Can only get 1/2 vol on any application
Was listening to music at half vol (using keyboard button), put mac on SLEEP, returned 1 hour later and couldn't increase the volume. Have checked all (?) volume control settings/places, reset PRAM & SMC, restarted the mac. It's a 2007 iMac 8,1 (intel dual) running OS X 10.6.8. External speakers, headphones= same results: can barely hear anything.

After moving to iCloud I can only get my email through the cloud, no new emails are making it to my home computer and .mac account. Does anyone have any advice on how to fix this issue?

I am trying to upgrad the hard drive in my mac book pro using the disk utility in an attempt to clone my old hard drive. I can only get so far throughj the process where its about to start cloing when I get a message " error 254". Any idea what that means and how do I get around this issue so I can use my new hard drive? Thanks for your input.
VinceConnect the HDD to your MBP. Open Disk Utility>Erase and drag the HDD icon inrt the Name field. The format should be Mac OS Extended (Journaled). Click on the Erase button.
Then try the clone process again. You may use Disk Utility>Restore or a third party cloning application such as Carbon Copy Cloner or Super Duper.

I have a apple component AV TV out cable (red, green,blue + red,white) and have had this connected to TV for about 6 months working fine. I moved the TV disconnected cables to move now I can only get video and no sound back on TV. Any suggestions ?

I see you are having sound issues when you hookup your tv to your notebook with an HDMI cable.
I would be happy to help you. Firstly, a few more details about your notebook would be helpful, as there are many different versions of the HP 2000 Notebook. Please read the following documents, if you need help in finding your product/model number and OS version.
How Do I Find My Model Number or Product Number?
Is the Windows Version on My Computer 32-bit or 64-bit?
Has your HDMI/TV connection ever had sound before, and if so were there any updates that could have affected it?

In the following link, please pay particular attention to the section on Troubleshooting TV setup as a second monitor.
Using Two or More Monitors with One Computer (Windows 8)
Other things that could help would be to insure that you have updated all the video and audio related drivers for your notebook. The drivers can normally be found from the product page for your notebook, or from the original chipset manufacturer. I would link that page to this, but I need the exact product/model number to get the right page for you.
Another thing that could help with drivers is the: HP Support Assistant as it can automate the driver updates for you.

Playlist order - i can only get it in alphabetical order
when i set up itunes on my pc i can only get the playlist SONGS in alphabetical order, either descending or ascending.
is there a way that i can place my individual playlist songs in any order i want?

Do you have a video card with at least 512 MB of vRAM?
I only have 256 MB vRAM on my older iMac and still have 3D capability in PS CS5, but not in PS CC. The newer versions of PS require 512 MB in order to enable 3D. -
Can only get the "Draft" stamp when insert customer stamp with C#+JS
I am trying to insert customer stamp in batch files with C#+JS.
My JS works well in Acrobat. However, it doesn't work when use C#+JS. I always get the Acrobat's "Draft" stamp other than my own ones (the AP value is confirmed correct).
In c#, it runs as this ( with the objectype.InvokeMember())
1. initial an annotation with addAnnot first and get the properties object with method of getProp().
2. Set the type entry of the properties object as "Stamp"
3. With setProp(), modify the annotation to a Stamp annotation, and then get the properties object of the Stamp annotation.
4. Set the entries (rect, page, AP ) of the properties object. Then use setProp() again to modify the properties of the Stamp annotation.
The program runs without any error message. But I can only get the default stamp "Draft".
One thing I found so far, in JS console in Acrobat, if I set the AP properties AFTER set the annotation type to "Stamp", it also get the "Draft" stamp only. as this,

prop = annot.getProps();
prop.type = "Stamp";
annot.setProps(prop);
prop = annot.getProps();
prop.page = 0;
prop.rect = [0, 0, 100, 100];

But, the problem is, in C#, the AP properties can only be set after set the annotation type as Stamp (step 4). I think this might be the reason, but I don't know how to get over this.

I paid for CC in October and now when I try to download 2014 I am told that I can only get trial versions. What can I do to re-install my account?

Do you mean the projects are merged in RH but do not appear
in the output. There are any number of reasons why this may be.
Check that all the CHMs are in the same directory for a start. If
they are, check for conditional build tags. Come back if you have
checked these things and we'll go down some other lines. -
I can only get 3G - no GSM signal
Hi,
I recently replaced a broken screen on my friend's 4S. I have done this a few times before with no problem.
This time, since turning back on, it initially said Searching.. and would not pick anything up. I read about changing the date and rebooting, so I did this and it went straight to No Service.
Ever since, I can only get signal in 3G areas. No service anywhere else.
I have checked and re-checked the 2 antennas inside, and both are connected properly.
What else could it be??
