Can somebody tell me where can I find the "Personal Hotspot" in the new version of iOS 8?

Hi dears,
it has been noticed that the personal hotspot feature has been missed from the iOS 8. It was availbe in the cellular data in the setting in the previous ios but after I updated to the latest version i could not find it for my iPad Air. However, for my iPhone 4s it is still there after update.

I assume you're trying to download from the App Store, right? This is the only way it can be installed on your iPad. What is the exact error message you're getting?
Try rebooting your iPad and attempting to download Pandora again:
To reboot your iPad, hold down the sleep/wake button and the home button simultaneously until the screen goes black and the Apple logo appears. If, during this process, a slider appears on the screen to power it off, ignore it and keep holding the buttons down.

Hi Samson,
U can create a new material type using the tcode OMS2 and then copy the material type which u need to modify and then define the name of the new material type and make the required changes which u want for that material type and save it.

Unlimited Internet is different than the carrier supporting the hotspot feature. I don't have an iPhone or an iPad with cellular. My limited knowledge about the hotspot is from reading support articles about it and from what I have read here in the forum.
I don't know that circumstances with the carriers have changed, but initially, the was an extra cost to enable the hotspot feature on the iDevice. I believe that Verizon was charging an additional $20 per month for the feature. Check out the support article that I posted above.

Note: If you do not see the option for Personal Hotspot, confirm with your carrier that this feature is supported and your wireless plan is configured for Personal Hotspot. For additional troubleshooting, see this article.

You can run GarageBand 6.0.5 on your Mac - the version is described here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1507
But you cannot download a full version any longer from the AppSTore, the current App Store version is 10.0.2, and that is incompatible with your system. To get a compatible version, buy an iLife '11 installer from Amazon, or check, if your Mac came with bundled applications on an instller disk.

Settings > Cellular. Won't be available there unless your carrier supports the option and you have the option included with your data plan.

I'm new to using addons, so please forgive my ignorance. I've installed LeechBlock and now I can't see where to find it. Can anyone tell me where/ how to access it? I've looked under Addons in the Tools menu, but this just has options to install more addons.
I had thought there'd be a button on the toolbar, or even a new toolbar, but I can't see anything...

Hi, you're nearly there! When you are looking at the Add-ons you need to select Extensions on the left-hand side, and you should see it, together with your AdBlock plus. There might also be a button in the 3-bar menu - but I'm not familiar with that particular Add-on so can't be sure about that.

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are drooping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Note - When troubleshooting wifi connection problems, don't hold your iPad by hand. There have been a few reports that holding the iPad by hand, seems to attenuate the wifi signal.
Some Wi-Fi losses may stem from a problematic interaction between Wi-Fi and cellular data connections. Numerous users have found that turning off Cellular Data in Settings gets their Wi-Fi working again.
You may have many apps open which can possibly cause the slowdown and possibly the loss of wifi. In iOS 4-6 double tap your Home button & at the bottom of the screen you will see the icons of all open apps. Close those you are not using by pressing on an icon until all icons wiggle - then tap the minus sign. For iOS 7 users, there’s an easy way to see which apps are open in order to close them. By double-tapping the home button on your iPhone or iPad, the new multitasking feature in iOS 7 shows full page previews of all your open apps. Simply scroll horizontally to see all your apps, and close the apps with a simple flick towards the top of the screen.
