Can not view all apps from app world on my playbook

I just got my playbook for Christmas. My brothers and my sister got one as well. They are seeing and downloading apps that I can not. They are all the same. I am trying see and down load Jetpack Joyride. Please help.

The app you mentioned has a 13+ rating. That is probably why you can't see it.

Can not view all the thumbnails in version 9 adobe standard

Hello,
I recently installed adobe standard 9 running parallel with adobe standard 5.
My end user is claiming of the view setting for patient data. She can not scroll all the way to the bottom
as she could in adobe 5. She can see all the thumbnails minus the last row. I have changed the prefereces to show the same
as adobe 5. However I can not get the correct settting to make it right for her.
Any adivse or trouble shoot steps would be appreciated. Adobe said to update the product, I have done that last night.

How do I do that?

How can I view all photos taken in one calendar year like 2010? Is there a way to filter this way?

Yes, create a smart album or a search with a "Date" rule or a Calendar rule.
For example: New > Smart Album
Add Rule: Date
Capture year is 2010.
or: Add Rule: Calendar
and click-step the year back to 2010:
In the Calendar it is a bit cumbersom to select a whole year, because it will only show 3 month at once. Select the first day and then scroll to to the end oft the year.

CAN NOT VIEW ALL TABLES IN MY INSTANCE/SCHEMA

neither thru an ODBC connection in Access or thru TOAD can I see all of the tables available to me in my instance. In TOAD I can query them, if i know their names and call them in the SQL but when i go to the table view they are not there.... HELP!!!!!

I ran a 9i RAC with hundreds of tablespaces and several hundred user objects (tables, procedures, etc.) in each tablespace (product development environment). I HAD to use roles for privileges or it was unmanageable. Access to the DB was mostly from MS Access users who didn't know how to write real SQL or use an enterprise-level reporting tool. I set up a lot of ODBC-links for people who only had privileges granted via roles, and the biggest problem wasn't the explicit grants, but not having READ access. All had a default role (and I frequently ran into the role limit issue) selected and this didn't seem to affect the selection of tables via ODBC. I strongly recommend that you check and verify that the user you are trying to connect through ODBC has READ rights on the tables in question, not just EXECUTE, REFERENCES, INSERT, UPDATE, DELETE, etc.

Can not import all songs from computer HD

only some of my songs import from my HD to Itunes library. How can I get all of the to import. they are all mp3 files.

I have the same problem but I have some more info onwhat happens with my songs. First of all I want to say that all the songs I am talking about are in MP3 format with all the tags completed correctly.
I have two computers and iTunes on both of them and I had noticed this behaviour when importing miscellaneous songs into my main computer's iTunes library. So before I tried importing my collection of 2800 songs from full albums into my existing iTunes library I used my second computer to verify that all the songs would be imported into an empty library, and they were. However, when I went back to my main computer and imported the same songs, from the same folder structure, iTunes skipped several of the songs.
Can somebody please tell me if iTunes has some kind of integrated filter for removing duplicate entries when importing MP3 files.

If you have an iPad 1 then you cannot upgrade to iOS7, you can only go to iOS 5.1.1
to update, connect your iPad to the computer you normally sync with. Update iTUnes. Do a full back up of your device onto that computer. Then download and install the update. Once the update is done the computer will restore your iPad from the backup that you just made and you should lose nothing.

Have you attempted to look on your computer in itunes to make sure the apple id displays all the content on that specific account that is on the iPad?

InDesign CS4 (ver.6) can not package all images from afp mounted server

I'm experiencing an issue on multiple Intel Mac's running OS 10.6.8 when packaging files some of the server based art does not collect.
In some folers some of the art collects and in the same folder some other files don't.
The missing files are generally .jpg or .eps and it's a combination of these files that are not being collected.
Images are sometimes shared between users but the missing images do not appear to be open elsewhere.
The docuemtns are stored across several AFP mounted server hosted on a Windows 2004 Server running ExtremeZIP to allow AFP cpnnection.
Moving the files to different volumes on the server does not appear to resolve this issue.
Any thoughts or questions? Apologies if this isn't clear.

I just had this happen again with a new InDeslgin CS4 file, I took the missing images and relinked them to a new folder I just created on my desktop and it still does nt collect these files. So not only the server, but now my desktop, and it's not just my computer, I can reproduce on other macs in 10.6.8
I convertd the files from .EPS (from Photoshop: they're flattned) to .PDF (from Apple Preview) and relinked them, and I was not able to package either.
I did find the solution:
I checked off "Include Fonts and Links Hidden and Non-Printing Content"
even though these items were on visible layers and not on the pasteboard they were excluded before I checked it off.

That is a problem with that website and a file (dom-build.js) that Firefox requests is missing and that file has the functions to build the menu.<br />
Files for IE and Google Chrome (Safari) are there (http://wpc.dot.gov.in/include/saf-build.js), so it works with those browsers.

HT1351 can not sync all playlists from macBook to iPAD

As it says in the title. The playlists contain podcasts which are not listed in the podcast menu and a ripped CD, all are ticked on the MacBook. Do a sync everything and they arrive on the iPAD, then change to ticked and they get deleted even though they are ticked.

Can not post all contacts from address book group

I created a contact list with 132 entries for a social club that I belong to in Address Book. When I create a message and add the group in the BCC field it will only post 99 contacts.
I tried dragging and dropping the group and typing the group name in the Bcc field and I always end up with just 99. I checked all the addresses and they all seem legit. It took me quite a long time to add all these fields and now I am so discouraged. Any ideas at all please.

Glad it working. I couldn't remember if Lion had a limit but usually it's your ISP that limits sending to a group. In the past it used to be 50 contacts but now most let you send up to 200 in a group.
It's best to put yourself in the To line and add group to BCC for privacy. If you don't have a To recipient some ISPs put the BCC in To.

If you just installed iCloud does that mean you updated the iOS that's running on your iPad? If so, you'll want to restore all the programs you have from the backup you hopefully made.

If you don't want to use iCloud, simply don't activate it.
You can also download the programs again.

FaceTime is included in Lion. The App Store version is for 10.6. If you deleted it, restore it from a backup, or reinstall the Mac OS.

This is my first go at this so be kind,
My question concerns launchpad. Coming from Snow Leopard I had been using spaces. I like to keep certain bundles of programs on separate desktops, for example all word processing related tasks in one place. I have set up the equivalent on Yosemite.
My problem is concerns the loss of exposé. Now I know when you swipe into launch pad you get a very similar effect but the issue I am having concerns the "zoom out" effect when you swipe into launchpad. With exposé all open apps/pages etc would be fully exposed - in my case several (sometimes as many as 9 word documents). What I am running into is when I do this in / into launch pad the "pile" of docs is exposed but they are still overlapping so I can't get a good look at which is which and visually identify where I want to navigate to.
My question is this; Is there a way to adjust the settings on launchpad so that when I swipe into it all the open apps/pages are fully separated (like in exposé) so that I can fully view all of them simultaneously? If so, instructions on how to do so would be greatly appreciated. Any alternative suggestions to doing this outside of launchpad are also welcome. If there is an exposé app for example, I would be quite willing to go that route.
My main concern is being able to quickly (ie a touchpad gesture) expand all the open pages so I can bounce between them.

Thanks for taking the time. Unfortunately no that does not solve it. Same as swipe it will get me there and it will show separate programs spaced out. The issue I am having is that all my open word files are bunched up in a pile on top of each other. I can see the edges of each one but I want them to be separated from each other enough that I can visually identify what file is what.
