Can seem to open the book i downloaded

I have paied downloaded a book to read not an audiobook. Its in my books section in I tunes. I can open it though. I dont know what to do to acsess the contents of the book! ????
Anyone what to do, or what ive done wrong?

Books downloaded from iTunes are not optimized for the Mac OS X, but for iOS devices such as iPhones, iPads, and the iPod touch.
In other words, you cannot open an iBook and read it on your Mac.

I purchased a book through iTunes and it downloaded. I synced with my iPad. It shows the book is downloading but that has been going on for two hours and i still can't open the book.

Try the 'report a problem' link from your purchase history : log into your account on your computer's iTunes via Store > View My Account (Store > View My Apple ID on iTunes 11) and you should then see a Purchase History section with a 'see all' link to the right of it ; click on that and you should see a list of your purchases ; find that book, click the arrow to the left of it, click the 'Report a Problem' button :
and then the 'Report a Problem' link on its line :
and select 'inadvertently purchased' as the problem and fill in the details (iTunes support should reply within, I think, about 24 hours).

I cant seem to open some photos on Iphoto. I downloaded like 3 months ago from my phone into the iphoto. I could access ALL of my photos back then but when I try and access them now I cant seem to open the file. When i open iphoto and open the folder thats on it, i can see ALL the photos that are there but when I click on different ones some appear in the larger screen but A LOT of them dont appear. Iphoto seems to have erased the file or I dont know.
Also I tried clicking on the photo that doesnt appear and making it "Reveal it on finder" - "original file" and it says 'The operation can’t be completed because the item can’t be found.".
I really want those photos because they involve a really special family vacation, please help me find those photos

I don't really know what to do. I download a book from my library and it then goes to my download folder in finder (I have a macbook pro). When I double click on the downloaded book to open, digital editions comes up and then I get the following message

The only option I have at that point is to close the window. My computer is registered/authorized and I have tried everything I can think of but can't get the books to download into adobe digital editions.

I am having this exact issue. I just downloaded a book and went to open it and got this exact problem.
I purchased he book through indigo/kobo edition and paid for it and immediately went to open it and am getting the same error
Error getting License. License Server Communication Problem only mine says Bad Device key after.
Not sure why someone has not answered this question yet...i am using windows 7 and this is how i always do it. Never had this problem before when purchasing a book.
i hope someone answers this soon.

O How can I download the book I downloaded on to my Kobo when the top line is missing?

I checked that Adobe Digital Editions is installed correctly. But when I plug in my Kobo and open it I do not see the top line on the left. No word Library, no 3 books. At the top left I see a picture of the book I downloaded and under it Devices and Kobo. When I drag my book over the picture it jumps back and will not load on my Kobo. I tried dragging it over the work Kobo and the same thing happens.
How can this be corrected??

I need help on how to open my book I just purchased so that I can read it. I am new to the apple family and have just gotten the updated phone a month ago. I purchased on Itunes the book and can see the book but it will not open for me on my phone or my mac book. I found out that I cannot open the book on my mac so I just would like to know how to open the book on the iphone. It is telling me to purchase it again? I all ready spent 14 dollars on the book and would just like to read it now. Please tell me what the steps are, I would greatly appreciate it.

Have you downloaded or synced the (free) iBooks app to your iPhone ? The iBooks app is the only way that you can currently read Apple bought e-books. If you have got the iBooks app then you can either sync the book from your computer to your iPhone via the device's Books tab in iTunes (which you do in a similar way to how you sync music, apps, films etc to the phone). Or you can just download the book directly into the iBooks app on your iPhone (there is help on re-downloading here http://support.apple.com/kb/HT2519). There is also some info on the iBooks app in the iPhone manual which you can download from here http://support.apple.com/manuals/iphone/

I downloaded and re-installed Adobe Digital Editions so that I could get books from the library and read them on my tablet. It is not working and my tablet cannot open the books??

What can I do? I am 68 y/o and not very computer literate. I put an micro SD card in my computer to copy the books (also some ebooks that I bought from a retailer) onto the SD card so that I could read it on my computer or my ereader by puting the card into the reader (tablet or whatever you want to call it).. Please follow the below steps and check:
1) Right click on the book in library that you want to copy from your computer. Click on the "Show File in Explorer".
2) Copy/Paste the book from this location to your SD card.
3) On your tablet open the book from your SD card in your ereader.
You need to make sure that you authorize your ereader with the same ID with which you authorized your computer. In case you do not remember which ID you used for authorizing your Digital Edition, click Help-> Authorization Information.
Hope this helps. If it doesn't, please specify the ereader that you are using and the exact error message that you are getting. Thanks!
