Can not uninstall any application

Hi All
I have a n81 phone, which has a weird problem. I had DivX Player installed on the phone, which prompted for a new version installation of itself, so I had to get the new version and install it. The problem is that the new version can not be installed, since the previous version is already on the phone, and when I go to the Application Manager, There is no DivX Player installed. In fact, There used to be around 20 or 30 applications and phone's itself applications and plugins installed and shown in the Application Manager, but now, only 2 are shown... I can not understand what has happenned, no error messages shown till now on the phone, so I can find out what's going on. When I want to delete a game from the N-Gage, this message is shown: 'Could not delete game. (Error -2)'
If anyone has solved this problem, please tell me how to fix this.

Hi All
I finally got around the problem. I hard reseted the phone, so that all unclean logs of application installs were deleted. Not my own files on my 8Gb memory, but only all the error full configurations. Be sure to backup your phone before doing this, cause it will delete all the contacts too!

You cannot download the same Apps that you have on your iPhone. They are two seperate stores.
The store you have on your iPhone is the same for any iDevice (iPad, iPhone and iPod)
The store on your MacBook is only for Macs.

It appears that I someone tried installing CS3 and Professional 8 on my computer. I can not uninstall any of the items. Can you please help? I can not open anything coming on to my computer.

Ran disk utility repair permissions....now I can not open any applications on my Mac mini

my Mac mini (mid 2011. OS X 10.9.1). Was running very slow so I ran repair permissions...after re-booting my computer I can not open any apple applications. I keep getting a pop up window that says " finder quit unexpectedly". When trying to open safari " safari quit unexpectedly". I can open skype, google chrome. The computer indicates that wifi is on and connected - however I can't seem to log into Skype or access any web pages. What to do next?
One more thing, I keep getting pop up windows asking for passwords for different items if or keychain...I have tried to put in my password, but that doesn't work. Not sure what password it is looking for but the window won't go away even when I hit cancel

Boot into your recovery partition (restart, hold down ⌘R until you see the Apple logo), and use Disk Utility to repair your hard drive. OS X: About OS X Recovery
Then see if you can restart normally.

click on launchpad - then go to utilities - then go to disk utility.
once you're in disk utility, highlight your hard drive, the one above superdrive and click on verify disk (far right).
after verify disk is done, proceed to verify disk permissions. if there are errors, click on repair disk permissions.
when all completed, restart your macbook.

If you mean a gift card code then that field is optional, it doesn't have to be filled in - if you want to download paid-for items then you can add your credit card details to your account. Gift cards are not available in all countries, and they are country specific (they can only be used in their country of issue), so you may not be able to fill it in anyway - if they are available in your country then you might be able to buy them from Apple, electrical stores, etc

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a test, not a solution. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
Step 1
The purpose of this step is to determine whether the problem is localized to your user account.
Enable guest logins* and log in as Guest. For instructions, launch the System Preferences application, select Help from the menu bar, and enter “Set up a guest account” (without the quotes) in the search box.
While logged in as Guest, you won’t have access to any of your personal files or settings. Applications will behave as if you were running them for the first time. Don’t be alarmed by this; it’s normal. If you need any passwords or other personal data in order to complete the test, memorize, print, or write them down before you begin.
Test while logged in as Guest. Same problem(s)?
After testing, log out of the guest account and, in your own account, disable it if you wish. Any files you created in the guest account will be deleted automatically when you log out of it.
*Note: If you’ve activated “Find My Mac” or FileVault in Mac OS X 10.7 or later, then you can’t enable the Guest account. The Guest login created by “Find My Mac” is not the same. Create a new account in which to test, and delete it, including its home folder, after testing.
Step 2

Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
Be sure your Mac is shut down.
Press the power button.
Immediately after you hear the startup tone, hold the Shift key. The Shift key should be held as soon as possible after the startup tone, but not before the tone.
Release the Shift key when you see the gray Apple icon and the progress indicator (looks like a spinning gear).
Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.

I installed PP6 on my Lenovo Laptap with Win8.1. Worked fine. Turned off computer. Turned back on. Can not open ANY PP6 program. No Adobe app shows as a listed program to uninstall. However, Adobe PP6 files shows in directory search. How do I fix?

How do you uninstall PP6 with win8.1 when it no longer shows up as a program listed with an uninstall options. PP worked until I turned off computer and restarted. All start up links are gone. I can see where Adobe PP6 files installed when I do a directory search but no .exe start files in those directories work. I can not uninstall PP6 and try again to re-install. How do I fix this problem?

Thanks Michael. Apologies for the slow reply I was away for a bit (holiday blitz at work and visiting family madness etc.etc.) back now, I set both options you requested to "never " and retried the CMS software with no change.
I do have progress of a sort though, as a test I took a separate test PC and put a clean install of Win7 on and loaded up the CMS software (it worked perfectly) and then took the version of ole32.dll off that machine and put it onto the computer I had built
for her (using Linux) and...
got a new error code. Darn I was so sure I had found a clever solution this time lol.
Anyway now when the CMS fails it gives me a similar error but the offending module is "ntdll.dll" sooo... I tried taking the "working" version of ntdll.dll from the test box and moving it over (making sure to back up the existing ones
first so I could put them back if needed) to her new PC and the PC would not boot.
It seems to want the original versions of a few Dynamic Link Libraries and if I could somehow give it those while not breaking Win7 it should theoretically work seeing as it no longer errors with ole32.dll.
ntdll.dll however seems necessary for Win7 to boot.
So what I am wondering now is:
Is there some way to have both versions of the DLL file in the system32 folder (bypassing the "cannot have two files with the exact same name in the same folder" thing) or rename the original DLL's something else and somehow make the CMS look for
the new named versions so the system has the updated DLL's it needs to boot/run and the CMS has the old ones it wants to run or is there someway to have a self contained install of the CMS, say on a USB flash drive and give it it's own E:/windows/system32/needed
dll's path to the files it needs?
Willing to try any other options or settings you may have come up with as well.

I updated my applications and now I can not open any of them.

I updated the required updates due to being given no other option to go around the update and now I can not open any of the applications I installed prior, it just shows the words up to date italisized and grayed out giving me no options to oppen the applications now that I have updated my applications.

What applications are these?
How are you trying to open them? From your description it sounds like you are opening the Application Manager.

I have 3 versions of Photoshop CC and 2 versions of Premiere CC installed on my computer after the last update. Can I uninstall any of them?

After my laptop updated my apps, I now have Photoshop CC (32bit), Photoshop CC (64bit), and Photoshop CC (2014) showing installed on my computer. I also show Premiere CC and Premiere CC (2014). Can I uninstall any of these as they are taking up valuable space on my primary SSD? Please help. This seems silly.

I just uninstalled Photoshop CC, Indesign CC, and Illustrator CC and did not experience any hiccups. EDIT: If you have plugins refer to @John T Smith post below; I do not.
Now time for rant:
- It's a year+ since the switch to CC; what is the utility in switching your brand's identity to a "SaaS company" if you aren't going to be doing rolling releases? You just didn't want to to package and ship the physical boxes anymore? This is mind-blowing to me. Tell your devs/architects to install some Linux instances (Arch preferably) and see they way they handle package upgrades. If you guys weren't so Linux phobic you might have picked up on how to elegantly do package/app updates.
- Who in Marketing thought "Well ****, if we are going to have a fragmented CC ecosystem might as well just stick the year at the end". If this is going to be your naming convention you should push an update to rename the old CC's (2013).
- Please refresh your Creative Cloud app immediately. As @unconsenting posted before, HD space is luxury and can't be wasted. Why not have a prompt asking if the user wants to uninstall any previous version? Before finding the uninstall file, I glanced through the CC app for a non-existent uninstall button. Ridiculous that I had to open the Applications folder(or sorting through the numerous Adobe uninstall apps that spotlight displays) and run 3 uninstall apps, each a 5 min uninstall, after spending 15 mins running the new update

The curser shows there are links when you move over. I have uninstalled and re-installed Firefox and restarted my computer with no luck.
