Can only bring some CSV's online on one specific host

Hi.
I have a three node Hyper-V (2012 R2) cluster.
It has 12 CSV's connected. Two of the CSV's can only be brought online on one of the hosts. It seems, they are locked to that host in some way.
The end result is that when I take that host down for maintenance, the two CSV's go offline and all VM's on them, crash.
I suspect a particular VM of causing this but I don't know how to fix the problem.

What size are the CSV and is the storage connected via iSCSI, Fibre or SMB?
If Fibre or iSCSI, check that the SAN is configured to allows all three hosts to connect to the storage group and each has access to all LUNS from a SAN point of view. If iSCSI check the Initiator and the MPIO settings on all three host etc.
With regards to the Access denied, have a scan through this link it maybe of help and check if the VM worker process (VMMS) has the relevant permissions on the CSV volume.

If possible, I think i would attempt to move the VMs of the storage, remove and re-present it or increase the size of the other CSV. The number of CSV is down to design, connections the SAN can support and various other things and although 12 is a lot of
CSV for three nodes, as mentioned above it should work and there are many cluster with a lot more.
I know its a pain, but I would really try to run the validation wizard to check widows updates match etc. Also have you checked all firmware updates for HBAs or NICs etc?

I can only see some of the information of my Facebook friends in my Contacts. For example, a friend has a birthday today. I received an email that she and another friend have birthdays this week. I received a notification on my iPhone and iPad that her birthday was today. It was never displayed in my Notification Center or Calendar beforhand, like it's displayed for other friend's (for other friends, it's displayed in the Notification Center, with the Calendar icon, 1 day before). I looked at every setting I could think of and the Help pages on Facebook. Nothing is working. My friend with the birthday today has her birthday openly listed on her Profile information on her Facebook page. In my contacts, her Facebook email (the one Facebook assigns you when you join) is listed. However her picture and birthday are not listed. I displayed my Facebook Contacts only, and roughly 20 showed up and not the rest. It's like the devices are not recognizing those people and putting their information in the respective places. I have an iPad 3rd Gen, iPhone 5, and MacBook Pro (purchased in January 2013. I hope that helps) and ALL the software updates are current. Can anyone help? Also, my MacBook cannot access my Contacts from Yahoo. Despite my typing in the correct password repeatedly as well as deleting and adding the Yahoo account again. I have a wireless windows laptop that can connect to the internet fine, but my iMac, that is connected by ethernet cable through the wireless router can only access some. It can, for example, connect to this site, and yahoo, but can't connect to youtube, or mysace.

So, we've used same Layout and change data in KP26 directly for testing.
(Only period 1,2,11 in 2010 can be changed, other periods remind the same)
Second testing, we've change data in period 3-10 & 12, and it showed the following message.

my total library is 680 mb, nowhere close to the 2.08 in the pictures folder. I am obviously messing up.
Actually you’re not.
The iPhoto Window reports the size of the library that would result if you exported all the current versions +and nothing else+ to a folder on the desktop.
The iPhoto Library Folder contains the Original, Modified and thumbnail versions of your pics. It also contains various cache and database files +all of which are necessary+ for the working of the Library.
Don't change anything in the iPhoto Library Folder via the Finder or any other application. iPhoto depends on the structure as well as the contents of this folder. Moving things, renaming things or otherwise making changes will prevent iPhoto from working and could even cause you to damage or lose your photos.
You can run a Library on an external disk:
1. Quit iPhoto
2. Copy the iPhoto Library Folder as an entity from your Pictures Folder to the External Disk.
3. Hold down the option (or alt) key while launching iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library' and navigate to the new location. From that point on this will be the default location of your library.
4. Test the library and when you're sure all is well, trash the one on your internal HD to free up space.

Can only open some JPEG files in Camera Raw through Bridge CS3

I'm running Bridge CS3 version 2.0.0.975. I always edit my JPEG files through Camera Raw in Bridge CS3. I only have to Right-Click on the file and select "Open in Camera Raw...". However, I've come into a situation where some jpg files will not open this way; the option is not even there.
I have made sure to tick the box in preferences under Behavior "Double-Click Edits Camera Raw Settings in Bridge", and also tick the box under Thumbnails -> Performance and File Handling "Prefer Adobe Camera Raw for JPEG and TIFF Files.
These files were originally 16bit Grayscale TIFF files, but I changed them to RGB 8bit JPEG files.
Also, I know the program works because I navigate to an older photo I worked which is a JPEG and the "Open in Camera Raw..." option is there when I Right-Click, but then I navigate back to the image I want to edit, and the option is not there.

That's a fundamental problem right there, and a clue in all this. You should be able to see JPEGs in the Open As Camera Raw dialog.
What happens if you type in the name?
I'm almost convinced you have a file named .jpg but with a different image format inside. Can you put one of these files online for others to try to open?

Can only see some videos that are on camera's SD card

I would like to be able to directly import videos from my camera's SD card into iPhoto, but when I put the card in my Mac, only some of the videos show up. If I look in Finder, I can see all the clips, open them in Quicktime, export them to the computer's drive, and then import them into iPhoto (all one at a time), but obviously that is a pain. I apparently can't use the import function in iPhoto to manually import the files from the SD card, because when I try it tells me the fileare in an unreadable format. (The camera records video in AVCHD format, and stores the data in a folder structure that shows up as a package in Finder. iPhoto doesn't let me open the package to go through the folders from its Import browser window, so I can only try to open the top folder, which iPhoto apparently can't parse.)
Any ideas welcome.

Sorry it took so long for me to get back to this. The linked support article addresses the issue directly (thank you both), but the method recommended there (importing the entire AVCHD folder structure) didn't solve the problem. The small number of videos that iPhoto could not see originally also did not get imported, though the ones that it could originally see, did. Luckily since the percentage seems to be small (~10%), it is not prohibitive to open them one by one in Quicktime, re-export them, and then import them into iPhoto. Hopefully this will be fixed in the future. Thank you all for your suggestions.

Can I dedicate the 5 GHz band to one specific devise?

I've got the new Dual band n Airport Extreme (AE) that I would like to dedicate the 5GHz band to one specific devise and have all others use 2.4. My goal is giving the most 'horsepower' to my work laptop upstairs, all others can use the 2.4. Being on another floor, I need all the help I can get with strong connections and good performnace.
Short and sweet bullets include:
Current Devices:
-Dell laptop for work. 5GHz band card will be installed shortly.
-iMac, Lion OS, 3 mos old. Recently hard wired to the AE as perofrmance was spotty when connected wirelessly even though the AE is 20 ft away.
-iPhone 4s, iPhone 4, iPad (1st gen)
-HP printer wirelessly connected to the AE
-An old Droid I connect to the internet once in a blue moon
-A blue ray player (rarely use to stream Nexflix)
-HD TV with access to Netflix, etc (rarly use)
Smat folks will quickly notice only the laptop can access the 5GHz band given my iMac (only devise 5Ghz) is hardwired. That will change....Apple TV will be purchased. Also, 1 yr old son may say "hey this cord looks great, why I dont I pull it to see what falls first, the iMac or AE". This question answers near-term questions as I expand devices and helps really prepair for my next 2-3 devices.
I understand the process of setup a seprate name for the 5GHz band. Guidance needed- How do you "point" the laptop to the 5GHz band. I've looked fo the option on my iMac (previos to hardwiring it) wiht no luck. My chaallenge is figuring out how have the laptop read adn connect to the 5GHz band automatically...I don't have the setup to automatically have devised choose which band whey would like to use. i've looked numerous arcieles and I can find where people describe in sufficien detail >>>>Please be as specific as possible on each step is required to get my laptop to recogize and connect with the 5GHz band.

1- Can I tell which devise is connected with an n, g, b, whatever band? I dont want anything degreading the bandwitch of the 2.4 GH2 band.
Can you tell which devises are using those bands (n,g, ?) bands. As i understand, in this specific case, if I have 20 different devisce all using the 4Ghz band, I want to make sure my laptop gets the best performance.

You already have assigned a separate name to the 5 GHz band on the router, so to have a Mac connect to that band, you would do the following:
Open System Preferences (gear icon) on the dock
Open Network
Click on AirPort or Wi-Fi
Click Advanced at the lower right
Make sure that the name of the 5 GHz network is first in line at the top of the connection order list. Drag it to the top if it's not already there.
Delete any other networks that you no longer need by clicking on them to highlight them, and then clicking the - (minus) button at the bottom of the list.
Make sure that there is a check mark next to "Remember networks this computer has joined"
No other boxes should be checked
Then open Macintosh HD > Applications > Utilities > KeyChain Access, locate the listing for the networks that you no longer needed, and delete the entry for each of them.

The window will display the MAC address of each wireless device along with info about the connection. You will need to do a bit of investigative work to figure out which MAC address matches up with each wireless device.

No, that is a common tale that we hear, but it is not correct. Each wireless device will connect to either 2.4 GHz or 5 Ghz based on its capabilities. It will do the same as far as whether it connects at "n", "g", or "b" speeds. For example, my laptop connects at "n" speeds while my old iPhone connects at "g" speed. The slower iPhone connection has virtually no impact on the "n" connection with the laptop.
I used a wi-fi analyzer to determine the best channel, and it indicated chanel 14 was the best.
If you are in the U.S. or Canada, then you can only use channels 1-11 on the 2.4 GHz band. The U.K. uses channels 1-13.

One user can't see presence and send IM to one specific colleague

One of our J4W users have a very strange issue, but it's only affected that user (at least what I know of).
The user can't see presence status or send a IM to one specific user. If she tries to send a PM, she gets this message: "Message to <person> could not be delivered".
However, she can see presence and send IM's to other users just fine.
I have tried with version 9.1.2/3 . I have not seen this issue on other users.

Yes you are right, our CUP domain is not the same as our email domain. I guess I have to change the CUP domain then. Do you know any guides to do this? I guess I have to restart the CUP server after changing domain?
We are also seeing inconsistences that can arise from adding Outlook contacts, so this should solve alot of issues for us.
