Can one app cause my iphone 5s to corrupt the system (or crash)?

I recently took my iphone 5s to the genius bar, they told my that an app is causing the problem and they want me to restore from itunes then install each app one by one to see which one is causing the problem.
I have already restored and start as new iphone.

Apple chat support believes that its a hardware problem because my home/sleep buttons doesnt work sometimes im using my iphone. (should of mention this first)

You have a password, so good move on your part. Whether you erase it or the thief does, they still get to use the iPhone as theirs. Which is more important (pick one), protecting your data or punishing the thief?
Ringing occurs at the carrier. Chances are you're going to voicemail after only two or three rings. If you have an iCloud backup also a good move. Re-read my question in the first paragraph.

It cannot be installed. It comes pre-installed on every iPhone 4S and later. Maybe it was disabled under Settings > General > Restrictions.

iOS 6 only added support for the 3rd generation iPad. It was always on the iPhone 4S. Then the same goes for your boss: Maybe disabled in restrictions, or maybe actually an iPhone 4.

Imac frozen at blue screen after i went into disk utilities and cleaned my free space. I tried holding down T key as it reboots and i get a message. Start up disk full empty it how can one emptie it if you cant get past the blue screen

to make matters worse we bought the IMAC of amazon uk on the 4/07/011 so what can we do?
please remember how frustrating it is when asking for help when the helper telling you to type something on the screen when its frozen
Tell us when you can type some instuctions to the software how do you get to the doss prompt so to speak to do this

Am i right ok in thinking that
when i went into disk utilities and chose to clean my free space i left it over one hour to do its stuff
i came back and there was no progress bar just the box so i quit the program and when i opened mac mail the system just froze i forced quit mail rebooted and blue screen death
Now when free space is being cleaned is it the same as windows dose the utility write lots of 0 on the hard drive then rebbot its self to free the space
basicly is my hard drive full of 00000 is this why im getting this message because the process was interupted

Thx, I finally figure out what I had to do to get it to download, just don't like that it is taking so long to download on the iphone from computer. But thx again for that advice, so far it is working.

Usually restoring from backup eliminated the corrupted files. However, sometimes restoring to factory settings/new iPod is required.

Sounds like you did not set back as new, or if you did you reset the iPad with your Apple Id again.
If it had been reset back as new it would have stayed at the Begin Setup screen, and you wouldn't have been able to see any Apps being downloaded, as you wouldn't have acccess to the Home Screen yet.
Follow Diavonex's post to restore the iPAd back to factory defaults, and that's it. It should be back to the Setup screen, without any Apple Id associated with it, and no Home screen visible.
