Can someone confirm this is a bug in CS3?

This may well be simply a problem on my local computer,
but...
I have placed the Actions window on my second monitor (dual
monitor system, Win XP), to that (docked in the same window) I have
added the Output, Compile Errors and Help windows so that they can
all be moved and viewed as one. However, in this configuration I
cannot exit Flash.
I have tried every combination of these windows in pairs and
triplets, but when I add the fourth window to the set, I cannot
close Flash.
If someone can confirm this, I'll submit a bug report.

Rex, instead of filing a bug could you open a support
webcase? (or do both?) Be certain to provide your video card and
driver info.. Reply back with the case number and I'll make sure it
gets to the right people.

    Can someone try running ISOBuster 1.1?  (http://www.isobuster.com)  Without a BSOD of NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS?
    How about Windows Component Update?  Without a BSOD of the same error?
    It seems this stupid BSOD plagues me and keeps me from installing Visual Studio.
    I've tried the Registry Tweak and it still happens.
    I've tried different BIOS's with clean installs.
    I've tried different drivers with those different BIOS's with clean installs.
    I'm stumped and sad...

    Have you recently installed a new virus scanner?
    Winntmag has this to say : http://www.winntmag.com/Articles/Index.cfm?ArticleID=3396
    NO_MORE_IRP_STACK_LOCATIONS 0x35
    With this code, if you've added a new virus scanner or someone has accessed a shared volume over the network for the first time on the machine, the Server device driver can be at fault. The Server device driver constructs I/O request packets with a slot for every device driver on the path to the disk. Sometimes the number of I/O request packets the Server device driver allocates is insufficient, resulting in this Stop Code. Try increasing the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\ServicesLanmanServer\IrpStackSize setting to a number higher than 4 (or whatever it's set to) and see whether the problem goes away

  • Can someone confirm this please?

    I was told all over these forums that I'd be given a replacement refurbished iPhone 4S because my one right now has terrible battery life. So I called Apple and they assured me that they only replaced them with new ones in Ireland. Could somebody confirm this?

    tonefox wrote:
    The main difference between a new phone and a refurbished phone is that the refurbished phone has been checked more carefully to ensure it is in perfect condition.
    I know all the differences, I was just confirming that replacements in Ireland are new iPhones. And my iPhone is the rarest one - 64GB Black iPhone 4S so that could mean they don't have many refurbs.

  • Can anyone confirm this Slow Motion Bug

    Hi All,
    in a PAL project if I apply slow motion to a clip then that clip becomes distorted - looks like every other line from the clip has gone.
    I am using an iMac core duo, and have all latest OS and iLife patches applied.
    I cannot find a work around to this.

    Sounds about right. Discussion and fixes can be found here...

  • Hi, can someone confirm this is the correct memory?

    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=008&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT &viewitem=&item=180071178504&rd=1&rd=1
    I just purchased this on ebay, its a 2 gig ram for the macbook 1.83ghz. I just wanna make sure this is the correct compatible memory. Thanks a bunch. (ebay #180071178504)

    From the description on eBay, it looks like the right RAM. PC5300 is what the MacBook takes, and the description on the ad even mentions the MacBook. So it should be fine if the description is accurate.
    And yes, it will make the machine work faster -- it will probably have significantly more effect than a faster processor would. If the processor has to retrieve data from the hard disk, the system comes to a screeching halt while it loads. As it works and the memory fills up, it has to offload some of what it's doing to the hard disk, then load new stuff up to work with, and so on. It will seriously slow down your system having inadequate RAM, and that's what 512MB is in a MacBook, if that's what yours has.
    If you have plenty of RAM, then the system can put pretty much everything it needs there, which means it won't be waiting around for the hard disk nearly as much. Moving from 512MB to 2GB will give a dramatic speed increase on your MacBook.
    Good luck!

  • Can someone confirm this with me?

    My board is 661FM2-LSR stated it supports DDR266/333/400.
    But why on kingston site didn't stated it can support CL2.5 and hyperx on PC3200 400Mhz? Below are the modules found for my board.
    128MB 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL2.5
    256MB 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL2.5
    512MB 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL2.5
    1GB 333MHz DDR PC2700 DIMM CL2.5
    128MB 400MHz DDR PC3200 DIMM 3-3-3
    256MB 400MHz DDR PC3200 DIMM 3-3-3
    512MB 400MHz DDR PC3200 DIMM 3-3-3
    1GB 400MHz DDR PC3200 DIMM 3-3-3
    This is the link
    http://www.ec.kingston.com/ecom/configurator/modelsinfo.asp?SysID=20816&distributor=0&submit1=Search
    I thought as long my board supports DDR400, it should be able to run on CL2.5, Cas2 and hyperx 400Mhz DDR?
    Please advise thanks

    CL2.5 is not CAS 2 RAMs which you know, therefore I can only say that the CL2 RAMs are meant for boards that handles o/c'ing well but not all mobos.
    I for one has tried to go for CL2 RAMs but gave up the idea as I know that CL2.5 is stable and more than enough. Just don't go for CL3 RAMs.
    Btw, if you want o/c'ing, higher speed RAMs will be much better and preferred to gain more MHz.

  • Can Someone Confirm this Nano Action for me?

    I need to have an AIFF recording UNCOMPRESSED on my Nano.
    If I bring into iTunes as AIFF, will the Nano compress it when I download to the Nano?
    If so, can I use the Nano as a hard-drive and copy the AIFF file to it that way?
    Any help greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    Yes, it will download uncompressed. It will take a lot more space but it will still sync to the nano as uncompressed. Syncing to your iPod will not compress your files unless you change the format yourself. The same format you imported the file to iTunes will be the same format sent to your nano.

  • Can anybody confirm this rather serious bug?

    Steps:
    - Use Arch 2008.06 Install Disc
    --- (I used 32-bit)
    - Install Arch, but use HTTP/FTP for source
    - No matter what you format / as (I tried ReiserFS and XFS), upon reboot you'll get a fsck error and it goes into maint. mode
    Updates:
    - I tried to use CDROM as source, same result.

  • Can someone confirm a possible bug with Universal Access?

    Can someone confirm a possible bug with Universal Access?
    I have a Mac Pro 3,1, 10.7.1 but if you could confirm or not this possible bug with any model.
    In Energy Saver preference pane:
    Set Mac to never sleep.
    Set Display Sleep to ~2 minutes.
    In Desktop & Screen Saver:
    Set screen saver to start at ~1 minutes.
    In Universal Access:
    Check Enable access for assistive devices.
    Check radio button Zoom to On.
    Zoom in window not checked.
    Confirm that Zoom works by pressing:
    ⌥⌘= (option, command, =).
    Set screen back to normal by pressing ⌥⌘-.
    Let screen sleep after screen saver starts.
    Wake screen and see if ⌥⌘= still works.
    Thanks … Ken

    Other than the time intervals (smallest Screen Saver kick-in is 3 minutes), it works fine for me - at least I can still zoom in/out after waking the display.
    Tested on two different MacBook Pro models in 10.7.1

    You might also need to turn Preview generation off for any existing Projects. Select the Project in the Projects pane and use the cog button at the top of the pane to uncheck 'Maintain Previews For Project'.

  • Multithreading - Can someone explain this ...

    Hi Java Gurus:
    Can someone explain this to me why my multithreading worked in once case and not in the other.
    First a little background:
    My application lets the user create multiple JInternalFrames. Each frame has an OK button. When the user presses the OK button, the frame goes about it's business in a new thread, thus returning control to the use, so he/she can press the OK button on the second frame .. and so on.
    Following is the event handler for the OK button that creates the new thread:
    case1 - doesn't work:
          btnTranslate.addActionListener(
             new ActionListener() {
                public void actionPerformed( ActionEvent e ) {
                             txtOutput.setText("");
                             txtBadParts.setText("");
                   Translation trans = new Translation(inst);
                   trans.run();
          );case2 - works:
          btnTranslate.addActionListener(
             new ActionListener() {
                public void actionPerformed( ActionEvent e ) {
                             txtOutput.setText("");
                             txtBadParts.setText("");
                       new Translation(inst).start();
          );Thanks,
    Kamran

    Calling the run method makes the run method run in the current thread. You need to call the start method to get the thread to start its own thread.

  • Can someone execute this program?

    Can someone execute this program for me and tell me if it works correctly? My DOS is acting funny.
    look for these things:
    - accepts input from keyboard and places them into an array
    - continues to accept names until a blank name is entered
    - array can contain up to 15 names
    - after all names are entered, it displays the contents of the array
    and writes them to a file
    - output should be in 2 columns
    if you see a problem, please tell me how to fix it.

    Ok, here is what I came up with. I commented most of what I changed and gave a reason for changing it. My changes aren't perfect and it still needs to be tweeked. When you run the program you have to hit the enter key every time once before you type a name. When you are done typing names hit the enter key twice and it will output the names entered into the array. Like I said, it isn't perfect, and that part you will need to fix.
