    Re installing ML will just install it overtop of your normal settings, it is not a clean install. having said that you should prepare by backing up your system.
    The recovery partition is created when you install ML from MAS. (did you do that or do a clean install?)
    there are two ways to get to the recovery partition and both ways are harmless if you don't have it.
    one, directly to it by holding CMD+R while you hear the boot chime.
    two, holding option down during the boot chime and selecting the recovery partition in the list of bootable drives.
    once there, I would run disk utiltiy, verify and repair disks and permissions, and then I would run the reinstall Mountain Lion installer.

    You have a hardware problem. It is probably the hard drive is either to full, not enough free space, or it is starting to fail.
    If you have an external drive connec that to the system and use the Recovery HD, Command + r keys at startup, to install a clean fresh copy of OS X Lion on the external then run the system from that. It will be slower but if you don't get the beachball then that is the sign your internal drive is on its way out or is filled up with files and not enough free space.

    CC is for retail use with 20 GB of storage space, CCT is where number of seats are purchased & assigned by one program admin where each seat gets 100GB of storage space.
    You can not have both the CC & team in one account as it will only provide you added storage space of 120 GB but you can activate the CC any of them or either of them twice as CC is based on Adobe ID.

    Have downloaded for example: Queen – Bohemium Rhapsody from a compilation album as well as a few complete Queen Album CDs into the iTunes library and then put them into playlists,
    When I go onto my phone and select Queen on the MUSIC app using Songs tab at the bottom of the screen it will display all Queen songs and their resective Alum pics, that is all those not in a complilation album, .
    If I know the song title I can select the songs tab and find the song that way,
    I’ve tried fiddling with the settings in the iTunes app by going to ‘get info’ tab and trying to sort the problem out that way but am not having much luck.What I want the phone to do is show, for example all Queens songs including those in compilation albums. Can this be done, would be grateful for any ideas on how it can be done, that is if ic can be done, any ideas

    Try assigning Queen as the Album Artist on the compilations in iTunes on your computer.

    Mine does the same thing occasionally, is your phone jailbroken? Sometimes it will work if you delete the book and reinstall it or put your phone into airplane mode then turn it back off.

    Option 1
    Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
    If that fails:
    Option 2
    Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
    Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

    I noticed that the iphone is set to dim it's display about 10 seconds or so before locking. I know you can change the time elapsed before actually locking, but is there a way to have the phone dimmed for a longer duration before actually locking and
