Can not update creative cloud

Can not update creative cloud, it keeps saying "Installer was unable to access a critical file/directory. Please try installing again.(Error code: 43) Contact Customer Support". Any ideas?

    After using the trial version of Photoshop CS6, I decided to purchase the one-year Photoshop cloud version.
    I was told by a friend to do a "clean" download, so removed the "previous version".
    Now when I click the "download" tab, nothing happens.
    Can you help?

    Please download/install CC desktop : https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud and try downloading Photoshop. If still the same issue then as suggested by Mylenium run the cleaner tool and try downloading again.

    I can't open Creative Cloud.
    I log in and it tells me there is a new version of creative cloud. I click on update and it just shuts down creative cloud.
    I re-open creative cloud and it asks for a proxy password. I don't know what this means. I just try logging in using my Adobe login and it then asks me to log in using my Adobe login. Then it shuts down saying there is Update to creative cloud available on my bottom task bar. I click on that icon and it just tells me again that there is an update available.
    Nothing is happening...
    I am on a network and I have tried logging into just my computer but the same thing is happening.
    Help!

  • How can I update Creative Cloud?

    I'm told an update to my Creative Cloud is available. When I click to update it, the update always stops at 43% and then gives me an Error Code: 1. Contact Customer Support. When I click on "Contact Customer Support" I don't get ANY support at all. Instead I'm lead in a circle that never ends and there are no options for chat, email, or phone support. Adobe help for their customers seems dismal.
