Can see pen mask tool in premiere 2014

I have just updated to premiere 2014, when I add and fx to shot, then I go to fx opacity I only see the circle and rectangle shaoe masks, there is no freehand pen tool for mask. Has anyone else encounters this issue.

Can't open a file in premiere 2014

I downloaded the last upgrade but everytime i'm trying to open a specific project file it's telling me that the file has been saved on a newer version of premiere and it can't open it.

Please download and install Creative cloud desktop app from the link below that will fix the issue with Adobe Application Manager,
https://creative.adobe.com/products/creative-cloud
Once you have this installed please install the latest version of premiere pro that premiere pro 2014.1(8.1).
Now try to open the project.

But the whole point is that I am not able to place the mask properly because of the strange way it behaving. The purpose of a mask is that it should affect the area it is located above and not somewhere else, and it should also fill the entire mask and not only a spot at the center of the mask area.
It has nothing to do with the order of things, or if I turn up feathering or extract the edge. It's all about the wired way it applys it self.
If I apply and drag the mask to the corner, it should affect the corner and not somewhere near the center of my footage. As it is right now I have to zoom out to 25% and drag the mask way out of frame to affect the corner of my footage.

Can't get "Type Mask Tool" to work

I'm a newbie to the program and have been able to understand how to use all the tools so far EXCEPT the Type Mask Tool. The Product Help in the Adobe Help Center is very brief and vague. I searched all the online avenues and didn't see my problem addressed.
With my photo as the background layer, I created a new layer and did a New Fill Layer / Gradient. I then used the Type Mask Tool to create some text I wanted to cut out of the gradient layer to paste onto a new layer. I can type the outlined text on the gradient layer but that's it. I can't get it to separate the text from the rest of the layer. If I switch to the photo (background) layer, the outline text is there too and it will cut out the text from the photo/background. But I don't want it affecting the photo/ background layer.
Does the type mask tool only work on the background layer? I tried gradient, solid color, and pattern filled layers and result was the same: I could type the type mask text but it had no effect on those layers, only on the background layer. The Product Help (as vague as it is) doesn't say it only works on the background layer. I'm obviously using the tool wrong, but can't figure out how to use correctly following the limited Product Help explanation for the tool. Can someone give a more thorough explanation of what the tool can and can not do and how to use it? Thanks!

You can use the Type Mask on an adjustment/fill layer's layer mask... you just need to fill the selection or the area outside the selection with the appropriate gray-shade to give the degree of transparency/opacity you want.
For a simple example, if you have a background layer, and a gradient fill layer over it, and have selected the gradient fill's layer mask - when you use the type mask, once you have the marching-ants marquee, fill the selection with black to allow the background to show through the gradient in the shape of the text mask. Or, invert the selection and then fill with black to hide all of the gradient fill except the text shape.
While this may seem more complicated at first, a bit of practice will demonstrate that the added flexibility is well worth the time it takes to understand the concept.

Am I imagining it or did I used to be able to right-click to stop drawing with the pen tool?
How can I do this in Illustrator CC 2014 as it seems a bit frustrating to have to keep pressing P.

Text tool not working in photoshop CC, all I can see are small boxes event with giant font

I am not sure what is going on here. I cannot get the Text to show up using the Text tool. All I can see are tiny boxes even made the font 60 points. SHould be huge. Been happening for more than a week and I ran an update via the cloud just last night. Did not fix it yet. Ideas?

I find Points are not the most predictable unit to use for text, and p[refer a linear size like inches or mm. Have a look at your image size. If it has a very high pixel size, together with a low dpi (72) then that would give you what you are seeing. If your image size is 4 inches by 8 inches, then regardless of what the dpi is, if you used inches instead of points for text sizing, then you would know to expect 2 inch text to be one quarter the hieght of your document.
Does that make sense?

I have some problems importing a imagesequence in Premiere CS6. The online help tells to import, but I can see thats possible. I have an export option in Premiere, but in V/3 I can't find it. I have no problems in my CS6..

When I render Max files, I use an older computer with Adobe CS3.
While the other computer is working, I use my old, which have Mastercollection CS3.
In the help file, I am told to "import" the images, but if I follow the explanation, I can see its for new versions, because Premiere CS3 haven't the "import" option.
Do anyone know how to import an 130 image image sequence in Adobe Premiere CS3.

Your drive is formatted with the NTFS file system. OS X can read but not write to the NTFS file system. There are third party drivers available that claim to add the ability to OS X to write to an NTFS partition. I have not tried them and don't know if they work.
The only file system that OS X and Windows can both write to natively is the FAT32 file system.

Yes indeed, and Photoshop CC 2014 is the only version with that option.
In Photoshop: Edit > Preferences > Experimental Features > check "Scale UI 200%", click OK, Restart Photoshop. (Windows only).

I can see the video in Prelude, but not Premiere

I recorded an event with two cameras. One is a DSLR, the other is not. I can see all the footage in Prelude, but the non-DSLR footage will not export to Premiere. How can I fix this? Why is this happening?
I also tried importing directly into Premiere. That won't work either.

What are the details of the video that doesn't work?
