Cannot charge ipad 4 buy using the cable provided with purchase. Only way of charging is via electrical outlet. Can someone please advise

The quickest way (and really the only way) to charge your iPad is with the included 10W or 12W (5W on Mini) USB Power Adapter. iPad will also charge, although more slowly, when attached to a computer with a high-power USB port (many recent Mac computers) or with an iPhone Power Adapter (5W). When attached to a computer via a standard USB port (2.5W, most PCs or older Mac computers) iPad will charge very slowly (but iPad indicates not charging). Make sure your computer is on while charging iPad via USB. If iPad is connected to a computer that’s turned off or is in sleep or standby mode, the iPad battery will continue to drain.
Apple recommends that once a month you let the iPad fully discharge & then recharge to 100%.

Either will work. 4G only works in Canada and the USofA. In foreigh countries the New iPad will fall back to 3G if you have a local sim and iPad data plan from a local provider.

You can purchase an adapter from apple that uses the monitor cable from the projector, its the same one that is probably connecting either your laptop or school workstation. On the projector control you might need to refresh the source.

Not sure what you are asking. A download is a download. what you do with the file afterwards is entirely up to you. If you mean to install Mac software on Win, then no, this can't be done. Furthermore you also would have to have a proper Win serial.

Hello, just got a new Encore mini and I have a quesiton about charging. The only reference I saw was for using the USB cable to charge through a USB port on a computer. Can I also plug the USB cable into a USB electrical adapter and charge directly from an electrical outlet without damaging the tablet, or must it always and only be charged through a computer USB port? SlipStream is an accelerator for dial up.I want to update to 8.0.1,but it doesn't appear to be compatible with SlipStream. My local tech support (Pennswoods) doesn't think it's compatible. Sorry, you are stuck with whatever version of Slipstream that your ISP has available. They should know which versions of Firefox are supported by their accelerator plugin, because your ISP is more than likely paying Slipstream for every update that is necessary. <br />

Beyond that, the only thing that I can suggest is to see if the [https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/add-on-compatibility-reporter/ Addon Compatibility Reporter] extension forces that accelerator plugin work in Firefox 8, with the compatibility override. But, if that plugin hasn't been updated for a Firefox 4+ version at all, I doubt if it will work even with the ACR addon.

so i have to force it exit everytime before i shut down the computer!
and it is pretty slow for Mail to quit, i only have 3 accounts there with one i never use.
i never met this problem before.

How can I edit an iMovie 10.0.3 project on a different computer with an older version?

I am trying to caption a video using the Titles feature. However, 10.0.3 has a bug that won't allow font changes in titles, which is making the captions inconsistent in terms of size and font, which looks terrible. How can I fix this? Is there any way to share the project with a different computer with an older version of iMovie, to make the edits there? So far, the video will transfer but the other project files (including the captions) won't open in the new version.

You can't use a project created in iMovie 10 with earlier iMovie versions. If you are only adding titles you could always re-import the video into a Mac running an earlier version of iMovie or share the iMovie 10 video to file and import into the earlier version.
Some titles in iMovie 10 do allow changing font and size though. Its a matter of trying out the various options. If you are running Yosemite its worth upgrading to version 10.0.6 which I think improved title adjustment options as well as a number of other things.

It has been reported by other uses that RealPlayer is having some compatibility problems with Firefox. I believe this is mostly notorious with RealPlayer Plugin Record Plugin, but it may be the same thing here. Please contact RealPlayer developers for support.
