Can someone help me solve my problem report?
My razer mouse has been having a lot of issues lately so im not sure if that is the problem. Could someone who understands these please fill me on what might be causing my computer to restart. Thanks.

Numbers files are not compatible with MS Excel. To share a Numbers file with Excel you need to export you Numbers file in MS Excel format. To do this:
1) Open you Numbers document
2) select the menu item "File > Export..."
3) select "Excel" for the target output
4) click next and select where to save the file.

System Preferences>Network, click on the little gear at the bottom next to the + & - icons, (unlock lock first if locked), choose Set Service Order.
The interface that connects to the Internet should be dragged to the top of the list.
If using Wifi/Airport...
Instead of joining your Network from the list, click the WiFi icon at the top, and click join other network. Fill in everything as needed.
For 10.5/10.6/10.7/10.8, System Preferences>Network, unlock the lock if need be, highlight the Interface you use to connect to Internet, click on the advanced button, click on the DNS tab, click on the little plus icon, then add these numbers...

Have yu tried the standard fixes:
- Resetting:
Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Restoring the iPOd via iTunes. First from backup and if problem persists, restore to factory defaults/new iPod
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since you likely have a hardware problem -

I haven´t being able to send emails with MAIL for two days. I have managed 7 email accounts with 3 different servers for more than 2 years with no problem until last Monday.

The Strings "Fred" and "47" at lines 12 and 13 are NOT created when that method is invoked. They are created when the class is loaded.
Note, however, that some of this is based on current implementations, NOT on requirements of the JLS or VM spec, so really, the answers could be different. Overall, it's a poorly thought out question.

I have an iPhone 4s and it is now deactivated. the phone is asking for my apple account and password. but i have forgotten my password. i tried to reset it on iforgot.apple.com, and when i entered my apple id the next thing that appeared on screen is that i have to chose either email verification or security questions. then i click the security question then it asked about my birthday. there where only asking the month and day. then i entered my birthday which is March 8.
so can somebody help me with this problem?

This is regarding a brand new ASUS PA 279Q, 2560 x 1440 IPS monitor. I'm connected via mini display port (into thunderbolt port on MacBook Pro) to display port on ASUS monitor; using cable ASUS included with the monitor. Mid 2012 MacBook Pro…full specs at bottom of this post.
I have resolution set at 2560 x 1440 which is the native resolution according to the ASUS spec. I tried the other resolutions available in my System Preferences and text displayed rough with those settings too. I've tried adjusting contrast, brightness and sharpness via the ASUS control panel and didn't solve the problem. Also tried calibrating via Mac's system preferences/display and that did not improve text display either. All the text on this monitor (no matter what software I launch, Finder, InDesign, Illustrator, MS Word, Excel, VMWare Windows XP, Windows versions of Word, Excel, Acrobat, etc, all are consistently rendering text the same way --- ROUGH and with "HALOS" around each letter.
All point sizes of text and at various scales, display very rough on the screen. (My comparison is the retina display of my MBP and a Thunderbolt…so those two displays are my expectations.) I'm using the same MBP for both a Thunderbolt display (at work) and this ASUS at my home office.
On the ASUS it's not as noticeable when the text is on white backgrounds, but I'm a graphic designer and compose images with text all day everyday. Not to mention the specs on this ASUS PA279Q indicate it's built for the professional so I would expect better text rendering. I haven't even addressed color calibration and balance yet, because that won't matter to me if the text won't display any better than it is now.
I was so hopeful after researching all the specs on this monitor it would be a viable alternative to the glossy display of the Thunderbolt display. (Which, I do love the Thunderbolt display for it's clarity and how it displays crisp, clean text at all sizes. (This ASUS actually displays text decently if I increase the text so each letter is about 4" high. Which is pointless for practical purposes -- that'd be like doing page layout through a microscope!)
I kept holding off on getting a monitor for the home office thinking the Thunderbolt would be updated soon. I'd be sick if I dropped a grand on piece of 2011 technology only to learn a few days later an updated Thunderbolt display hit the market! Not to mention, I'm praying Apple comes out with a less reflective Thunderbolt display. The glare and reflection is the main reason I looked elsewhere for a large monitor; hence my asking for help. Hoping the ASUS text display issue can be worked out. My expectation is for it to display like the MBP retina and Thunderbolt display text. That possible?
Alternatively, I guess I could do the Apple Refurb Thunderbolt at $799. And see if there's a decent aftermarket anti-glare I could stick on it?

ASUS PA279QI uninstalled those two items. It still runs slow on start-up and when opening safari, firefox, iphoto, itunes, etc. It's not snappy like it used to be. Any other ideas? Thanks.

Can someone help with a connection problem?
I have a DroidX2 and have noticed that the phone routinely switches from 3G to 1X, especially in certain rooms in the house..
This is consistant and usually the signal is only two bars.
Whenever I try to watch a Youtube video it will play for maybe 12 seconds and then I will have to play with the settings in Youtube to download more of the video. Maybe 1 out of 50 times the video plays straight through without stopping. Most of the time the screen will show 1X instead of 3G. Could it be my phone settings, phone coverage or Youtube causing the problem? I sometimes have dropped calls as well. I have the most current software and Youtube was recently updated. I am also receiving "cannot establish a connection" messages on Youtube. Can someone please help? Thank you.Lorenzo1950, thanks for posting! Are you still having issues with your connections? Can someone help with a networking problem?
Here's a situation I need some help with:
I live in a semi-detached house. My neighbour has broadband, I don't. The phone company (BT) has said it would cost too much to install another line to enable me to have broadband, and would involve digging up the road and the garden, which they're not prepared to do.
However, someone at work has suggested that I approach my neighbour and ask if I could 'share' their broadband connection and in return pay a contribution to their monthly costs.
For this, I believe, I would need to buy a router, plus something to make my Mac 'wireless'.
Now, I consider myself Mac-savvy, but when it coms to wireless stuff I confess I know very little! So if someone could explain in simple terms what I would need to buy and approx costs I be very grateful!
I have a G5, and I believe my neighbour is a PC user.
Also, can someone explain how the whole 'share' thing works? Does my neighbour have to have their computer on all the time? Do I need to sign up with an ISP? Will having two computers accessing one line slow it down significantly?

AndyHi Andy, before going too far down the 'sharing' route I would rattle some cages chez BT. If your neighbour has broadband then you and they are within a hair's breadth (line length speaking) of the same distance to the exchange. If they have enabled BB next door, why can't they enable BB for you without the hassle? I live on a mobile home site in the back of beyond in Devon and when I upgraded from dial-up to BB, and then to 1 meg there was no problem. There was a two week hiatus while BT did their stuff 'on the line' but it all went without a hitch. Er...I take it you do have an exclusive landline?
However, if the situation re the line is as per, then the simplest way (to obviate any wifi interference issues) would be for you or neighbour to route an ethernet cable through walls/window frames from your Mac to a router on their side of the wall. (Approx £30?) This would be connected to their phone line. Their PC would also plug into the router. (Which they may already have if they're on BB, though they may have a nasty USB BB modem  : : No good for what you want.
If you/they don't want the 'hardwire' option then first you have to wifi enable your Mac if it is not already. Not sure of the costs but check on the Apple website for 'Airport Extreme Card'. Don't go the wifi USB dongle route, apparently they are not VG, though I've no personal experience. You would then have to get a wifi router modem (from £40 I think, it's a long time since I've looked, my Belkin has been virtually faultless) which would sit on their side of the wall plugged into the BT socket. Their PC would either plug into that or connect wirelessly with it, as is their wont. That's basically it, but there could still be interference issues, eg, two households with microwaves, cordless phones; intervening walls, bookcases, filing cabinets etc., etc.,
If done via either of the above, then no, your neighbour doesn't have to have their PC on all the time, if ever.
You don't have to sign up with an ISP, it would have to be a 'gentleman's agreement' that you bung him £x pm for your share. He is already paying his ISP.
In practice, sharing would only slow down large downloads.If you were each downloading a large file at the same time then you would be sharing the bandwidth, so your respective files would download at half the speed than they would otherwise. If you are each surfing and if you both 'clicked' at the same time then, yes, he might think, "Wish I hadn't said yes to Andy, this page is taking ages". I don't really think anyone would notice though unless he was surfing at the same time as you were downloading something big, or vice versa.
I hope the above is some help but I would have a word with the neighbour first and sound them out, after rattling BT that is...
