Can publish preview start in the middle of a project?

I want to be able to preview the section I'm working on without having to watch the whole flash. Is this possible? It sure would save a lot of time!

I don't know the difference between those. It's an animation with multiple layers+many frames. I want to start at about 2/3 of the way down the timeline, and I want it to be previewed, not just watched on the stage.
How do you even get to gotoandplay? And how do I use it? (u can probably just tell me how to do that one command.) Please and thank you.

Yes you can start from where it failed.It depends on the process where the chain has failed.
Right click and see if you have option for repeat,
PC - Log -Failed Process -Right Click -Repeat(if system allows).

Preview starts saving the changes in pdf doc and leads to freezing

I was reading a book in preview and i did some highighting work in the ebook.
Preview started saving the document(showing increasing number of file saving 2,then 3.....so on it went till 8)
this actvity did not gave me any access to my document to scroll and study furthur and all of a sudden the fans started spining at the max speed,preview consuming at aroung 1.45gb of ram(i checked it from activity monitor)
as a result i had to force close preview
this proccess repeated everytime i opened the ebook(3-4 times i tried).
Can anyone help me out of this problem or i should think of adobe pdf reader rather than the preview.
Here is a snapshot it took while it was showing saving 2 documents

Horizontal scroll thumb to start in the middle?

Hi,
To centre the thumb on a horizontal scoll bar, to get it to start in the middle, I would have thought you set the following:
- Max = 100
- Min = 0
- Value = 50
But for some reason my scroll bars are starting from the far left. And any changes I make seem to make no difference.
Anyone else have this trouble?
I've tried the following as well:
- Max = 1150 (no. of pixels width of my image that I am scolling)
- Min = 0
- Value = 550
Although the thumb moves to the middle of the track in the artboard, within FC, but when I run the project or export it ... the thumb is at the 0 value (the far left)
Am I doing something wrong?

You can extend a ViewHandler where you can check if the user is requesting an allowed page:

Call list starts in the middle

I notice on my iPhone 4 that when I want to place a call from a previous call, the list always starts in the middle! I would have to either scroll up or touch the top to get to the most recent call. Did I miss a setting somewhere or is this a minor bug?

When I first got the phone, it used to show the top of the list. Does anyone know if this is a deliberate change in iOS, or whether it is a bug?
Mine always displays in the exact middle of the list (I can tell because I can see the scroll bar). I then always have to scroll back up the list manually to view the most recent calls at the top of the page, which seems counter-intuitive, considering the page is called "Recents". You'd expect it to immediately show the most recent.
I've seen other posts about this issue, so I know it's not an uncommon issue. The only successful solution I have read is to Reset All Settings, but I've looked at what that means. I will lose 2 years of honing my phone to suit the way I use it; the ordering of all the apps, the sounds, notification settings, everything.
I don't want to do that.
So unless there is a less globally impactful solution to this, I guess I can live with it. It's only mildly annoying, just not very Appley because it is not intuitive.

This appears to be another good reason to check out all the reasons why one
would want or need to upgrade a working OS X version, since these kinds of

Starting in the middle of an animation won't play the audio

I was creating a frame-by-frame animation in Flash Pro CC that went with an audio file I added to the project, however when I start from the middle, or anywhere besides the start, the audio won't play, but the animation will. I chatted with a customer support guy and he directed me here. Is there any way to fix this?

I am afraid that out of the box this is not possible. You will need some custom scripting to achieve this. You can create an anchor to the point from where you wish to begin and then simulate a click to that anchor via using some JavaScript on load.

Deleting bars in the middle of a project

I want to remove a certain number of bars of music in the middle of a project, say bars 12-16, and have the original bars 16+ renumbered. Is that possible? If so, how?
It's an all real instrument project (with a bit of unnecessary space) and I've tried selecting all the following bars and moving them - and that works - but the volume and pan controls don't move with them, they stay where they were.
Also, I have not been able to extract imported audio regions on their own without going through the exporting route. Any simple way of selecting a region and copying or exporting it?

That is the only way, and yes, the Curves do not move with the region, they are, unfortunately linked to the track, not the regions within the track.

1 - without specifics I have no idea how to help
2 - the question was "are you trying to use them in iPhoto? " - it sounds like you are - to do so you will have to export them from Aperature and import into iPhoto
3 - for information on how to use them in Aperature then you need to ask about how to use Aperature in the Aperature forum as it does not involve iPhoto
