Can One Library be used by 3 Macs?

Hi
I have a Time Capsule on order which I am going to attach an additional 500GB HD to in order to hold all my tunes and movies etc, which I will be able to access remotely.
However if I have one iTunes library, can 3 separate Macs use this library, or would it be a case of having it as one of the Macs library which the other 2 macs can share?

The library would be owned by one computer but you can share it with the other two. Sharing gives the other computers access to listen but not to copy. If you authorize the other two computers with your iTunes account you'll have more access.

You can create one order from multiple notification, but you cannot create multiple order from one notification.
Exmaple- You can select all notification in IW28, and create one order. All these notification will appear in object list of order.

Can't send mail using webmail on Mac OS X Server 10.4

Could someone help me figure out why I can't send email via webmail on Mac Mac OS X Server 10.4. I tried in and out of my LAN but it will not work. I am pretty sure that it's no firewall issue because it won't even work inside the LAN. Another thing I have considered is DNS issues. But my SMTP and POP3 works fine. Don't they use same DNS mail exchange record. Or should I ask my ISP to create a new record for webmail?

On iOS 8 (and earlier) - PHOTOS for iOS lets one import EVENTS from the Mac -- but now I am wondering: If PHOTOS for MAC no longer supports (or has) events - then there are no events to import- and in iPhoto, EVENTS are much different than ALBUMS…
And what about FACES and PLACES in the new PHOTOS for Mac?
Any comments appreciated.

Only iPhoto 9.6.1 will run on MacOS X 10.10.3.
If you did not yet have updated to that version, it will be difficult, because the update is currently not available at the AppStore.

iPhoto has automatically created Moments and Years to structure the library. You can add albums and smart albums.
Your events will be migrated as albums.
And what about FACES and PLACES in the new PHOTOS for Mac?
You can add Faces, but they are not fully supported in iCloud Photo Library Beta, and don't sync to other Macs.
Photos uses the GPS tags of your photos to create the places for the Moments view, but has no tools to add places manually.

Can One Sync a Smart Mailbox to .Mac???

I use a smart mailbox for all emails that need attending (if message is flagged.& if in Inbox) now, I would like to have that "smart" folder sync to my .mac account somehow, as it is IMAP there must be a way... any ideas?
I realise anything in my .mac account, which is in my inbox stays online too, but i have three main mail accounts...
A long shot... but ideally i'd like to be able to remove the flag from .mac (online)

If you want to work with a large Excel file, you probably need to purchase Microsoft Office 2011 for your Mac. There are other applications that can open and edit Excel files, but there are functions and features of Excel that don't always translate to other applications.
If you don't have Microsoft Office and want to try something free before purchasing anything, try LibreOffice:

Can ONE copy be used on more then ONE computer legally?

I am not talking Logic Nodes here, I am talking I have a macbook pro and a mac pro and I want to install on both machines. With the XKey this was a selling point, I just moved my key from one machine to the other when I was traveling.
I don't want to install on the mac pro and then find out i can't use the macbook pro etc.

An interesting note...
I installed L8 on my main system, as well as my laptop today. I was having some installation issues on my G5, so while I was dealing with that, I had L8 open on my laptop, and I was looking around on it.
While it was open on my laptop, I went and launched Logic 8 on my G5, and was given a prompt that another copy of Logic was open on my network, and so it couldn't launch at that time.
Sure enough, as soon as I quit L8 on the laptop, it opened just fine on the G5....

I had an old mac book pro,using it i maually stored files on it,i sold my old mac book pro and got a new mac book pro but it cant access the old files what should i do?

How do I begin backups again using the same Time Capsule?
Open System Preferences (gear icon on the dock)
Open Time Machine
Turn Time Machine "ON"
Click Select Disk
Choose your Time Capsule
Click Use This Disk
The first backup will begin in a few minutes.
If you decide to delete your old backups, do this before you back up the "new" Mac as listed above.
Open Finder > Applications > Utilities > AirPort Utility
Click on the Time Capsule icon, then click Edit in the smaller window that appears
Click the Disks tab at the top of the window
Click Erase
Choose the Quick Erase option
Click Erase Disk
The operation will only take a minute or two.....then, you can set up the first backup of the Mac as listed above.

Can EXE files be used on the MAc?

I'm not sure if this is in the correct category, but I am trying to download a program (Rhapsody) that I used on the PC. Whenever I click to download it (there are no OS options but it system requirements it says Mac OS 10.4 or higher) it automatically goes into my downloads as an .exe file. I was under the impression that .exe files are for Windows and not the Mac.
If I did try to open a Windows file, would it crash the Mac?
Also, someone recently told me that an intel mac is not a real mac and intel is made by Microsoft... I have never heard of this. He said that intel macs don't work the same as "real macs" and I could have problems because it's intel. Is that correct? Is my Mac Mini version 10.5.8 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo a Mac 10.5 or a Mac intel, I am confused about this.

.EXE files will work with Intel Macs running virtualization. Boot Camp is prebundled with Mac OS X 10.5 and 10.6, allowing you to boot into Windows, if you have a copy of Windows to install on your Mac that is compatible with that version of Boot Camp. Additional virtualization titles are below*:

That said, your statement here is a bit of a oxymoron:

The place giving you that download has either mislabeled the download, or is missing the download. At minimum, it should have bundled a .dmg, .gz, .sit, or .hqx document to run on 10.4. Virtualization under 10.4 is available, but it is not going to run as Boot Camp, because 10.5 is where Boot Camp is prebundled. You'd have to use Parallels, Virtualbox, or VMWare to install the .exe under 10.4 on an Intel Mac. Since you have 10.5.8, you already have Boot Camp capaibility. One problem people might run into with Intel Macs, is older PowerPC applications that access PowerPC only drivers or plugins, or need Mac OS 9. Ask the place that makes the software, if it relies on such things. If it does, inform them that they are woefully out of date, as Macs started coming with Intel chips January 2006. Find an alternative software title in that event.

Can iphoto library be used from an external Hard drive?

Can i put my iPhoto library which is getting rather large, on to an external hard drive.
And when i want to look, edit, arrange photos can i do that if my iphoto library is on an external hard drive with a firewire 400 cable attached.
CAn iphoto open and recognize it being on an external hard drive

Launching iPhoto with the option (alt) key depressed does not give you the option of copying an iPhoto library - it allows you to create one or select an existing one - that's all
By default your iPhoto library would be in the pictures folder on your boot drive - if you have moved it then it will be where you moved it to - you can search for it by spotlighting library6.iphoto - one of the files in your library or spotlighting iPhoto library

Can i use one datafile to create 2 tablespace.
Acutally i am creating new tablespace , i want to use existing datafile already used by one tablespace, but it almost empty..

Data file is phisical and tablespace is logical. A tablespace can have one or more data files but one datafile can be part of single tablespace only.
In your case the existing tablespace can be resized and with that space you can create a new tablespace with a new datafile

Can one monitor be used with 2 computers?

I have a PC and will be buying a Mac Pro soon. I really want to avoid using 2 monitors. I heard that it's possible for the Mac display to be used with 2 different computers. Is this possible? How would I switch between viewing my PC & viewing my Mac if I was just using the Mac display for both computers?

Your solutions are going to be an Apple monitor with a DVI KVM switch to share the monitor, or get a non-Apple monitor. At this point in time it may be better to get a non-Apple monitor with 2 switchable inputs as mentioned above. As the rest of the monitor industry has kept moving over the last couple of years, Apple monitor specs have not gone up and prices have not gone down, so Apple monitors are getting out of date and overpriced.
