After the auto-update download of the complib completes, a complib is added to your samples directory. The nb4.1/samples/complib directory is a subdirectory within the directory where you installed Java Studio Creator. To add the components to the palette, we import the complib file into the Java Studio Creator IDE using these steps:
1. If needed, display the Palette by selecting it from within the View menu from the menu bar. Or, if Code Clips are showing, click the Components tab at the bottom of the Palette window.
2. Position the mouse over any Palette section name, such as Basic, and right click for a context menu. From the context menu, choose Manage Component Libraries.
3. The Component Library Manager dialog pops up. Click the Import button, which you'll see in the dialog's lower left corner.
4. The Import Component Library dialog opens. Click the Browse button and navigate to the nb4.1/samples/complib folder within your IDE installation directory. Select the file ui.complib, then click ok through the remaining dialogs. The image below shows an example of the dialog screen that displays after you have selected the complib file.

They are strangely in another entirely separate, 720p copy of the movie in the iTunes Extras. This makes the Extras file huge - it adds over 3GB - and those can only be watched on a computer for now. My best guess as to why the commentary isn't in the main movie file just like the new additional language tracks, is that they don't want to allow renters to hear the commentary track and they want to use the same main file for download or rental streaming (only with different DRM).
It's nice iTunes digital versions are adopting more of the extras of disc purchases, but it's not the best to only see them on a computer.

They are the same feature wise. The only difference is how the connect to the internet.
If you have WiFi only you can only get internet access while connected to a WiFi hot spot or access point.
WiFi + Cellular has internet access when no WiFi is available like your cell phone

I've upgraded my iPhone 4 to the next OS and it comes with the Find My iPhone feature. It took me a while to set it up, but it's OK, especially when it's free for those lucky iPhone 4 users. But now the question I have, what is the benefit of this feature? (Well besides spying on your girlfriend or wife) I mean, if someone steals my iPhone all they need to do is to delete the mobile me account, or better, turn this feature off. It's not even password protected. Maybe I'm just not getting something???

Obviously once my phone is lost I'm going to change my password on my emails right away and call AT&T to freeze my account.
You are assuming that you will know your phone is lost or stolen the instant it happens. Don't be so naive. Unless your iPhone is glued to your forehead it could be hours or maybe the next morning before you realize it's gone.
This is not where you should store that stuff.
Who are you to say what people should or shouldn't store on their smartphone? Above you admit you're not even aware of Apps that can store data (credit cards for instance) as securely as the banks and websites you use them at.
Apple's approach to encryption is mostly based on "security by obscurity", or, "our operating systems don't get hacked often... and thus we're safe." But this is VERY wrong!
Actually, you're wrong and clearly know very little about security PERIOD. Anyone who doesn't use even the basic security built-in to any device simply because it is an "inconvenience" almost deserves to have their identity stolen.

Can someone explain what all the Virtualbox modules do?

I see these modules:
vboxdrv, vboxguest, vboxnetadp, vboxnetflt, vboxpci, vboxsf, and vboxvideo
I know vboxdrv is required, obviously, but I'm having trouble finding documentation about the other modules.
vboxnetflt and vboxnetadp are obviously network related. Do I need both?
vboxvideo seems like it is needed for video acceleration, etc.
Other than that, that's pretty much all I know. Can anyone provide any more info? If so, lets see if we can update the Virtualbox Arch Wiki page with some nice descriptive details of each module.

vboxnetadp is required for NAT type of network which is the default.
vboxnetflt is required if you want to create a Bridged network on your guest OS
The above information is already in the wiki page you linked to.
Also you don't require all the modules. vboxguest obviously is only if you have ArchLinux as a guest OS. vboxsf, i believe is for shared folders between host and guest, but they are autoloaded (I believe). At least I don't load them explicitly for my usage and sharing folders works for me.

It is only a client for connecting to databases. It is easier to install than the full client.

Can someone explain what exactly the 802.11.n enabler does?

I have the 802.11.n installed on my MacBook Pro laptop, (i checked through the steps provided by this site). Does this mean it is already activated or do i need to do something to actually activate it?
I am a computer 'newbie', so to speak, and don't know a whole lot about the ins & outs of what makes them work, etc., but want to learn as much as i can.

The 802.11n Enabler was for earlier MacBooks and maybe a couple other models.
Originally, those models came enabled only for b/g. By purchasing the 802.11n enabler the Airport Card was updated to "n" speeds.
I know, I had one of the first Core2 Duo models that came out with that configuration and had to buy the 802.11n enabler.
This was the late 2006 MacBook model.
A few months after that, all machines came with 802.11n and the updater was no longer needed.

However you also list a Framerate at your end ???
The bit rate is the clue to the poor vidoe your Buddy is seeing.
I should imaging that if you go to System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming tab you will find the setting is at 56 k which is the speed of a Dail-up modem.
It should match your downlaod speed.

Can someone explain/comment upon the "verification" function of Time Machine

Last night Time Machine presented me with a dialogue box--really a monologue box--informing me that I needed to "verify" my TM backup. Having spent a good bit of the afternoon on a crowded freeway coming back from Los Angeles, I was tired and foolishly said 'OK' rather than postponing the process until my head was clearer. After the 'OK' it proceeded to create a totally new backup of the HD on my iMac, a process requiring about 5 hours. Furthermore, all the previous backup files have vanished into the electronic ether. So, have I been screwed over by some trojan horse, or this an actual (but undocumented) function of TM and Time Capsule? There does seem to be a legtimate backup file, dated yesterday, but nothing from the preceeding three months.

The error is due to the corruption of the existing backup.. a new backup was therefore required.. you have now gone too far to go back.. but even if you had tried the chances are the old backup was too corrupted to produce much that was useful or could be restored.
Check Pondini for the fault which is common.. especially if people do backups over wireless.

Can someone explain very clearly the order of things using Swingworker? Please do not refer the SUN tutorials. I am totally dead in the water with a very large application and the order of things is not sensible. Also, if the worker thread is too long, the GUI gets updated, but my progress bar (killed right after in the finished method) remains running in some instances only.
Can someone explain any debugging methods for thread work?
I am a veteran programmer of 19 years and this one's got me. The event dispatch thread returns immediate, the GUI responds well, but the progress bar setVisible(false); ... just after in the finished() method (on Event Dispatch thread) does not go away, continues running, only on very long (large query) work. I'm truly stumped. I have successful applications of the Swingworker use, the progress bar, and everything works fine. Not this one.
Debugging threads is what I need. Or some tool that visually shows threads as the program runs.

Thanks. I guess I should count my blessings when using free stuff. But I have been impressed with what the J2SDK has to offer. I have been writing a complicated application that I am going to market and most of my problems have been "design" in nature.

When you enable photo stream on your Mac, in imports photos currently in your photo stream. However, photo stream only keeps photos for 30 days, even though up to 1000 photos will remain on your device until you delete them. When you enable photo stream on your Mac, you will only receive photos added in the last 30 days, as the others are no longer in your photo stream.
If you want to get all your old photos on your Mac, save them to your camera roll (if they aren't already there) by opening your photo stream album, tapping Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. Once they are in your camera roll, import them to your Mac as explained here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4083.
Another option would be to create a shared photo stream containing the older photos and invite yourself (as explained here: http://help.apple.com/icloud/#mmc0cd7e99). Then check Shared Photo Streams in iPhoto>Preferences>Photo Stream and you will see this shared photo stream on your Mac.

Can someone explain to me how I can view my data usage for a past date today and when I look at the same date a few days from now there will be additional data. Customer support were adamant that the data usage details come directly from my device so I commented that my device must be saving usage and sending it to Verizon arbitrarily to which I was met with silence on the line.
Here's an example - on 4/1 I checked my data usage details for the date of 3/21 and it looked like this:

The red rows have been added between 4/1 & 4/7, but where did they come from? This is just one example, it's happening all over my bill and Verizon cannot justify the anomaly and certainly won't consider removing the $40 in overage charges I have this month. Which brings up another question, why doesn't Verizon offer more than 10GB for the mifi? If I want to use more data and am willing to pay for it, I have to go to another provider?

I have just reported a 2x discrepancy between individual device data usage (.89 GB total) and the reported 1.5 GB for my account. They claim it will take 72 hours to get back to me after they research the problem.
What avenues did you pursue to make contact?

Please can someone explain how to delete and email address that when typed in brings up one name but when you hit return to confirm it jumps to another name. I can't find them in my contacts list but they do come up when you type the first few letters of a name.
EG If I type xyz and the name of the person comes up, when I press return to confirm that's the one I want then it jumps to [email protected], always the same def address.
I can't fathom it out.

Try this:
Start a new email. In the To address bar, type in xyz like you normally do, press return to confim, and when the address you want to remove shows up in the address bar, move your cursor over the address you want to delete.
A small triangle next to the name will show up. click on it, a drop down menu will open, click Remove from Previous Recipients List. Then do the drop down menu again and Remove Address.

I have a lot of various book mark folders with websites contained within each folder. I am able to sort the websites within each folder alphabetically by name but I cannot find a way to sort the bookmark folders themselves alphabetically by name.I am not talking about in a view mode but in the way they are displayed when I click on my bookmarks tab. Can someone explain to me how to accomplish this other than manually dragging them as this is extremely hard for me due to the fact that I am a quadriplegic with limited hand movement dexterity

Bookmark folders that you created are in the Bookmarks Menu folder. "Sort" that folder.
