Can someone help me upload images? I get a "corrupt" error message.

I have Macbook Pro with Lightroom - Version 2.3, Camera Raw 5.3. I insert my SD card directly into my computer (images taken in raw format .CR2 - on a Canon Rebel T1i). When I try to upload the images into Lightroom, I get an error message telling me the files are corrupt. What am I doing wrong??

By the way, though it won't be as nice as a completely redrawn image, such as what MW Design posted above, if time is of the essence the Photoshop CC 14.0 Image Size dialog can do a nice job - provided you choose the "Preserve Details (upsampling)" method, can often yield an upsampled image with reasonably crisp edges, that might be more usable than the small version.

How did you delete your songs off your iPod while it was charging? What did you do?
In iTunes, click "File" and then click "Add file to library". A new window will open, make sure the top says "iTunes Music" folder. Are your songs there?

You only need to enter your information once. Ideally, turn on iCloud first. If you have already entered data in multiple devices and then turn on iCloud, you may have some duplicates to clean up.
You don't need to have anything plugged in. Just turn on iCloud. Your pictures will show up on all devices.

Help...i keep getting the following error message...

anyone out there can offer some assistance? the following error message only appears almost towards the end of the burning process:
"The recording device reported the not ready error: Cannot write medium – incompatible format. (0x30, 0x05.)"
Here's what i've done so far:
1. I've removed all attached peripherals and initiated a Apple Hardware Test - no errors detected BUT when i tried the burning process on iDVD - same thing happened!
2. I then purchased a CD ROM cleaner. Listened to the horrible elevator music and tried it again - nothing. Well, nothing new - same error message!
3. Question is - is my Superdrive faulty? Or is it a software issue with iDVD? Do i need to download an update or something?

I have had problems with Sony disks. The most recommended here are Verbatim 8x DVD-R burned at 4x or even 2x (slower burn = better burn).
I also get consistent success with Fuji disks.
It doesn't matter that your disks are 16x, just burn them at a slower rate.
BTW, if your disks are '4.7GB' they a single layer.

Have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds (ignore the red slider), after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

Place the iOS device in Recovery Mode and then connect to your computer and restore via iTunes.
If recovery mode does not work try DFU mode.

If you get the corrupt error message then go to iTunes>Preferences>Devices and select the backup and delete it.

Please read this whole message before doing anything.
This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login, by a peripheral device, by a font conflict, or by corruption of the file system or of certain system caches.
Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards, if applicable. Start up in safe mode and log in to the account with the problem. You must hold down the shift key twice: once when you turn on the computer, and again when you log in.
Note: If FileVault is enabled, or if a firmware password is set, or if the startup volume is a Fusion Drive or a software RAID, you can’t do this. Ask for further instructions.
Safe mode is much slower to start up and run than normal, with limited graphics performance, and some things won’t work at all, including sound output and Wi-Fi on certain models. The next normal startup may also be somewhat slow.
The login screen appears even if you usually login automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin.
Test while in safe mode. Same problem?
After testing, restart as usual (not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

IF you do find a backup that has your contacts; I'd /highly/ recommand turning off your wifi network after the restore is finished because if the issue is with your iCloud your contacts may merge back with her's.
With iCloud you DO NOT want to share the account; bad things happen Evil evil thigns...
But in all seriousness; if two devices have the same iCloud; iCloud is told to merge and sync infomation between hte two and can't tell that it doesn't belong to the same person
