Can someone e-mail me iTunes 7.4??

I just purchased a new iPod and need iTunes 7.4 for it to work. I cannot connect my mac to the internet to update. The only computer I can connect to the internet is connected thought a network which blocks/prevents all downloads. Therfore I cannot download it myself. I am wishfull that someone can e-mail the program to me, then I can put it on my external flash drive then move it to my mac. Someone has got to know how to do this. PLEASE

E-mail is not a practical solution for a 38+MB download, even with outfits that act as a go-between with your ISP.

This starts the download immediately .... do not have any other apps open during the
download/install process .... *Repair Permissions* before and after ..... then Restart the computer.
Do NOT have any "hackies" or beta apps installed .... delete ShapeShifter if it's installed
Keep iTunes in the Apple default Applications folder after installation.

Can someone help with moving iTunes & iPhoto from a external harddrive to my new computer?

I got my new computer 3 days ago. I'm loving it so far. My question is...I have an external harddrive that I was using as my backup for my old computer. It was running OS X 10.4 My new computer is 10.8.2. I have no idea how to get the info for iTunes or iPhoto off of my external drive. I've never had to do that before so I'm a little lost.

Migrating from an older Mac OS to a newer one is usually smooth (not vice-versa, there may be problems). Depending on the app used for backup, you may use it in the reverse order (you used to to backup, it must have a restore function).
Alternatively, you may simply copy the iTunes and iPhoto folders into ~/Users/logged in user/Library/Music and ..../Pictures, respectively.
You may also continue to use the folders on the external drive by pressing Option/Alt key upon starting iPhoto and iTunes. You can do that any time you wish to keep these folders in another location than the default one. See screenshots below.

Can someone help with my itunes song skipping problem?

I just got a new laptop and transfered all the songs successfully, downloaded the newest itunes and bought more songs from the itunes store and two days later, my songs started skipping. They aren't skipping as bad as i've read on the messages boards of other people, maybe one small skip in various songs.
But...
Once I plug in my ipod to the usb port, will the skipping songs transfer onto my ipod and start making them skip as well? I checked my ipod and all the songs are ok, but I haven't attached my ipod since the songs started skipping.
Oh yeah...I've set Quicktime to safemode, I've read on these boards about switching to safemode...but nothing changed.
What do you guys think?

Unless the problem is with the songs themselves, moving the songs to your iPod will not make them skip there. Before you sync the files in question you should play them with another medium (ie. "Windows Media Player"). This will help you pinpoint where the problem is.

This (the -9812 error) was a widespread problem a while back and most people found that re-registering their .dll security certificates did the trick. Apple posted a help page (http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=301520) but the Microsoft link no longer works. As such, here are some instructions and a web page reference. Hopefully this will work for you:
To register the DLL files, follow these steps:
1. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 softpub.dll in the Open box, and then click OK. When you receive the message that the DllRegisterServer succeeded, click OK.
2. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 initpki.dll in the Open box, and then click OK. When you receive the message that the DllRegisterServer succeeded, click OK.
3. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 mssip32.dll in the Open box, and then click OK. When you receive the message that the DllRegisterServer succeeded, click OK.
4. Click Start, click Run, type regsvr32 wintrust.dll, click OK, and then click OK when you receive the message that the DllRegisterServer succeeded.

Accounts cannot be deleted. Remove personal information and stop using the account.
In any case, we couldn't do it. Apple doesn't monitor these forums for this kind of thing. Responses just come from other Apple product users like you.

I received an ipod nano for Christmas. After installing the cd into my computer to download the software, nothing seemed to happen. There is no icon on my desk top. Apple IDs cannot be merged. You should use your preferred Apple ID from now on, but you can still access your purchased items such as music, movies, or software using your other Apple IDs.

You need iTunes 10.7 (the current version at the moment) in order to upgrade your iPod Touch to iO6.
You can always do an Over-the-Air (OTA) update as well via Settings -> General -> Software Update if you are already running iOS 5 or later.

Depending on when you originally set up your Apple ID, you may have @mac.com, @me.com, and @icloud.com email addresses associated with your account, but all mail sent to those addresses should still come in to the same iCloud account (you can test this to make sure by sending yourself emails at those addresses).
