Can OHS 12c connect to tomcat 7 via AJP Protocol ?

I would like to check if OHS 12c can connect to Tomcat 7 via AJP Protocol. I know there is mod_jk or mod_proxy_ajp is Apache but not in default OHS installation modules. Thanks

Centro can no longer connect to PC via USB

I bouhght a new PC recently and since then I can not get my Centro to connect to the computer via USB. Ive installed the software and driver and it still says no driver detected whenever I plug it in. Its also popping in and out of the device manger screen like its keeps getting unplugged andplugged back in . Ive tried both the cd driver and downloadable one.
Im running Win7 now, but was using Vista64 Home Prem when I first got the computer..
I never had any problem on my old cpompuer which was running Vista32 Home prem

Hello JalenTigh, Welcome to the Palm Support Community.
Unfortunately, Palm Desktop software has never had a driver for any 64-bit operating system. This has been true for XP64, Vista64, and now Windows 7 64bit.
If I could direct your attention to the Windows HotSync section of this forum you will find many large threads discussing your issue at the top of the section.
You will only be able to sync via a Wireless connection - on your Centro, this would be via BlueTooth.

Can Dreamweaver CS5 connect to MySQL via ODBC?

I am unable to make a direct connection to an external MySQL database because most hosting provider does not allow this type of connection due to security reasons. I am however able to make an ODBC connection to the database (which I am currently using to connect filemaker to our MySQL database).
How can I tell Dreamweaver CS5 to connect via the ODBC driver so I can see the MySQL content in my Dreamweaver project?
I am on a Mac running OS X 10.6.4.

You can't - at least not if you want to use Dreamweaver's server behaviors. Dreamweaver uses the original PHP MySQL extension. If you want to connect in any other way, you need to hand code everything yourself.
On the other hand, if you want to see the contents of your remote database in Dreamweaver, define your remote server as the testing server. Dreamweaver uploads a hidden folder to the remote server to connect to the database. Because the script is on your remote server, it's local to the MySQL database, so gets round the security issue. It then sends the details to your local computer.

Can new iPad connect to printer via USB?

If now I have an 30 pin to USB converted can I connect my iPad with printer via USB cable, because my printer is not support wifi or Bluetooth function. If can do I need install what suitable app on my iPad to find or connect my printer?

The iPad only prints via Wi-Fi to printers that support AirPrint. Here's a website on AirPrint that includes a list of supported printers.

Can nokia e72 connect to PC via wifi and transfer ...

I've been messing around with the sync stuff in home media and other settings, and I can't seem to figure it out. Does my e72 have the function to be able to connect to my pc or is this only able to be done via bluetooth? It seems that the function is available but the manual is vague and I can't find anything online.
Any ideas?

I managed to install uShare on my Ubuntu Linux PC and got the phone to browse the files just fine, just didn't manage to get syncronization working yet :-). Phone is on wireless, my PC is not, so as long as they're on the same LAN you're good, no bluetooth or anything else needed (I got my WLAN bridged to my wired LAN).
If I get all of it working I'll post here.

Can wicd simultaneously connect two networks via different interfaces

hi, recently, I installed wicd. I am tired for figuring out of NetworkManager stuff.
however, for same reasons, I could not configure my ethernet and wireless interface at the same time.
for example, in my case, I have enp0s25 and wlp3s0 interfaces. however, wicd only allow me to connect one at a time. especially when I connected enp0s25 via wicd-curses, it actually disabled the wlp3s0. (the interface is set down by wicd, but I still can see the available network, very strange)
is there a way to deal with that ?

Wicd is kinda strange, it usually picks the wired over the wireless (and there is an option for that). You can get it, by allowing wicd to connect wirelessly, and manually dhclient the eth0 interface. Netctl can help in this allowing both interfaces to go without manual intervention. The only difference is you won't be roaming like you can in wicd.

Users can no longer connect to servers via their IP addresses.

1) Up until March users could connect to two file servers (10.4 and 10.6) by IP address.
2) Now, only computers that are not managed by Casper can connect. All the Windows machines and a couple of Macs (not managed) can connect to these Servers. One of the Macs is filtered by iBoss, but mine bypasses the filter. We can both connect.
3) On the day this happened, I updated the iBoss firmware and sent out the script below which should not be related. The commonality seems to have something to do with computers managed by Casper (JAMF).

Check your firewall logs find out if it's at your end that's blocking access
Log into one of the blocked machines with your login that's not blocked to find out if it's a user level or machine block
Read the iboss firmware release notes
See if there is any changes that effect your current setup
Check firewall rules make sure the effected machines, vlans etc have access to the servers
See if Casper still access the effected machines

Can no longer connect to internet via airport

My roommate and I have wireless internet. I used it all last semester with no problems. Sometime in December, I was unable to access the internet (Firefox, Safari, tried both..) here in my apartment, even though Internet Connection shows a full signal under our Airport network. When I went home, wireless worked just fine on this laptop - same when I'm at a library with wireless.
I've tried restarting the wireless router, no success. I'm only able to access the internet when I'm plugged in directly to the router.
Any suggestions?

Um it's an AT&T DSL wireless router. Yes, my room mate uses the wireless. On my computer in the top right by the airport signal, when you click it, our network is shown with a check next to it, so it must be the signal from our router.
There's an IP address when I unplug my computer from the router (when the web pages cannot be displayed), but when I plug it back in to use the internet, there isn't an IP address - just an IPv6 address.

HT5500 I can no longer connect to Facebook via Safari, Firefox and Chrome from Admin account, but I can through the Guest account? Any ideas?

For some reason, Facebook is the only site I cannot reach when logged in as Admin. When I switch to Guest then I can access Facebook. I've cleared DNS cache. I've reset Safari, etc. Something is real wierd. Any ideas?

I can't get connected to internet via wifi

This happened once before and I did something in system preferences -> network, and got the connection. I did not change anything since but It is not working now and I dont remember what I did to fix it last time.

I would recommend using a different DNS setting, the ISP the hospital uses may be causing problems with their DNS settings. Please follow:
1. System preferences
2. Network
3. Click Advanced
4. Click DNS tab
5. Click + sign
6. Add 208.67.222.222
7. Click + sign
8. Add 208.67.220.220
9. Click OK.
10. Exit System Preferences

After ois 7 upgrade i can no longer connect my camera via wifi to upload photos to my iphone, nor ipad

I have a Canon camera that has wifi. Before the OIS 7 upgrade, I could upoad phots from my camera to either the iphone, or ipad wirelessly. Since the upgrade, i cannot. Anyone found a soluti on. I have tried resetting the settings on the camera to original, renaming the camera name to remove the apostrophe.

Yes I tried this manyfold. But did not work. Reading on, I took Tesserac's advice. Shut down router and computer.
Start router after 15 minutes and wait another 10 minutes before starting the computer.
Et voila.... everything is back in working order,

I have the ipad mini and can't get connected to gmail via the App. I could at one time and now it comes up: username or password incorrect

Anyone know a solution for not being able to get mail with the Gmail App after it working for a while. username and password entered many times.
Very Frustrated.

One iCloud account has one user name (a .mac or .me email name) and password. If you have set up multiple accounts in the past then you must choose one and stay with it. If you don't know the user name, then you have a problem. If you haven't really begun using iCloud (but you mention trying to get mail, so I'm assuming you have used iCloud before), then use a .mac or .me account you know you have or just sign up for a new account - and be sure to write down the name and password for future use.
If you want to use the account to sync your contacts, email, calendars, etc, then each of your ios devices need to use the same account, otherwise they will be independent of one another.

Only 1 Mac at a time can connect to Comcast via Snow ABS ?

I have 2 Macs, a new MacBookPro Core 2 Duo running 10.4.8 and the other an iMac G4 flat panel (swivel) running 10.3.9.
The ABS is the old snow model.
Separately, each computer can be easily connected to the Comcast network via the ABS. But when I try to connect them both wirelessly at the same time, only 1 of them ever receives the router's IP address. The other is shut out. Network diagnostics suggests the Mac believes it is connected, but that the servers I am asking for must have been typed incorrectly. This is clearly not the case, having used my frequently used favorites bar.
I've tried work-arounds, and now have the Mac Book sharing the iMac's wireless connection via ethernet cable, but that really takes the fun out of having a Mac Book doesn't it?
Anyone with any clues that can help slay this beast?

Don't give up hope yet
Yes the circle is the WAN port and the bi-directional arrow the LAN port. I'll guess this is the document you followed with regard to doing a hard-reset and so you Snow is now showing a flashing led pattern as per this document, i.e., middle led flashing. Note that the right led may be flashing intermittently if you still have the WAN port connected to your cable modem, this just shows there is Ethernet traffic on that link.
With regard to software required to be able to administer the Snow, check here but I would be suprised if you didn't have the AirPort 4.2 software which provides the AirPort Admin Utility (note that you cannot use the Airport Utility as this cannot administer the Snow.)
For reloading the Snow after a hard-reset this is a good set of instructions to follow.
The usual default setup once you have done this will be for the Snow to do NAT and distribute IP addresses (through DHCP). However, I'm not familiar with what you will have to set up for the WAN port connection to Comcast, but they should have given you that information.
Give us an update as to whether you manage to get any further.

Can no longer connect to remote server via VPN

I recently installed OS 10.5.8, and have found that I can no longer connect to my server at work. The VPN itself (via PPTP) works fine, it's just that when I try to connect to the remote server (via Connect to Server) I get a dialogue saying 'A volume failed to mount.' A further dialogue says 'Sorry, the operation could not be completed because an unexpected error occurred. (Error code -6602)'
Has anyone found a way around this, please? I'm disabled and I need to be able to work from home – without the connection I'm stuffed! Obviously I've tried rebooting the machine etc, but nothing seems to help.

Recently upgraded to 10.8.5 however the Himedia player connected to my iMac via sharing can no longer connect to the iMac.

Have contacted Himedia and they say its something to do with Mountain lion
