Can not use recovery CD

My present windows was "destroyed"(lots of files had been deleted) so I can not run it. I tried to use tosiba's cd to recover windows unless nothing is happening:
I/m inserting a cd power on laptop holding "C" but it dosen't work. eveytime i get monit:
windows could not start becouse of an error in the software, load needed DLLs for kernel
I've red posts on forum but nothing found :(
How can I repait it?

A long and quite arduous solution to this problem is to 'borrow' a MS windows CD, configure your bios to boot from your CD drive, then proceed to install that version of Windows. This should clear up any missing/corrupt files etc.
You should also perform a (slow) NTFS disk format as well.
Step 2, will be to then insert the toshiba recovery disk, while pressing 'c' etc.

My Dealer/Service center replaced the motherboard when I had a start up problem. My recovery DVD which originally comes with the notebook does not work anymore. When I start recovery procedure follow message is shown: 'Wrong machine'.

If you use wrong machine as searching term on this forum you will find many similar treads. When motherboard is changed DMI information must be updated. Without this info identification is not possible.
I recommend you to contact service again. They will update DMI info and you will be able to use recovery media again.

TS1386 upgraded iso using itunes, now I can not use my phone as it is still in recovery mode

I attempted to upgrade iso on my iphone, not sure it even worked because now my phone is in the recovery mode and I can't get it out and can not use my phone at all or get to my home pages.

Can not create recovery discs on satellite C875D-S7330

Can not create recovery discs on satellite C875D-S7330. Drive runs and appears to be doing it thing, then aborts saying it has error to check disc for scratch or dust on media. Error code: OEO1B5-26-2AO3OC 00 . Tried 3 new discs all same results. Tried a 4th disc trying to continue on with disc 2 of recovery discs, got another error on this one. Error code: 020150-20-00000000.
Anyone have a fix for this? Had this machine less than 24hrs.

Personally, I would get a 16gig USB thumb drive and put your recovery on it. It eliminates having to swap disks during recovery and it's easy to store. I've used mine several times and it's worked perfectly every time.

Plug it into your computer and restore it. It is in recovery mode. Anything that was on the phone is already gone. If the pictures and videos were not backed up, then there is no way to retrieve them.

Try and force your iPad into Recovery Mode
1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.

There's no change if I hold command-R to boot into recovery. The mac chimes on powerup but nothing else seems to happen.
The machine has an SSD drive in it so I can't even listen to hear if it is loading anything or acting differently when I try different keypresses.
As I had some spare RAM lying around, I've tried swapping that in but no change there either. I still suspect it's a software rather than hardware problem, but without any way to control the boot up, I'm not sure how I can fix it.
I do have remote time machine backups - is there any way of restoring these manually, perhaps by removing the drive from the mac and copying the backup data over using another system? (Unfortunately I don't have any other mac systems to experiment with this, though)

As long as your Sensor Settings are On within Menu, Settings, Phone, Sensor Settings then you just need to do the following -
Tapping
The tap function allows you to quickly
mute and reject calls and alarm tones, and
to display a clock just by double-tapping
the back or front of the phone when the
slide is closed.
Select Menu > Settings > Phone >
Sensor settings to activate the tap
function and vibration feedback.
Mute calls or alarms
Double-tap the phone.
Reject a call or snooze an alarm after
muting it
Double-tap the phone again.
Display the clock
Double-tap the phone.
(If you have missed calls or received new
messages, you must view them before you
can see the clock.)
Simply, if you double tap the screen when the slide is closed and you can see the clock appear then it is working.
