You CAN sell your .ibooks file in other countries by uploading it to alternate categories.

hi, yes i use that, but what i'm asking is can i drag the songs into the order i want when i have grid or artist list. in artist list it just lists alphabetically, it does not list in playlist order. it seem s to me that only in 'list' view without images that i can drag songs around, which is useless.

As Ethmoid says, it is still a CDMA phone as I told you earlier, and it will not work with t-mobile. Even if Sprint unlocked the phone, it would only unlock the GSM side for international use. They will not unlock the GSM side for domestic use in the US.

I downloaded Maverick and now I can't open pages from the Dock. The Pages icon just jumps up and down abut doesn't open. However, I can one pages by clicking on the App. I have an iMac with iWork 08.

Since upgrading to Maverick from Mountain Lion I am unable to open Pages from the Dock. When I click on the pages icon in the dock the icon just keeps bouncing up and down. However, I can open pages by clicking on the icon in the Apps folder. No problems prior to upgrading to Maverick.

Quit Pages. Drag its icon out of the Dock. Create a new one by dragging the application into the Dock. Test.

Hi Eli,
You cannot place text outside the document margins without placing that text into a shape or a text box. Objects, including text boxes and the text they contain, may be placed outside the margins.
Jerry's solution involves moving the left document margin closer to the edge of the table. As you've seen, doing so also adds cmplications to managing text behaviour on the left side of the page.
Here's a variation on Jerry's suggestion that may be easier to manage:
In the Document Inspector, set the left margin to the position at which you want the keyword headings to begin. (0.5")
In the Layout Inspector, set the left margin to make the document margin + this layout margin equal to the position you want for the 'regular' margin fo the body of your document. (0.5" to give the default 1" body margin).
Assuming there is text before the first Keywordheading:
Click immediately after that text, press return to insert a paragraph break, then go Insert > Layout Break to insert a Layout break.
Type the single 'word' "Keywordheading" (without the quotes, and with no spaces), followed by a return, then go Insert > Layout Break to insert a second layout break.
Double click Keywordheading to select it.
Apply any formatting you want (I used a two point larger font size and Bold) for the heading.
In the Layout inspector, set the left margin to zero.
You now have a 'master copy' for your keyword heading, which can be copied, then pasted to each location you want this type of heading to appear.
Select the first Layout Break, the line with 'Keywordheading', and the second Layout break, as shown in the image.
Copy.
Click immediately after the text preceding the next Keyword heading.
Press return, then Paste.
Repeat as needed.
If you have alrady entered the text for these headings, you can use these steps to move them into the keyword heading spaces:
For each heading:
Select the words that make up the heading. Cut (command-X)
Doubleclick 'Keywordheading'. Go Edit > Paste and Match Style.
Repeat for next heading.
If you have not yet entered the text for these headings:
Doubleclick 'Keywordheading' to select it.
Type the heading.
Repeat.
Note that after inserting these heaings, you can copy the three lines (Layout break, word(s)&return, Layout break) of any of them, then replace the text of that heading with the text of a new heading.
Within the indented parts between headings, bulleted lists will behave normally.

Is it possible to have the favorites toolbar displayed as 'pinned favorites' on the Windows 7 Taskbar?
I know I can just drag an favorite from the Favorites Toolbar to the Firefox Quicklaunch icon,
but it looks really ugly;
It shows the default Firefox favicon with the web address partially displayed instead of the name
I have given it on the Bookmarks Toolbar.
Is there a way to preserve the favicon, and have the Favorites name displayed instead?

Becoming a publisher on the iBook Store outside the USA

I recently applied to publish books on the iBook Store filling out the requested field as suggested by some users for non-US residents.
I still would like to receive some clarifications on the process and the rules governing book publishing for European residents. What are the requirements to publish ?
The following are my concerns:
Is it allowed to be a personal or legal entity in Europe and publish on the iBook Store ?
Is it required to have a Tax Identification Number in the USA to publish paid editions ?
Is it required to have a USA credit card or bank account ?
What about the USA witholdings required by law for Italy ?

Yes you can redownload the book from the iBook store as many times as you wish. You can do the same with apps from the app store.

Can one connect multiple NetStreams to the same peerID?

I think I would like to separate the audio and video publishing and playing so that I can fine tune permissions (e.g. publish audio but not video to some users but not others).
Equally, are there issues with publishing two separate NetStreams on the same p2p connection?
Initially I thought this would be possible, but I am having problems playing streams when connecting users on different ip addresses.

You can play or publish as many streams as you wish on the same connection. Just mind the bandwidth.
However, publishing audio and video on different streams may not be a good idea as they're sure to be out of sync.
To save bandwidth and play only the audio of an audio/video stream set NetStream's receiveVideo to false.
Or, in your fine-tuned permissions scenario, you can publish one stream with audio only and one with audio/video. A little redundant but audio datarate is small and may be worth it.

Do iBooks work outside the U.S.?

Is iBooks limited to only the U.S. market? Does, say, the E.U. have their own iBooks store? If I buy an iBook in the U.S. and move to Europe, will it be supported there?

If you buy a book in the US, it is downloaded to your device, and of course you can read it anywhere in the world. On the other hand, there are many places in the world where the local iBookstore does not have as many books for sale as the one for the US.

How can one find out who made the Garageband song 'For the Mind'

I ask because I have believed for 5 years that I did, it is in my projects folder from 2004. On Saturday I was playing with a new Apple laptop at JB Hi-Fi, I opened the Garageband folder and saw 'For the Mind'. I got a shock, then when I played it I went cold as it was as exactly my version! Either (and this is always a possibility) I am delusional, or I remember uploading a few things in my early use of Garageband, and somehow Apple has paid me a huge compliment and used my project as an example. I would love to know about this, it is driving me crazy now that I don't know. Can anyone shed any light on this please?

Please don't rant at people who are trying to help you. I can tell my own compositions from others', and I'm not paranoid enough to suspect Apple to secretly search my hard drive for songs they can steal and publish as their own.
(And you still haven't answered my question as to how you think they got your song ...)
