Can Primary Account Holder See My Messages?

I'm on a plan where I am on a sub account.  Everything is in my friend's name as SS#.  Can she see, online,  the picture/video or text messages I send and receive?

As long as you are not uploading the pictures to be viewed on the Verizon website! Any pictures uploaded to Verizon to be shared that way, can be viewed by the account holder. If you are just sending and receiving them from one phone to another, then the sender and recipient are the only ones who will see them.

  • Primary account holder problems, what can i do?

My ex and I shared an account 5 years ago that was under her name. Since then I took over the phone bill after we split. I went thru the whole process with the AOL and she got a seperate account. Everything is switched over to my name and I am the primary account holder. Im the only one that can access the account and the only one that knows the passcode. Its completely under my responsibility! Up to today, I find out that SSN on the account is still under her name. So, all of the good credit and on time payments over the last 5 years is going under her name. How can I go about changing the SSN to my own and still keep the good credit i have verizon? Is it my fault for not going over everything with verizon?

I was at the store but they couldnt do much. I called CS, They needed my ex's verbal approve to make me primary account holder. Luckily, I still have my ex's number (dont know why). She said that account belongs to me and she parted completely with that account and created a new one. We both told CS that we gone thru this process 5 years ago. Now theyre gonna call me back and see if I have to pay a deposit to switch the account. *** is that?

  • Re: change of primary account holder

I have a very similar problem. I cannot set up my email on a new device because I haven't got the password and one of the security questions expects an answer which doesn't correspond to whaqt it should be. My husband is now incapacitated and he is the primary account holder. I am told I have to close the account and start a new one and I don't feel up to doing that.
    How can you help?
    Thnak you.

  • Verizon Cloud login for iPad and PC for second line (not primary account holder line)

I am the primary account holder but the primary line is associated with my wife's phone so I added Verizon Cloud to the second line which is my phone.
I downloaded the Verizon Cloud app to my iPhone and backed up my data. The Verizon Cloud app did not ask for a password and must have recognized that my device was authorized.
However, I can not access my Verizon Cloud "account" for my line from my iPad or PC. When I use the account name and password for My Verizon (which is associated with the primary line) I get an error.
During the setup process of the Verizon Cloud app on my phone I supplied my email address but was never asked to setup a password for my line/device.
How can I access my line's Verizon Cloud storage from my iPad or PC?
Does Verizon Cloud only work for the primary account holder?
    Thanks!
    David

I guess I should have read the Verizon Cloud FAQ #2. For anyone interested in the same answer I'll post it here:
Can other individuals on my Verizon Wireless account access my Verizon Cloud storage account? No, your Verizon Cloud account is tied to your own individual mobile number. No one else on your account (including the Account Owner) can sign in to your Verizon Cloud account without access to your password for My Verizon.
If you’re the Account Owner or want to manage the content of a different mobile number, you’ll need tosign in to My Verizon with that mobile number and password, or create a new My Verizon account for that number if it doesn’t already exist.

  • Is there a way to see previous data usage if not the primary account holder?

I am not the primary account and therefore cannot look at bills to see previous usage. Is there anywhere on the website I could find this? I know in the past, I've been able to get the last 3 months (either from website or phone app, I don't remember which), but now Verizon has gone backwards and made it harder to get that information. Perhaps they don't want us to easily find how much is being used so they can bill us for extra overage charges, especially now that data is where their big bucks come from???

Only the primary I believe can. It has always been that way from what I remember.

  • Change of primary account holder information

The primary account owner of the family plan I am in died and I'm just wondering if it's possible to take over the account but not change anything to my current plan. I just want the account to be under my name but remain the same as it is

yeah i have that i just wanted to make sure nothing on my account would change
It really depends on what plan you had before and how many lines you'll have after the AOL.

  • Primary account holder is buying iPhone 4, then giving it to me?

My mom is the primary line on our Verizon account. She is elegible to upgrade to the iPhone 4, but I am not. We want to pre-order the phone for me on the 3rd, then swap our upgrade dates when the phone comes in and activate the phone in my name. I've read things about manually having to change the MEID number to the MDN number if that's what we do but I have no idea what that means. Lots of thanks to whoever can answer this for me.

OP, Suzy is correct but there is one thing to note here which is very important.  What kind of phone does your mother have now?  The iPhone requires a data plan.  If your mother does not currently have a smart phone, then when she buys the iPhone she will have to add a data plan.  When she goes to downgrade back to a non data plan, it may cause issues.  This may be less likely if you are on a family plan, because you are dealing with one account.  The only reason why I mention it is because last time I was in a VZW store there was someone next to me trying to argue with them to downgrade a line to a non-data plan, and even though they had a non-smart phone ready to activate the CS rep said they could not remove the data package because that's what they had signed up on the account with.  This did not make any sense to me because the data package is an "option" and not a minute plan, so it should be able to be removed and not breech a contract as long as you activate a phone that does not require a data plan instead.  I stayed out of it as it was not my business, but it may come up especially if you and your mother are on two separate plans.
[lol's for the random side note here...]
One more verification to my previous post regarding the iPhone.  Good luck kid.  : )

Move it to a disk image in the /Users/Shared/ folder, select the mounted image, choose Get Info from the File menu, and set it to ignore ownership or permissions.

  • Can't claim account holder status!

I have exactly the same problem that others have previously listed here, of not being able to claim account holder status on my account.  I spoke to BT about multiple accounts that I had attached to my customer number and requested that all would be removed except one under my current email address.  BT deleted the primary account and left me with a guest account which does not have the account holder status....cheers for that!!  Now I've been waiting three weeks, on and off chat, on and off the phone, multiple emails sent and absolutely no satisfactory conclusion to the issue.  Without account holder status I cannot use BTsport online or use BTcloud, thus I cannot access important backed up documents etc.  How on earth can I get someone to resolve this issue if I keep getting hung up on, or re-queued in chat?  This is appauling customer service for something that should be relatively easy to rectify!!  Please can anyone help?

I tried to edit my last message, but ran out of time. It is no longer relevant in the light of what I have been trying tonight.
My problem is becoming more clearly defined and it would appear that the reason I have no access to BT Wi-Fi and BT Mail is because I do not have a BT ID based on a BT Mail address.
After writing the last message I remembered that I had not installed the BT Wi-Fi app on my new Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 so I have just done so and the app will not accept my current BT ID (which is my Mail.com email address) and password. The error message says I must be a BT Broadband customer.  Reading the BT requirements again it would appear that I cannot have BT Wi-Fi unless I have as an ID a BT Mail or BT Yahoo! Mail address. The latter was deactivated by BT at my request. The fact that BT Wi-Fi is still running on my Galaxy S2 smartphone must be a hangover from my original ID based on my deactivated (or in the queue for deactivation) "*@btinternet" address.
For the record the BT ID based on my Mail.com address was set up by a BT staff member during a telephone conversation and she also suggested the password, which I am still using. Is that not a clue to the resolution of this problem? Let me have a new BT Mail address which I can use as my ID and everything will drop into place. Ha!
As an aside, I installed the BT Cloud Extra on my desktop PC and Galaxy Tab tonight. I used my Mail.com address, and it was accepted no bother at all.

  • How can I Delete a MobileMe Email Account and Kill Duplicate Messages?

When I select "All Inboxes" on my iPhone 4s, I see duplicates of each and every message I receive. Furthermore, the duplicate can't be deleted and I get an error message informing so! I suspect this phenomenon is occurring because I have both an iCloud and a MobileMe account. I want to cancel the MobileMe one.
    Here's the deal:
My iPhone 4s lists three email accounts, including a "MobileMe" one that I want to delete because I believe it is delivering duplicate messages. However, I can't seem to figure out how to delete the MobileMe's email account or, for that matter, MobileMe itself. Apple support screens refer to cancelling a MobileMe account but are not clear on how to actually do it.
    1. On the iPhone 4s, I click on the "Mail" icon at the bottom of the screen
    2. On a screen under the heading "Mailboxes," under "Inboxes," there are two that read exactly the same (I think one is iCloud and the other MobileMe).
    3. On the same screen, under "Accounts," I see an iCloud account logo, a Bellsouth/Yahoo account logo and a MobileMe account logo.
    4. I want to keep the iCloud and Bellsouth/Yahoo accounts but delete the MobileMe one but I can find no way on this screen or any other iPhone 4s screen to do so. Nor do I see any path to do so in iTunes. And the MobileMe account doesn't even show up in the Apple email app on the laptop to which I sync my iPhone.
If I go to www.me.com and log into my MobileMe account, there is no apparent way to disable, delete or otherwise cancel it. Why?
I am convinced that the simultaneous presence of both iCloud and MobileMe accounts is responsible for the double email messages when I select to view "All inboxes" on my iPhone. (A workaround is to simply select just one of the accounts, say, the iCloud one. Then I see only one copy of each message. That's OK but surely there is some way to kill off this redundant MobileMe account AND the duplicate messages, yes???

First, thanks for the reply. And, I believe you are exactly right that the names are the same. However, when I go (on my iPhone) as you suggest to "Settings," "Mail, Contacts, Calendars," only two accounts are showing; my Mac account and my Bellsouth one. If I select either, I get an option to delete but the duplicate "MobileMe" account does not appear. It only shows up, as described above, if I:
It's nutso, I admit, but true. Any other suggestions would be most welcome.

  • Family of 5, all use the same Apple ID/Password/Account.  In settings/messages/send recieve you can "check" my email and up to three phone numbers.  Essentially allowing all iMessages to be sent

Family of 5, all use the same Apple ID/Password/Account.  In settings/messages/send>recieve you can "check" my email and up to three phone numbers.  Essentially allowing all iMessages to be copied to shared account numbers.  Please help me figure out  how to prevent my children from recieving my text correspondence.

On the devices for the members of your family that you DO NOT want to see your iMessagees, go to
    Settings App
    Messages
    Send and Receive
You should see a list of available contacts which would make messages appear. Make certain that each family member has their own individual contact and NOT the same one that you use. I find it useful to have each family member have their own icloud email and use that for iMessaging my kids. My kids do not have iPhones, but if yours do, their phone number should be listed as well. For iPads and iTouches, use icloud email addresses. If you need to send a message to all 3 kids, say, you can just add all three emails to the To box on your iMessage.
    Hope that makes sense.

  • I am trying to change my secondary icloud to become my primary account.  When I try I keep getting a message to first delete my icloud from internet accounts then log back in.  I just cannot seem to figure out how to do this.  Any ideas?

I am trying to change my secondary icloud to my primary icloud.  I've read several posts but can't seem to get any of those to work.  It keeps telling me to change this I need to delete my icloud from internet accounts and sign back in.  How do I do this though?  When I go onto internet accounts, I don't see where I can manage this.  Any help would be greatly appreciated!

To change a secondary account you have to delete/sign out of both accounts.   After doing so, you can sign back in with the secondary account ID in System Preferences>iCloud and it will become the primary account.  To delete an account from System Preferences>Internet Accounts, select it on the left sidebar, then click the "-" icon at the bottom to delete it.
