Can one Cisco IPS 4360 connect to two different ISP circuits?

Hi,
Currently our network has two circuits from two different ISPs, with two firewalls in the middle of the ISPs and the corporation internal network. We are thinking of purchasing a Cisco IPS 4360 and put the device between the ISPs and the two firewalls.
We would like the traffic coming to/from ASA1 still use the circuit from ISP1, and ASA2 still use the circuit from ISP2. Is this possible? Can the 4360 route the traffic as we want?
I drew a draft picture of this issue. Please have a look at the attachment.
Thank you!
Regards,
Jacky

Hi,
Yes, You can deploy your IPS as your plan. Please see the below link.

  • Can one external drive be connected to two USB devices?

I am wondering if I can connect an external HDD to the AE USB port so its on the nextwork and also connect it via firewire or USB to an HD 1080 Media player (connect to TV). Or is this going to cause problems if I do this at the same time?
    Thanks for any help!

Or is this going to cause problems if I do this at the same time?
Yes. A hard drive shouldn't be connected to two or more controllers at the same time unless it's specifically designed for that, which few drives are. A controller is a computer, AirPort Base Station, that media player, or anything else which attempts to access the drive directly.

  • 11g Multiple Rpd on one BI server connecting to two different data marts

    Hi
Did anyone tried and successfully implemented multiple rpds on one bi server. I have similar requirement in one of the clients place.
    1. Install OBIEE 11g with vertical scaling( reason client doesnt want to spend extra money on additional server licenses) and would like to utilize the powerful existing servers.
    2. Install 2 rpds on One BI Server and connect to two different datamarts.
    3. Create two PS and provide two links to have two different reporting environments.
Appreciate with any pointers. I am very clear on Vertical Scaling and bumping up the Bi , PS and Java Hosts components. I saw a post with successful implementation of the same functionility in 10g and nothing in 11g. I already reviewed ritmanmeed blogs but did not give a complete picture of successfull implementation.
    Thanks

    Hi,
Yes, it is possible to have two different .rpds on one BI Server but then you need to set up two different Presentation Servers.
Refer the below threads for more information.

    Hi
It is possible but that is only for reporting purposes.
To enable to do that you need to activate Enterprise Structure with Alternative Heirarchy.
You can have more info on this at the following link.

  • JDBC connection to two different machines from the same program

I want to use JDBC to connect to two different databases that are on two different MySQL installations on two different machines.
One of the installations is MySQL 4.1.12 and the other is 4.1.14-nt
For some reason, all my statements seem to be going only to one machine, even though I am very clearly set it up to go to two different machines.
Does anyone know whether connecting to two different installations from one program presents any unusual problems?
    Thanks.

Unless there is some horrible defect in the MySQL JDBC driver (which I doubt!), there should be no problem and like the other poster says, please post snippits of your code so we can see what your doing...

  • One target table is loading from two different source but same columns but one source is in a database and other is in a flat file.

Hope you all are doing good.
I have a business issue to be implemented in ODI 11G. Here it is. I am trying to load a target table from two sources having same coulmn names. But one source is in file format and other is in Oracle Database.
This is what i think i will create two mappings in the same interface using Union between the sources. But i am not sure how the interface would connect to different logical architecture to connect to two different sources.
    Thanks,
    SM

You are on the right track, this can all be done in a single interface. Do the following
    1) Pull your file data model into the source designer and and your target table model to the target pane.
    2) Map all the relevant columns
    3) In the source designer create a new dataset and choose the UNION join type (this will create a separate tab in the source designer pane)
    4) Select the new dataset tab in the source designer pane and pull your source oracle table data model into the source designer. Map all the relevant columns to the target
    5) Make sure that your staging location is defined on a relational technology i.e. in this case the target would be an ideal candidate as that is where ODI will stage the data from both file and oracle source and perform the UNION before loading to the target
If you want to look at some pretty screenshots showing the steps above take a look at http://odiexperts.com/11g-oracle-data-integrator-part-611g-union-minus-intersect/

  • One Cisco prime deployment for three physically different Networks

Can one Cisco prime deployment be used to manage three physically different Networks without creating a bridge between the networks. It is imperative that the networks remain separated but they will be managed by the same team so can you somehow use one Cisco Prime without the networks becoming connected

    Hi,
I believe you can manage any device, if it reachable (ICMP/SNMP) to Prime Infrastructure.
Just make sure all the 3 different network reachable to PI, it's not required they're reachable among them.
PI itself do not do any bridging/routing between your 3 different network , therefore PI doesn't know if you can route between them or if they're separated.
Since 3 different network are not reachable among themselves, use 3 different seed ip while discovering.
Also, from management point of view, you can create virtual domain, group the devices network wise, & then while logging in PI, you'll the get feel if you're managing 3 different network by same PI.
But since we know that PI, all the devices of 3 different network, it'll consume the CPU/RAM/Disc space accordingly. therefore need to pay attention for the resources of PI

  • Connecting to two different SQLServers present on different Locations

    Hi,
How can i connect to two different SQL Servers which are at different locations in the same session? IS there any way to do this without disconnecting from the first server?
    cheers,
    Sachin

    Well,
actually my problem is that im reading Database
e Properties through a file which contains multiple
database entries. And i have only one Connection
Object so if im logged into one ex SQLServer in
London, I have a class which will allow me to loginto
another database SQL Server at New York. Now how do i
keep my connection as well as connect to New York
Database Server with the same Connection Object. If
possible, I need to logoff from the Server at London.
How do i do this? Any Ideas?Redesign. You have a connection object that can only have one connection. Either you have to close that connection and reconnect to the other one, or you need two of them. Those are your choices.

  • Can I have smart print eprint on two different computes with only account

Can I have smart print eprint on two different computers with only one account???

Are you talking about accessing an ePrint account from various computers? Or having  HP Smart Print on multiple computers?
ePrint account information is kept at the site. You can log on it from anywhere, from any computer. Just go to the sire and click on Sign in and enter your password and email address. You can have multiple printers on one user account at ePrint Center (EPC). But printers can only be registered on ePrint Center to one user account.  If you have an ePrint cable printer you can create an account at this link here.
HP Smart Print does not require an account you can download to an Internet Explorere browser (versions 6-9) and use it with no registration.

    Hi Gilly,
I have no proof, but I think it will not work with an adapter, only Mini Display Port or Thunderbolt.

If you selected open a new Apple ID account, go back a step and enter use existing Apple ID.
You will have to set up a separate iCloud account or your iPads will mirror each other.
