Can not view video links on certain websites now, can on IE. Everything updated!

I can no longer access videos on Foodnetwork.com with Firefox as my default browser, although other website videos work fine. I have updated all plug-ins and Firefox to latest versions. Still doesn't work. When I switch to Internet Explorer, all videos play fine.

your Firefox version is not up-to-date. Latest version for Windows XP is 5.0.1
-> Tap '''ALT''' key or press '''F10''' to show the Menu Bar
-> go to Help Menu -> select '''Restart with Add-ons Disabled'''
Firefox will close then it will open up with just basic Firefox. Now do this:
-> Update Firefox to the latest version by going to Help Menu -> About Firefox -> click '''Check for Updates''' -> if an updated version is found then download the latest version and install it. After that follow these steps:
-> Update ALL your Firefox Plug-ins https://www.mozilla.com/en-US/plugincheck/
-> go to View Menu -> Toolbars -> unselect All Unwanted/Incompatible Toolbars
-> go to Tools Menu -> Clear Recent History -> '''Time range to clear: select "EVERYTHING"''' -> click Details (small arrow) button -> place Checkmarks on '''Cookies, Cache''' -> click '''Clear Now'''
-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Content -> place Checkmarks on:
1) Block Pop-up windows 2) Load images automatically 3) Enable JavaScript
-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Security -> place Checkmarks on:
1) Warn me when sites try to install add-ons 2) Block reported attack sites 3) Block reported web forgeries 4) Remember Passwords for sites
-> go to Tools Menu -> Options -> Advanced -> Network -> Offline Storage (Cache): click '''Clear Now''' button
-> Click OK on Options window
-> click the Favicon on SearchBar -> click '''Manage Search Engines''' -> select all Unwanted Search Engines and click '''Remove''' -> click OK
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Extensions section -> REMOVE All Unwanted/Suspicious/Incompatible Extensions (Add-ons) -> Restart Firefox
-> go to Tools Menu -> Add-ons -> Appearance section -> REMOVE All Unwanted/Suspicious/Incompatible Themes (Persona) -> Restart Firefox
You can enable your Known & Trustworthy Add-ons and Themes later. Check and tell if its working.

  • Can not view videos on you tube in firefox4 using flash player11

    I'm using firefox 4 and i can not view videos on you tube.I've updated and reinstalled adobe flash player twice with no results.I've also tried the other checks,security blocking,cache,pop ups etc Works fine on IE. Hope someone has a solution.I've always liked firefox but not the newer versions and many of the changes;

I can't believe you're still running Firefox 4. Why not a newer version?
There are a number of active threads concerning the latest Flash player plugin (11.3) and the latest Firefox (12-13). Not all users are experiencing the same issues, but things to check include the following:
    - Conflict with Realplayer Browser Record plugin (to disable this, open Add-ons from the orange Firefox button or the classic Tools menu and look under the Extensions and Plugins categories)
    - Conflict with Flash 11.3 Protected Mode (see [http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1018071?tstart=0 Adobe Forums: How do I disable Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?])
Scanning down the front of the forums probably will yield additional suggestions: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions
Does any of that appear promising?

    Thanks joe

Depends on the format. You can only view mpeg4 and quicktime really. Other movie formats like wma or flash do not have a codec on the phone and would need to be viewed on a computer.
Send feedback about what you want to be able to do with the phone http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • Can not view video over the Internet on WVC80N

I set up the web cam, set up the port forward etc so now I am able to:
       1. view/change web cam settings inside my home network.
       2. view video inside my home network.
       3. view/change web cam settings over the Internet.
But I am not able to view video over Internet. Every time I did so (using IE browser), after clicking the view video button, I got an error : There are too many user connections or the device is busy, please try again latter.
Anyone has a fix on this? I set up port forwarding on port 1024 (that's how I can chage settings over Internet).
I spent 2 hours on the phone with Linksys tech support but they could not find the reason.
    Thanks,
    Sam

Who is your ISP? How you are trying to access your Camera from the remote location? Along with Port 1024 you need to do port forwarding for port 80 on your router for the Cameras IP address. As WVC80N works on your HTTP Port.
To access your camera from the Remote location, you need to use http://wan ip:80.

  • Can not view videos on my Macbook Pro

I have a 13-inch Macbook Pro. Earlier this morning it prompted me for a software update, and I did it. Upon the computer restarting itself, I can no longer view any sort of videos on my computer. Youtube videos just come up as a black screen without the pause/play thing at the bottom, and any video embedded in an article just shows up as a blank space. Videos linked on Facebook will just load and load and never finish loading. I downloaded the newest version of Adobe Flash just to be sure, and it shows up in my system preferences as installed, but still nothing. Any help on this issue would be much appreciated, thank you!

Run thorough this, I suspect another issue, but by process of elimination it might be discovered

  • Why I can not view the iPad 2 featured? Before can view it. Now I log to app store featured, it come out currently not available in Malaysian Store. How to solve this problem. Categories no problem. Can view it and purchase.

    How to solve it ;(

There's a couple of ways to get through to the authorisation controls in the 11.0.x versions.
The control is still in the Store menu, but first (if you're using iTunes versions 11.0.x) you might need to bring up the menu bar to see the Store menu.
If you're using 11.0.x, click on the wee boxy icon up in the top-left corner of your iTunes to see the "Show Menu Bar" control, as per the following screenshot:
Then you'll find the control in the Store menu:
Alternatively, if you don't want to bring up the menu bar, it's still possible to get into the authorise controls via nested menus accessible from the wee boxy icon. Here's a screenshot of where to find them:

  • I'm having difficulties viewing some content of certain websites using any browser on Maverick!!

    Hey,
I can't view some content of certain websites on any browser. I'm running on 10.9.2 and I have tried this on Chrome, Firefox, Opera and Safari and nothing seem to work. For instance, I can't view the videos on 11secondclub.com or login to digitaltutors.com
Any thoughts what the problem might be?
    Thanks!

    Hi,
You can try [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab-plus-ff-36/?src=ss IE Tab Plus] or [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/ie-tab/ IE Tab] to view the site inside Firefox.

  • Can not view mobile me gallery videos on IPHONE

Can any body tell me why i can not view my mobile me gallery videos on my Iphone? When i bring up my gallery on my phone it only shows some of my posted video not all of them and the time has 0:00. If you try and play it you get an error message.

When you send an email announcement for others to view a MM gallery, you can Bcc yourself with the message - to your MM address.
If you store all sent messages on the server, you can access the sent message in your MM account's Sent mailbox. This will provide you the link to your MM gallery, which you can bookmark for later use or create a web clip which will be placed on your iPhone's Home screen for faster access.

  • Can not view uploaded videos

After downloading iOS 7 I can not view the uploaded videos in my library. The video shows a gray screen and when I tap on play arrow, says "this operation can not be completed" please direct me!

I had the same problem.  Took me a while to put two and two together.
A work around is to use AirPlay, an iOS device (iPad, in my case), and a web browser set to identify itself as a desktop browser.  I use Atomic Web.  Works on most videos, but sometimes it's a little tricky to start playing.  Tapping the center of the video once, usually does the trick.
    Good luck. :-)
