On the same Java installation - depends on how you run them.
2) If no how i can configure the jboss and tomcat for running in same/different JVM but in same single physical machine? For JBoss you set JAVA_HOME.
For tomcat - I dunno - should be in the documentation somewhere. Thanks for reply
for both jboss and tomact i have set jave_home to same the path, how i do ensure that they are running in same jvm instance.

  • Can Single Trip have multiple travel expense reports?

    Hi All,
Can a single trip have more than one travel expense report linked to it?
My Client requires different travel receipts for a single trip to have different paymnet cycles.
Say for a single trip (for 20 days) the airfare paid needs to be settled in next 7 days and the hotel will be reimbursed when employee finishes the trip i.e. after 20 days in this ex.
Can each of these receipts be settled and then posted to finance separately if they are part of the same travel expense report.
OR can we have different travel expense reports for the same trip which could then be settled and posted to finance individually?
    Regards,
    Amit

    Hi,
I think you have some diferents posibilities:
    - Let your employees create differents travel expenses in the same period (Define Schema and Individual Field Control).
    - Let your employee modificate a travel expenses whith settlement status:  "settle".

  • IPhone3 - can I sync onto multiple PCs running iTunes ? or is this a one-one relationship ?

Can I sync onto multiple PCs running iTunes ? or is this a one-one relationship ?
My situation - use home computer for music etc., boat computer for weather file downloads, officecomputer for email / pictures ...
    Thank you

There is an App called Weathertrack, which pulls from the web GRIB files (weather information), that I would like to download onto the laptop we have on the boat, that runs some routing software (SeaTrack), that in turn integrates weather, tide, GPS etc to help with vessel navigation.
I can obviously do this from my home computer (this is the one that has the 1-1 sync relationship), but I don't want to empty the IPhone content whilst on the boat ...
If you can think of a way of making this happen, I would be very appreciative. Both PCs are windows based, home is Vista, boat is XP.
    Kind regards

  • Can one pc have multiple ipods

I have a problem when trying to download/purchase new music, I receive three security questions to set for security purposes. After listing the questions and answers I click the continue or enter and I receive an error message that my answers could not be saved. This began after entering code from an itunes card recently purchased, I was able to purchase 1 song and then this issue came up.

Your title seems to have nothing to do with your post.
Is your question "can one pc have multiple ipods"?  If so, then yes.  You can sync as many ipods as you like to one comptuer.
Or is your question something to do with the body of your post?

Periodically double click the home button and close all the apps in the recently used dock. Then power off and then back on the iPod. This frees up memory. The 4G only has 256 MB of memory.
    Try:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

  • Can a subform have multiple pages defined?

Can a subform have multiple pages defined to it?
I have a form and it is calling several subforms. These subforms have multiple pages defined.
The end result is I'm getting these additional pages overlaying the first page.
I've verifed my Same Page option, origins, etc.
I've used subforms before with no problems, however, I have never had a subform with more than one page.

Its possible, be sure that you have a proper set origin on the sub form call - that can sometimes throw other things off. You also need to be careful of set origins in the subforms since those are relative to the subform call - you should not be using anything with ABS positioning in the subform.
Do everything as REL/MAX first then adjust your subform calls followed by the content within the subforms. Use the store origin if you need to get positioning in the main form to the subform calls instead of ABS if possible.

  • RE: How to have multiple application running under one server

              I have one server
              I have many application
Question: Is it possible for me to have a weblogic properties file under each
              of this application.

If your question is whether you can run multiple instances of WebLogic
(or multiple applications) on one server, the answer is yes. The only
problem is, you must have a unique port for each of the servers to run
on. I.e., they can not all run under port 80 which has obvious
              internet/network implications.
This also means you have multiple weblogic.properties files etc. for
              each instance.
We do this with WL5.1 on a Linux 2.4 kernel in developement to allow
multiple developers run their own instance on one box.

  • Can a family have multiple iClouds, with 1 iTunes acct?

We are a family of 4 apple users. I want us to share the same iTunes acct with one way to purchase items, but I want us each to have our own iCloud login for backing up our devices. How can this be done?
Also, would we be able to access or see each others i

Yes, in fact it's recommended that you have separate iCloud accounts.  You can have separate iCloud accounts and still share the same iTunes ID; it does not need to be the same as the ID used for iCloud.
To create separate iCloud accounts, each person should go to Settings>iCloud on their iOS device and sign in with a separate ID to create their account.  If they have multiple devices, then can create the account on one device, then go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with the same ID on their other devices.

  • Can you now have multiple Itunes accounts sharing content on one computer?

Hi - I was trying to find this information on line but cannot.
The last "big" Itunes update (11.2?) prevented multiple Itunes accounts from sharing content on one computer.  Well, you can, but with consequences. For example, my husband purchased a movie rental with his Itunes account on our computer when he logged on to Itunes, but then I could not download any Itunes content for 30 days when I logged on to my account. I no longer purchase any content from Apple because of this. I was hoping this feature has been discontinued – it prevents households from purchasing Itunes.  We never pirate or steal any content at all. In fact, this feature forces us out of the Itunes universe to purchase movie rentals and music elsewhere.
Not just trying to complain, really. Legitimately want to find out if this rights policy still exists before we both try to rent or purchase anything from Itunes.
    Thanks.

"Won't it present problems if the daughter needs to reauthorize the computer for her own use before 90 days,"
No. The 90 day limit ONLY applies to redownloading purchases from iTunes..
So if she were to redownload purchases from the father's account then she'd have to wait 90 days to redownload form her own account. and the computer can be authorized for multiple iTunes account (pretty sure it's 5) . You don't need to later reauthorize for first account if you authorize for a different account.
More discussion on 90 day wait period - https://discussions.apple.com/thread/6094005 - disable automatic downloads so message doesn't appear when using multiple accounts.

  • Jtable: can a row have multiple lines

    Hello all,
Can a Jtable row have multiple lines? For instance, if the string is too long, can i set a property so that the line breaks and makes the row larger (vertically), rather than carrying off the table (horizontally)? If so, can you please point me in the direction of what property to edit.
    Thanks in advance!

You should be able to write a renderer using a JTextArea and set it on that column. that should atleast give you a start to wrap the text. But you need to add it to the scroll pane etc etc.
but i think you need to do more to increase the size of the row vertically.
Hope this gives you a start

  • Can a single AdobeID have multiple seats?

We have 3 users who are running Adobe applications on two computers at the same time.  Will we need to create extra AdobeID's for these users so that they can install Creative Cloud on their 2nd workstations?

First of all I should state I'm just a user and relatively new to CC, not an Adobe spokesperson, so take anything I say for what it's worth.  But as I understand it, creating Adobe IDs for the workstations separate from the individual users IDs would be a viable work-around.  Since an ID can be used for 2 installs, you wouldn`t need 7 but only 4, 2-2-2-1 with one extra install available in reserve.  I do software training and we do similar in the classroom - IDs for each workstation using generic names such as Student1, Student2, ...etc.  When someone is using one of the print/lab workstations or  an instructor is using their in-class instructor workstation they would use the generic logins, not their personal accounts.  As an instructor myself I try to never use any of my personal accounts in class anyway - last thing I want my students to see is my personal email mailbox for example .  Suggest instructors do not use Adobe Cloud storage for their files - seems to be having a lot of birthing pains anyway - but rather something like Dropbox if they really want to use the Cloud (my personal preference is for a portable USB drive - a terrabyte is no bigger than a deck of playing cards and it's more secure and faster than this Cloud nonsense).  That way if they're using Cloud based file storage it's tied to a personal ID rather than the Adobe software ID and independent of their personal Adobe ID.
Your post does raise an interesting question in my mind though - can a user logged in on one Adobe ID access files stored in a Cloud account under a different Adobe ID if he knows the user name and password to that account?  If I want to have 4 computers logged in to CC at the same time it's my understanding I need 2 accounts/Adobe IDs.  Let's say one of the accounts is [email protected] with password XXXX and the other is [email protected] with password YYYY.  Each ID has its two allowed installs active and logged in. Is there a way I can save a file to my Creative Cloud storage from a machine logged in under the "myname" account and access it later from a machine that's logged in under the "myalias" account without signing out of "myalias" and logging in as "myname" (and in the process deactivating the software on the two "myname" machines)?  In other words can multiple Adobe IDs share a single Cloud file storage repository?

  • About to purchase a MacPro trying to figure out if i need the Westmere Dual Processors or say the single processor 3.32 ghz w/3gb RAM? This is for the electronic prepress department of a printing company. Mainly we need to have multiple apps. running

Will be using applications all at once like Quark ,CS5... Indesign, photshop, AI...etc.
Will be exporting and writing PDF's and Postsript files constantly along with a few networked servers.
Just a lot of application work!
Right now the department has 5 Macs 4 of them are the older PowerPC's and one is a 2008 or 2009  MacPro 2.8ghz QuadCore (singleprocesser) which is by far the fastest machine. Now we need another one or maybe two more but would like to be even faster than the MacPro we have but not go over the 3,000 mark for price.

buy 2,8 4-core and upgrade to W3680 yourself. sell the 2.8 or keep it as backup. Very affordable 6-core, or just spring for the fastest single cpu BTO.
Invest in 8GB DIMMs (4 x 8GB) and SSD - 3rd party RAM, 3GB is enough to boot, period.
Wait for SATA3, more bandwidth, Sandy Bridge E Xeons.

  • How can I determine what machines have Offline Sync running and are using it

    Hi everyone,
I am working on a project where a Windows feature was rolled out but we do not know to whom exactly?
I need to run a script that will tell me for all the machines/PCs in our estates which ones are actually using the Offline Files/Sync Center in Windows 7.
Is there a way to do this via Reporting? I'm actually using SCCM 2012 SP1 but there was no option for this in the drop-down.
If anyone has any samples or scripts - that I could utilise then I would appreciate this.
    Thanks

Yes, I know this is an old post, but I’m trying to clean them up. Did you solve this problem, if so what was the solution?
A Quick Bing search revealed several scripts that will allow you to determine offline data. I would start with one of those then, write the results to WMI. Once that is done CM12 can inventory the results and you can then create a report in this data.

  • Can one instance have multiple redo threads ?

i was reading the Oracle Data guard 10g guide and it says
Determine the appropriate number of standby redo log file groups.
Minimally, the configuration should have one more standby redo log file group than the number of online redo log file groups on the primary database. However, the recommended number of standby redo log file groups is dependent on the number of threads on the primary database. Use the following equation to determine an appropriate number of standby redo log file groups:
(maximum number of logfiles for each thread + 1) * maximum number of threads
Using this equation reduces the likelihood that the primary instance's log writer (LGWR) process will be blocked because a standby redo log file cannot be allocated on the standby database. For example, if the primary database has 2 log files for each thread and 2 threads, then 6 standby redo log file groups are needed on the standby database
while Oracle's definition of redo log states the following
    Redo Threads
When speaking in the context of multiple database instances, the redo log for each database instance is also referred to as a redo thread. In typical configurations, only one database instance accesses an Oracle Database, so only one thread is present. In an Oracle Real Application Clusters environment, however, two or more instances concurrently access a single database and each instance has its own thread of redo.
this is confusing, in a typical environment where only one instance accesses a database, can we have more than one redo thread ?

Though you can create multiple threads but of no use in NON-RAC or non-parallel server configuration.
Following is the generic formula. You should consider
maximum number of threads = 1 for single instance (NON-RAC).
(maximum number of logfiles for each thread + 1) * maximum number of threads
