in the manufacture or buying offices fields purchase
the Oracle Financials, so I wonder if Oracle Financials
are suitable for our company's daily operation? if
Oracle Financials are suitable for our company?
what's more, can we just purchase Financials modules?

yes and no . You need as well weblogic + soa files as the database schemas (soa_infra, mds...).

Time to time I've noticing server froze.You should find more details about this behavior in the server logs -- Your System Administrator should help here!
Can't ssh to Oracle Database (E-business Suite).This is an expected behavior if the server hangs. Can you find any errors in the database log file? Do you have sufficient space at the OS level? I believe this is not a ssh issue as it is more likely a Hardware/OS issue.

I check the host file and this is correctCheck Apache log files (error_log* and access_log* under $LOG_HOME/ora/10.1.3/Apache directory).
Also, run AutoConfig and make sure it completes successfully.

Our business location is not shown on iMaps

Black Bear Lodge, formerly Black Bear Resort, is located at 310 Black Bear Ridge, Sautee Nacoochee, GA 30571. This location is not found on iMaps and I would like for it to be added. Other mapping services have had a submission on the map to add a location, but I have not been able to locate this type of form for iMaps. Any advice for having our business location added would be greatly appreciated.

You are not addressing Apple here. This is a user to user technical support forum. Apple maps uses data from a number of sources, and if you are in the map, you can find a link for corrections, but not additions. You can try the feedback page, but I'm not sure that will get you any closer than you are now. http://www.apple.com/feedback and click on the appropriate link. I've never seen a schedule for how Apple maps are updated from data received from the mapping services they use.

Can no longer toggle to enlarge Twitter embed box; can no longer select category on Movable Type; works for other browsers.

I can no longer enlarge the Twitter embed box or even select and scroll in order to copy and paste all the code. Also, in Movable Type I can no longer select the category for our entries. So "boxes" aren't working. They do work in Safari, so it looks like a browser issue. I'm on Firefox 16.0.1 and Mac OS X 10.7.5. Problem just started on October 12.

You may have a problem with the "can't delete" or it may have been an isolated out of synch condition.
I have noticed that the "express" watch/delete process only works when you watch from oldest to newest.
also,there is that ridiculous extra step where it alerts you that there are no more episodes left. How about replacing that with an episode counter that tells how many are left when given the choice to watch more.
After the last one, just move on like it works for everything else. Whoever had the idea to add the "no more" message must have done it intending to iritate cusrtomers. That is the only possible reason for it.

There is no oracle-validated RPM for OL6 yet, as there are no certified Oracle applications for OL6. Keep in mind that most Oracle applications won't install on OL6 yet and none of them are supported yet either. You're better off staying on OL5U6.

How can our customer edit our Captivate 6 content with Captivate 5?

Our company has decided to dive into the e-learning business and create e-learnings. We just purchased a Captivate 6 subscription, unfortunately before finding out our customer uses Captivate 5. He would like to edit our files once in a while when he needs to if he doesn't have enough time to have us do it.   Is there anyway he can edit content produced in Captivate 6 with his Captivate 5. Can I export files of a certain type that he can in turn import and add to his Captivate 5 and edit himself? In other words, what kind of files can I export from Captivate 6 than he can import with Captivate 5 and make small changes to?

Yes a business service can call a proxy service......for example set your PS as http proxy service and set the endpoint url of PS in the business service..... Lets say when you have three service callouts to be done...the third service callout needs to retried in case of any failures, then you may move the third service callout to a new proxy service and use the buisness service for calling it,,, use the BS retry settings for retyring..

2) Where can i download the oracle applications software
3) I am currently working as oracle DBA, so i want to enhance the dba skills to oracle application, so where can i find further help,documentation related to oracle applications and dba related to that.

Oracle Applications is an integrated ERP solution, with Finance, Manufacturing and CRM modules. Please visit appsnet for further information.
Unlike other Oracle products, Oracle doesnot give free software downloads for Oracle Applications. They were once giving trial versions for about 40 USD. Now I am not sure, please check up Oracle website www.oracle.com. Look for link on "e-business suite" under the 'products' directory.
If you can get hold of documentation on 11i, you can check out System Administration and Application Object Library (AOL) modules, these fall in your area. You can find this on oracle website or metalink.
Be aware that general Oracle DBA on 8i or 9i is a different ballgame than managing 11i. Lot of websites are available for these harried people, and for more information, you can visit the websites www.appsdba.com, www.oncalldba.com or do a general google search.
If you can get hold of a book "OCP for Oracle Financials 11.0" by Christopher Allen and Vivian Chow, this has good documentation on above two modules. But this is in 11.0, not 11i.
