Can only imbed adobe 7 documents into MS Excel 2003

I have a client that has adobe 7 pro installed on her xp
workstation with office 2003. she uses the insert object function
in MS excel to imbed .pdfs. in the insert menu the only option is
to insert "adobe 7 documents"
when she emails these documents to coworkers that only have
adobe reader 8 they get a message "cannot open source application
for this object"
If I uninstall adobe 7 pro from her workstation the menu in
excel change back to insert "adobe documents"
how can i change this so it will insert "adobe documents" not
specifically "adobe 7 documents" ?

Embed a word document into an excel document.

Hi,
I'm trying to embed a word document into an excel document.
It works fine until I save the excel doc, after which the ability to open the embedded document doesn't work.
I'm using OSX 10.9.2 and office 11.

Acrobat 9/Vista - Can only covert Office 2007 documents to PDF once before having to stop acrtoray.e

I have Acrobat 9 Pro Extended, Office 2007, and Vista Ultimate 64 with UAC off. I can only convert from an Office document (.doc, .xls) to PDF once before getting problems, after which I have to close the acrotray.exe process in Task Manager (or restart Vista) to get it to work again.
After I successfully convert an Office document, on future attempts it says "Adobe Acrobat is not activated. Cannot create the PDF file."
If in Word I instead choose to Print to Adobe PDF, it says "Word is preparing to background print the document:" but then hangs and I have to stop the program. An error box then says "Adobe PDF creation cannot continue because Acrobat is not activated."
After ending the acrotray.exe process or restarting the computer it works again, but like before only one time. Opening Acrobat and choosing Repair Acrobat Installation doesn't fix the problem unless I restart, which would fix it anyway.
Is there a permanent solution to this issue?

          When u try to convert word/XLS/TXT to PDF i get this error and when i kill the acrotray process from taskmanager i am able to generate the PDF.
Can anyone of u please let me know what is the problem about and how to solve it.

How do I insert an Adobe Reader document in to a Microsoft Word document? I have the Windows 7 operating system.

You can insert it as an object, via Insert - Object. You can't insert its contents into the Word file directly, unless you copy them and then paste them in your document or convert the PDF to a Word file (not possible with just the free Reader).

You didn’t indicate whether you are using Pages ’09 v4.+ or the latest Pages v5(.2) release. To send an email with either Word or PDF attachment from within Pages:
Pages ’09 v4+
Pages menubar > Share (category Send via Mail) > (select Word (.doc) or PDF). Mail will launch into a compose window with the document already attached.
Pages v5+
Pages toolbar > Share > Send a Copy > Email > (select Word (.doc/x) or PDF - best). Mail will behave as above.
Note: Either version of Pages is not an MS Word clone and it must translate content into the Microsoft document architecture. If you must have maximum Word document accuracy, you will need Office for Mac 2011, and the associated MS Word application that produces native .docx format.

Can I append an XML Document into another?

I have a large xml document which I open into coldfusion (mx
7), and then a smaller group of files that are opened into thier
own xml objects. After some customization of xml text values, I
want to append the smaller xml documents into the larger document
at specific positions within the document tree.
I have the code that I thought would do this, using an
arrayappend function, but what happens is that only the root
element of the smaller (inserted) xml document is placed into the
main document.
Is this possible, or do I need to modify the code so that the
entire tree of xml data that I am appending is created on the
fly?

Personally I do this with XSLT.
