Can polymorphism be implemented with the GOOP toolkit? And has anyone experimented with ObjectVIEW? How does it compare to the GOOP toolkit?
I have not experimented with the GOOP toolkit yet, but have done a little with ObjectVIEW.

You might want to try contacting Apple for assistance by going to https://expresslane.apple.com, then click See All Products and Services>iTunes>iTunes Store>Passwords & Security Questions>Lost or Forgotten Apple ID password. They should be able to explain what's going on and help you reset the password for the old ID if necessary. The call should be free.

WiFi will work, cellular will work but they may not be able to access LTE, they will have to send it back to you for the warranty work.

36 Median method
13 Moving average
94 Linear regression
etc.
Can anyone pls guide me how does the system do the calculation and how to validate those calculations!!

New to using Firefox with MAC: How does one save a single jpeg from the internet, similar to using the right mouse click on a pc?
If your question comes about because you have a single button mouse, it's time to visit your local computer store and get a ''real'' mouse for that MAC. I don't "get" Apple, they sell their hardware for almost twice what a comparable PC would sell for - and then they leave out what is probably the most important time saving control, the right-button.

With Mavericks, how does one sync calendars and contacts with iPads/iPods without wifi?
Syncing with a cable via iTunes has been removed in Mavericks: you are expected to use iCloud or possibly another cloud-based service, which obviously requires you to have access to the internet - requiring wi-fi for the iOS devices. If you have a wired internet connection on the Mac it may be possible to set up internet sharing, where the Mac becomes in effect a wifi station to which devices can connect. I assume this facility is still available in Mavericks - you should ask in the Mavericks forum how to set this up.

Since converting my mobileme account into an icloud account, my free 5GB of storage has become a paid for extra 20GB without my requesting it. How can this happen, and has anyone else had this happen to them?
To clarify: you are not being charged for the extra storage - it's complimentary to reflect the fact that you had storage in MobileMe. At the end of June it will disappear unless you care to pay to renew it.

How does Mercalli compare with FCP X's Image Stabilizer?
Last night we were shown some videos which had been stabilised using Mercalli.

The steadiness was excellent but as we were not shown the original footage there was no way of judging the improvement.
Has anyone used this system and if so how does it compare with FCP X's stabiliser?aside Luis' excellent reply:

* poor-man's-Compressor is the free tool Mpeg Streamclip.
It offers in its various Options lots of settings, you usually would do in Compressor. Just share a Master from FCPX, open it in Streamclip and then 'export' it in any compressed form you like, e.g. reducing resolution, frame-rate, bit-rate. Less convenient than Compressor, which would allow to add your very own settings/'destinations' into FCPX... but cost-free.- -
I updated to itunes 11.1 in Windows 8 & now there isn't a device tab in the top right hand corner or the sidebar. When I ran diagnostics it didn't pick up my Ipad or Iphone. Has anyone else had this problem & does anyone know how to fix it?

HI, I just bought an Imac G5 with 10.4.11 OS in it but I can't do much with it. I can't even wach Netflix on it because it needs a newer version of browser but I can't download newer version because My Mac's OS is to old, at least 10.6 needed. Can anybody can help Me? Thank you
No, sorry. It was only ever available on Disc. You can search places like eBay or Amazon for a Retail Copy. Do not get the Grey Set as they are machine specific. I don't think 10.5 will let you do much more than 10.4 as you said you needed at least 10.6 which is not possible due to the age of your Mac.
