i did. But it said it's incorrect and i must try again in 4 minutes. I then took out the battery and put it band. And now it says '' try again in 12 312 minutes''.

You need to double-tap the numbers. So if your PIN is 1234 you need to type 11223344.

If you have tried all of the steps in this support document http://support.apple.com/kb/TS1559 and have completed all of the user troubleshooting, restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new, then make an appointment with the Apple store to have the hardware checked.

Can not turn on wireless after Windows vista install driver issue?

Hi all,
Not sure if this is the right place for the post, if not I apologies in advance.
I have a Compaq Presario C700 (C730EM) on which the hard drive died on me, I brought a new one and installed Windows vista premium from disk (not a backup / recovery disk).
All seems fine however I can not turn on the wireless, the C700 has a wireless button on the top left hard side (which has a red LED when not on). Normally you push this and it turns on (turns LED Blue) but nothing!
I have commented wired and updated windows etc. and have tired to find wireless driver which I guess I’m missing? Not sure if it’s wireless driver missing or a keyboard driver?
After installing a few drivers which I thought where right no joy!
Can anyone help?
